"S-sorry.." she said, standing up straight. Lunia looked at the ground in silence, waiting for Amon to say something. She was in alot of pain from her wound but hid it, not wanting to cause a fuss. It would heal over eventually anyway, she wouldn't bother anyone with it, especially not Amon. Lunia was still looking at the ground, she seemed in complete shock and upset about everything that had just happened, within a day she had lost her home, her father, her protection... everything.. it made a tear form in her eye.

Slowly watching Lunia standing up, he began to stand up himself. Dusting off the dirt, he looked over with a slight glare and patted her head after taking his mask back. "It's best not to stay in one place." as Amon slid the mask back on. He whistled out as a horse came galloping towards them. Slowly taking the rein he hopped over and sat their looking at the tear from her eye. "Come on, they will be looking for us. Your father is not easy to let his daughter to escape." as he placed his left hand out to her. "If you need a place to stay, come with me. We got a encampment near the Dark forest. You can stay there if you like." as he waited.

Lunia turned to look at Amon, she gently nodded, trying to fight back tears and walked up beside him. Placing out her hand, nervous, she held onto it and pulled herself up. She sat behind him and slightly leaned on his back, devastated.

"Don't worry, Questions will be answered." as he slowly gave the horse a bit of a kick. Both of them began to ride towards the trail that led the dark forest. Riding as fast as they could he could hear the soldiers behind. Saying they have sealed the doors correctly, giving a grin behind the mask. He started off to pull a bit to show the horse to go to the right. "So, it must be very surprising to find out your father is the killer. It was for us, My mother and father served the queen. They were great soldiers but they were killed before they could make to the bed room. I was left alone during that burning fire." as he slowly told the horse to sped up a bit more.

Lunia sighed, she shook her head and raised it to look at him. "Surprising? Is that all you have to say about it?" she said, rhetorically. "There's something wrong.. he wouldn't just kill her.. there's something else to it.." she added. Hearing about his parents being killed made her sad, she sighed heavily once again. "I'm sorry to hear about your parents, they must have been good people" she said, leaning her head on him again, comfortable.

"I see, you still believe your father is innocent. But thanks to him, countless of refugees that live in the dark forest, have anger in their eyes for what he did. It's not something you can easily believe." as he slowly gave a spark of magic to the dark door in front of them as it opened. Slowly taking the reigns he began to hop off and held his hands to the Princess. "Welcome the Dark Forest Milady, please understand, the folks don't take lightly too royalty. Only the Queen is acceptable."

Lunia took his hands and stepped down from the horse, she dusted herself down and looked around, noticing the menacing glares she was recieving from people. "Well.. the Queen is dead so they need to get over themselves..." she said, pretty meanful. But really, she was sick of everyone constantly talking about her mother. She looked around her, noticing why it was called Dark Forest, by the people and the scenery, it was exactly what she loved. "Is there anything else you wish of me? Or can i please take a look around?!" she said, getting very excited. "I've always loved leaving the castle to come and visit the town, normal lives are so interesting to watch!" she said, almost like an excited child.

Listening to Lunia talking about the Queen being dead, the people began to grow angrier by the second. But an old man appeared out of the people and elderly man who looked towards her with a gentle face. "You are wrong new comer, the queen still lives. For she is part of us and part of this world. Isn't that right Amon I mean Dragon." Amon slowly sighed and smiled behind his mask. "Of course Elder, she does live in us and in you Princess." as he laughed a bit. But hearing her wanting to take a look. He just waited to see her reaction. "It would be best to wait later on, you see since you have angered the people here, it would be wise to not walk alone. If you must know, the people who live here are the people that served the Queen years ago, or you can say we are the Dragon people, who forged the land of Cornelia with the King of the Lion. But betrayed at the end, they are force to live here. While you sit and live in noble fire. Eating the best, having power and riches and rank of nobility as we have suffered because you and the King. But I do not hold any grudges against you. But the people on the other hand might. So it would be best if you stay with me."

Lunia looked at the old man, she smiled gently at him, nodding in agreement. As he left she watched him, and felt slightly saddened by Amon's story. She stepped back when he had finished and looked at him with complete anger, "So what your saying, is that i'm hated for doing absolutely nothing to you?!?!" she yelled, turning away from him. "Why would i stay with someone that classes everything as my fault?!.. when i didn't even know it was happening!!" she said, "Your all nothing but a joke.. putting blame on someone else.." she added. Lunia got slightly upset and began to run away, sliding down some vines she came to a hidden spot where she sat, thinking and crying.

