I remember that day perfectly, even though I was young. I was in Spain for school that year, and it was the lunch break and I went home and my grandparents were watching it on tv. They didn't let me go back to school that day either bc of it.
I didn't understand what was going on, but now that I'm older, it's heartbreaking.. I might not exactly be the biggest fan of America either, even though it's my home, but even I cannot help but feel remorse remembering what happened 10 years ago.
RIP to all the heroes that rose up when they were needed You will never be forgotten heart

I'd just like to note that while we are praying for those Americans who died in America, let's also pray for those innocent Iraqis, Afghanis and other foreigners who died under suspicion without evidence of terrorism. In fact, let's pray for every single occurrence of crime in every single country every day, even on this very second. And let's not just pray to the Christian god, let's pray to Allah. Let's pray to Shiva. Let's pray to Zeus. Let's pray to every religious deity and every scientifically proclaimed higher power in the universe. People die every second of every day, 9/11 wasn't more special than any other death. Let's mourn those who die and praise those who are born, always.

umm hi last night i was watching the attacks and was astounded by what happen i heard there was a familly a little baby girl a mom and dad on flight 11 the first plane. I also heard that people in tower 2 south one were told there building was secure and to not evactuate. umm i heard many stories last night but i had been hoping my familly didn't know anyone on board but it seems that my dads friend he went to the Air force academy with was on one of those planes. That man had a few month old baby, and she should be around the age of 10. I just want to say i was only three at daycare and my mom was golfing but i blame our govenrment for not preventing this being cautious and listening. there was this Phoenix report saying it was likely we were going to be attacked and the places they named 1 was the white house and the twin towers.
I would like to say thank you to all the rescue responders, those brave people on flight 93, and lastly just anyone helping out in the buildings.
one last thing there were 2 men on the 81 floor 3 floors away from were the second plane it. one man pulled the other out and they ran out and made it. There are many stories but i want to say rest in peace those innocent people who died.

I was in school when the planes hit. The first thing the teachers did was evac the building. I remember my parents picking me up, but nothing significant after that.
It wasn't until two days later that I'd learned what happened in New York, and over two years later that I learned who, why, and what it meant.
Honestly: I don't know a single person who died that day, but I have friends who lost friends, who lost family.
Rest in Peace: the heroes, the victims; everyone killed on 9.11.

R.I.P , I know i'll never fully understand what it felt like to watch those attacks on September 11. I was too young to remeber . All of the heros, firefighters, vitims, suvivors, resuce workers, all the muslims that died and they knew absolutly nothing about the attacks. my heart goes out to all of you.

My brief description of what I can remember. I wasn't in school, because I was just out of hospital. We were at the shops I think, and when we got back, there was a special news broadcast, we watched it. And the Irish TV Reporter was naming the amount of Irish nationals on the airlines, and to contact the Minister of Foreign Affairs office, as they didn't want to release any names. The heart breaking story was the one with the mother and her kid, and the airplane crashed right into Tower 1, I think, which had her brother in it. neutral

"The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself, ~ This is a good song when you think about the need for change that was brought about by 9/11 ~
with desire for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful."
