Leolilac Leo told a friend who still goes to her old highschool that she would come visit him when it started this morning, but she turned her alarm off in her sleep and now she feels like a failure of a friend. gonk Accidents happen like that Leo- you don't strike me as the kind of person who makes a habit of it. heart *hugs*

She'd try to make lunch plans instead, but he's in class now. She's trying to decide whether or not to walk up there for lunch anyway, but if he already has plans it would be awkward.

She's trying to decide whether or not to walk up there for lunch anyway, but if he already has plans it would be awkward.If it were me, I'd bring him a little treat- like a cupcake or something. If he has plans, give him the cupcake as a gift and say you hope you can have a raincheck for getting together- that way you can go there just to give him the present if he has plans, but if he doesn't you can be there to make spontaneous plans with him.

Leolilac Because she wanted someplace to ramble about stuff that didn't feel as silly as a journal. She just has nothing to ramble about right now. sweatdrop Well, perhaps a phrase one of my art teachers used to repeat constantly could be of use? "First get close, then get closer!" Why not introduce yourself to your readers in detail bit by bit? Take something you enjoy and write about it.

So, Leo's first day of actual class in college is tomorrow. She's officially a college kid!
It's got her nostalgia-ing super hardcore...Growing up is weird sometimes. sweatdrop
This college thing still doesn't even feel real. She's sure that'll go away soon, but it's just weird to her how much she's changed in the last few years and whatnot.

First week of classes is over. The classes themselves are great, but Leo is angry at her school. They promised her certain loans and a work study award, and then they told her right after the first bill was sent out that she couldn't use them because her dad works at the school and she has a discount.
This is bullshit, because they checked like 4 times that this wouldn't happen, and the tuition waiver certainly can't stand on its own.
Leo's dad is talking to people and said not to worry, that they can still use different loans that gather more interest, but she's just mad that they were basically lied to about how everything would work. >.>

Whew, college is sucking away all of Leo's "relax on the internet" time. She hasn't really had a whole lot of time (or motivation) to post around on Gaia lately. sweatdrop
On the happy side, she's been having some fun weekends. ^^
