F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace only flinched at first with his hair being moved, but after she touched his warm forehead, his hand shot up out of no where, he drug her down to the ground and strattled her with a dagger to her neck. He was panting heavily and snarling with the intent to kill in his eyes but seeing her he sighed hanging his head. He looked up at her slightly irritated but relived as he pulled the dagger away from her and slipped it back into his pant line again. He stepped off of her and sunk down onto his pillow again and pulled the blanket up to his chin like nothing happened but he was still awake. "Sorry, people have tried to kill me in my sleep before," he apologized quietly. He shuttered a little bit and curled up on the floor again and closed his eyes despite the fact that he knew there was good food for breakfast from the smell of it, but he wasn't hungry at all.
"Why'd you come over here? I figured Alex would be keeping you busy," he said with a weak smile before it vanished as his eyes slipped closed again. He didn't fight the fact that his body was sore and he just wanted sleep. Still, when his eyes closed, it was just darkness. No relief came from it he found. He rubbed his eyes before opening them finding it just pointless to sleep before he kicked the blankets off of him. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє "Aesa, why can't you just let me sleep?" he complained before he was picked up and he did his best to walk, but he found it nearly impossible finding himself dizzy as he stood. He tried to walk as they moved but his body hurt to much to respond to anything. He didn't want to move at all and he was to tired to do so. He closed his eyes breathing in deeply finding himself cold but over heating at the same time. Nothing worked for him though. Exhaustion held onto him to tightly for him to be able to break free of it leaving him just another worn out person on this miserable day for him. Her helping him wasn't helping his mood though he was to tired to and just wanted to be left alone.
When he was laid down, he winced a little and helped himself and her the best he could before he sunk into the foreign smelling bed. With it no longer smelling like him or Alex, he found it odd, but he still found it comfortable as he started drifting back to sleep again already despite him now fighting himself so he could get up and go do what he needed to do and find out information for Aesa. Stuck like this didn't get either of them any where. Upon feeling the cold cloth on his forehead his tense face relaxed in enjoyment as he felt better with the cooler surface. He opened one eye looking at her in almost a glare, but it wasn't sharp enough to exactly be one. "I find you the foolish one for not getting out of here when you could. Being here isn't any safer than a prison," he admitted quietly before he realized he'd been actually holding his breath for no reason really other than to get the new headache to stop. When it didn't help, he let himself start breathing deeply and rapidly just wanting it to stop. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace fell into comotose shortly after she'd finished explaining. He was to tired to keep awake or explain any further. "Ask your questions I'm sure you have later," was the last sentence before his mind drifted away for the rest of the morning. He felt better sleeping, but he was still restless as he was always even when he wasn't exhausted. He was a busy, adrenaline living man. Sleeping and staying home this much was killing him. He needed to make that deal come through other wise his reputation was going to fail if he didn't get that box to the man. It was overall just stupid if he didn't get anything done. That was what was his main concern knowing Alex was safe with Aesa. Still, she left him feeling unsettled and completely unsure.
Late in the day, he stirred again, but he didn't slowly wake. Like before, he was a whirl wind the second he started moving. He kicked back the sheets and set the cloth down on the nightstand taking off the cool cloth letting him know that he still had a fever since it was put on recently. He looked around franticly before he found his boots he'd been wearing when he ran into Aesa along with the same enchanted coat, red sash, weapons, and bag. "I'm going out. Alex'll be back at about sun down, I should be home before then. If I'm not, don't panic until the next morning," he said in a mutter before he went to step out of the door way. Upon trying to do so, he sunk against it groaning as he laid his already warm head against it again. He pushed himself off of it finding himself dizzy, but not to much that he couldn't sleep. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

Aesa had been meditating in the living area when Ace burst from the room, all motion. She slowly disengaged her legs from their crossed position, opening one eye to watch his swift progress as he made for the door. Making it to her feet she moved towards the door where he leaned against the frame, his face still flushed. "Tell me Ace, what is so important that you are willing to head into an obviously dangerous situation when it is equally obvious you are not healthy enough to do so?" Aesa's tone was not patronizing, and even carried traces of amusement at his persistance.