The people took arms but Amon stopped them. "Hold your ground people, it's not best to fight her. She wields the blade of her fathers. After noticing the sword you have, you must realize, that we aren't blaming you. Were just tired of seeing those who lived and did nothing to help us during that time years ago." as Amon held ground. But one of the men came out and threw a hissy fit. "It's your fault! Because of you and your father we asked for help so many times and yet you kill each of us, and lessen our homes by burning them!" as another stepped forward. "Yeah that's right! While you sit in the time of power, you do nothing to help us! Only the Dragon has supported us!" another stepped up as well. "Amon! Let me kill her!" Amon turned face to the people. "Stop the queen will be happy. She is already sadden, we don't need her to cry." as he stood their. "I am sorry, but do not blame us for doing what we think is right. The Queen was like a mother to us, she knew the right things and always put us before her. She wanted peace for Cornelia, she wanted you to be happy and not live a life in darkness. Sources have told me that the king has plotted a plan, you see you hold the key to his immortality, once he takes all the power inside you. You will die and he will become a god. We cannot allow that. So we have a favor, will you help us and restore the peace that your mother dreamnt but never finished."

Lunia heard the words he was saying, she stood out from where she was and looked at him. "I'm not talking right now.. i just want to be alone.." she said. As she began to walk off slowly however, the wound she had sent a shooting pain right down her side, and she bent over and held onto it. "Geez.. this hurts.." she said to herself as she fell to her knee. Taking her hand away from her side she noticed that it was still bleeding pretty badly. "Do you have any bandages or anything Amon?" she asked him.

Watching her as she staggered off, to be alone she says.. She wont get any far with that mere wound. as he thought. Slowly as they watched her leave. He noticed her falling to her knee and was asked if she could have some bandages? "Yes we do, but here you wont get much. Instead I'll contact some Mages to heal you." as he used what seemed to be a spark into the sky, a couple of mages appeared in no time flat and witnessed Lunia on the ground. "Heal her." as Amon ordered. The White Mages did as they were told and all four began to heal her at the same time. While watching the process of the white magic, he started to walk over to the front and stood their looking at her. " To be alone, is not wise here. If you want to be alone, I can let you stay at my place. Unless you want to head back to the way we came.. the only path that leads to the king. The only way to lead to the other paths are through the people." as he stood their. But as one of the Time mages appeared and ran to Amon. "Dragon their is a problem with the Tree of life, you must hurry back and sustain it!" Amon stood their and looked at Lunia and back at the man. "Alright, Elder could you watch over the Princess for me. If she tries to move during the healing, she will die. She's very important to me." as the elder nodded he made sure the people wouldn't do any harm to her. Amon followed the Time Mage out of the village.

Lunia stayes still during the healing, as much as she felt weak and pathetic she sat for it, as it was making her wound feel much better. She could hear Amon speaking but only heard the part that he was leaving her alone and that she was important. "Am i important in the nice way? Or just part of his plan..." she said to herself.
As the healing was completed, Lunia thanked the mages and was greeted by the Elder. She looked at him and shook his hand, "At least someone is nice to me here.." she said, as the Elder began to lead her somewhere. She didn't really like being dragged somewhere but went along, what did she have to lose?
As they came through some vines that hung down like a curtain, Lunia brushed them aside and was shocked at what she was now seeing. It was just one huge shrine to the Queen, to her mother. There were flowers everywhere, worshipers, people crying. The Elder placed his hand out as if to say have a look, and Lunia stepped forwards, beginning to read notes that had been left, beautiful notes of how much she was loved.

The Elder smiled as Lunia took part at the temple, He was fond of her because she resembled her mother when she was the queen of this land. Showing Lunia more will probably bring back old memories when he was a young man who fought alongside the queen when she was young. Maybe this young girl will be the same. He thought. Then he noticed the blade on her back, it was emitting the same aura that her mother had long ago.
In the vast meadow a large tree stands before the land, symbol-led in all. The Dragon made front and offered his life to keep it alive, losing part of his years, he was willing to keep it living. "I'm here to offer my life, again oh tree of legends. Please if you hear me once more, I will do whatever it takes to make sure this land will stay alive, even if I must pass." for the tree to accept he placed his hand on the tree and began to give it nourishment of his life force. The tree started to show signs of life once more as it beated into the lands. The people were happy because of it. But Dragon only would have 24 years more to live.

Lunia eventually got to a bunch of roses that had been placed down. She smiled and picked them up, smelling them. "These were my Mothers favourites..." she said, placing them back down. She read the note on it, and sighed heavily afterwards. It read how much the Queen was loved, and mentioned about the Princess, hoping that she would turn out just like her mother. It made Lunia think for a few seconds to herself, before she stood up and looked at the Elder. "Alright, i think it's maybe time that i step up to be the next Queen..." she said, putting a strong face on.
The blade on her back began to shine brightly, for some strange reason. She was gaining looks and gasps from people around her, but was too busy looking at the sword herself. Lunia took it from her back and held it out infront of her, having to close her eyes from how bright the shine was. "Moonblade.." she whispered. For a few minutes it kept shining, but died down after that. Lunia looked at the blade in awe, and confusion, she had no idea what had just happened.
