CAKA Chapter 1: Ruins in the Swamp

Felinni shook his head, 'No, I can't see anything yet... Wait, there's a couple of them on the walls, right? So if they have clarion horns, then... We just have to take those horns out.' He nodded now, and drew his crossbow.

(How far away are we, and how many of them have horns?)

((You're 500 feet away, and two have horns.))  

[Jacior]

"Genji, you see anything up there? I really can't see around you or I wouldn't ask." Farous asked, prodding the minotaur into a conversation. It felt like they had been slogging throught this stuff forever, he was eager to get back onto relatively dry land.  

[Raganui Minamoto]

"Nothing much. I could throw you and see if you see anything."  

[Jacior]

Farous' face blanched at the prospect. "I-I'd rather not, if it is all the same to you." It seemd Genji was determined to be bull-headed. Or maybe that was just the way he thought. Either prospect was eaqually scary...  

[Michael Bladebreaker]

Felinni stifled a cough, still up in the tree, using his arm. 'So... Does anyone know what else we should expect from these guys? They're Kobolds, right? We should be alright.' He looked back to Mich, making sure he was still there.  

[Raganui Minamoto]

He just shrugged and continued his steady march through the murky mire.  

[Mushkiller]

"About all we have to worry about is traps, I think. At least from the Kobolds. We're going to have to get closer before we can start firing at them though...." Mich replied hastily. He was also still in the tree, sitting on a branch that was able to support his weight.  

[Slave Xaccheus]

((I'll get started whenever you're all ready.))

He just shrugged and continued his steady march through the murky mire.

((How far would you say you've gone?))

((I would say a pretty fair distance. We've been on the path for a while.))

((Say... 250 or so?))

((as far as I can in this swamp))

((Yeah, 250'll work, I guess. Unless that puts us in the iddle of the kobolds or a trap!))