Aesa tried to gently pull his bag away from him to get him to rest a bit before venturing out. She knew normally she would stand no chance, but was hoping his weakened state would allow her the dexterity to do so.

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє He closed his eyes and sighed irritably looking back at her with frustration for the world, but still, no hate for her. Even though he knew she was right. "Because, its my job and it's my life. Its a toxin in my system that I'll die from if I don't keep this up even when there is a real one to be worried about. If I don't get this done, I loose my reputation and it's going to be harder on Alex to go through this again. I'm not letting her down," he said with his words only half making sense in his dazed mind. Even if he was weakened severally, he had the will power pushing him through it all. He didn't care at all what others had to say. If he was set on it, it was going to happen.
"If you are so worried, come with, but you'll have to down dress," he said quietly before pushing out the door quietly slipping out of the bag and holding the box in his hand before it vanished into an inner pocket. He stood outside in the cool air waiting for an answer as he pulled his hood over his face covering up the softer guy he was before. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє While she'd vanished into his room, he'd walked back into the house and grabbed something out of the bottom of the drawer and carried it outside with him. He stood there waiting on her before he turned to look at her. He eyed her and her figure and shrugged without much emotion as most of his face was hidden in the shadows. "We can get you something more fitting and more, well, underworld thing that you'll need," he said quietly. He tossed her a black leather coat that had a large hood like his and then a belt with a black dagger. "Take care of that till we get you something. No magic. None," he said quietly to her, "You do that, you'll die. I'll die and you'll then actually have been better in jail. No one kills clean here. If you aren't killed, worse 'll happen." He knew she made it sounded very gruesome, but that was the truth of what was going on. Honestly, he wasn't in shape to save her life if something happened. He patted her shoulder quietly and sighed before walking off motioning her to fallow with him. "If you fall behind, get back here, don't try to find me," he reminded her quietly.
With that, he took off in a full run sprint. It took a lot more than a fever to keep him down and out of his game finding himself completely prepared for almost anything. Well, at least mentally. He ran through the woods slipping through the foliage with his cloak blending in with the lighting easily turning him almost invisible except for his movements. He didn' slow down until they hit the city part of town. Ace panted slightly as he looked around at what was going on finding himself tired again already, but he still had to keep going. He gave one last look to make sure she was still back there before he hopped up onto a roof looking around for who he was looking for.
Seeing where he should be heading, he sat down looking around before dabbing his face with the end of his sash sitting on the roof letting her catch up finding that he needed to catch his own breath. He was so tired already and just prayed that they didn't run into any more problems on the way. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace looked at her feeling bad for not helping her, but he didn't have time to. He was barely making it on his own, he should have just told her to stay behind. He clenched down on his side as it pained him badly making it feel like he wouldn't stand again. He looked at her before he groaned under his breath in slightly pain before he stood up on his wobbly legs looking at her quietly. "We are meeting in the bar," he said softly before he slipped down and started trekking across the huge city a few buildings before he slipped into a large one. This time, he made sure she was behind him. She opened the gate way into the musty warrior's bar equipped with two bars on both floors and a full kitchen behind the base one just like a restaurant might, but the food here wasn't open to just anyone. This was a place of the dogs. This was where the life of the underworld gathered.
He waited for her to pass him before he let the doors fall closed. With everyone turning their attention to him, he snarled and growled audibly when they fell on Aesa. His alternate personality might be cold, but he wasn't heartless and he was very protective still of her. He couldn't hide the fact that he was starting to care about her more than just a guest. He wrapped an arm around her for a second guiding her towards the stairs before he shoved past them all to get to the top leaving a path for her. In seconds though, the slot closed as people filled up the space and he made his way to a seat into the back of the room. "Nightmare," he muttered quietly as he approached the table with that angry glare still in his eyes.
"Who's he?" the man asked before he stood and showed himself. He was tall, dark haired that was receding rapidly. He wasn't tall at all, he was rather skinny and he was covered in a black cloak. He was draped in a black robe with his grey eyes glaring at Aesa.
He stood before her and made sure she was behind him. "He's with me. Logan gave me the info about robbing the school," he said with venom coating his voice. He sad down apposite of him pulling up a chair for Aesa next to her. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

Aesa was taken aback anew when he snarled in the bar, showing a fierce side of his personality he had only hinted at before. Not wishing to do anything that might betray their facade, the mageling kept her own council, moving as he directed her.
The vicious looking male in front of her seemed to fall short of the illustrious title of 'Nightmare' though she certainly wouldn't be the one to inform him of the fact. Taking her seat slightly to the side and behind of Ace she tried to sit as though he was. She hoped it came accross as masculine - she was so nervous that she would somehow give them away and spell their deaths. Her fingers itched with the need to cast a protective spell about the two of them and she fought with her forbidden desire.
Aesa's eyebrows rose as Ace spoke of robbing a school though the expression was hidden beneath her concealing hood. Was this perhaps the job that had forced her providencial meeting with Ace.

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє "A drink then for you and your partner?" he asked with a deathly cold voice. He had a cruel smile, yet it was perfect just like everything else about him showing himself of higher class including his ring. He wasn't from the underworld, he'd payed Ace to rob the school even though he had complete access to it the whole time.
"No," Ace answered with a cold voice, "I just want my money and I'll be gone." He crossed his arms across his chest resting his shoulder blades on the top back of the chair. He looped on foot behind a chair leg while the other one sat on the opossing side of the chair. He was completely tense even though he sat in such a relaxed manor as his teal eyes glared down the man across from the table. Seeing this, 'Nightmare' dropped a large bag of coins on the table and Ace pulled the box out of his coat. With a blur of white, he snatched up the bag and put the well decorated box. He slipped the bag into his coat before slowly getting up to leave.
"One more thing, Ace," the man said in a voice that could chill a fire. "I hope you are in better shape than you look." With that, he snapped his fingers and a few men he didn't notice before stood up all wearing armor of the council as they advanced on him. He pulled his sword out of its sheath with an audible hiss as it shone an angry dark red against the etched silver in the candle light. It was obvious this wasn't a normal blade, then again, when was anything about him normal?
"Logan, get the hell out of here, I'll meet you back," he said with an angry voice hoping that she would go home and realize that's what he meant. After a few seconds though, a warrior lashed out at him and he caught his blade on his own and a spark flashed of fire before he shoved him over the railing breaking it out into a full out bar fight with axes, hammers, and all shapes of blades. With all that, Ace charged head first into it for a few seconds before he started trying to flee it and get the hell out of here. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace stumbled after her before he grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder softly and wincing a little bit. "Hang on," he said gently before he leapt up on the remains of the railing and leaped up onto the chandelier before climbing out a skylight at the last second before it broke. He stumbled to pull them both up and onto the roof before he collapsed into the cold night momentarily. His chest heaved up and down with his heart threatening to burst from his chest. After a few minutes, he got up hearing the soldiers after them. "Come on," he said obviously already exhausted. Normally this would be easy and he could do this six times in a row, but it wasn't. He was sick and getting sicker from it all, but he didn't have time to stop. "If you don't mind, Angel," he said softly picking her up in his arms before walking over to the edge of the building with her and leaping off of it onto another and running.
If he could keep his will up, this would result in an escape, but he couldn't go home yet, he couldn't go home for a few days. Instead, he kept running with her, only it ran into trouble on her own half. Thieves had their own side of town, and so did the lower mages that had been either casted out or refused the life. Even though he knew he was an outsider there, he was still known and hoped it would be enough. He set her down gently as they came to the magic scripped buildings and markings that held totems and symbols dangling, posted, and painted everywhere protecting themself from the evil spirits. "You should be fine here, maybe they can think of something to repay the council into having your good deed be able to prove you didn't kill anyone," he whispered quietly. He doubled over though and walked away to a garbage can unable to hold back the bile that burned his throat.
When he was done, he wiped his mouth clean and stole some water out of a bucket from the rain the other day. He rinsed his mouth out before standing up feeling sick all over again. "Dammit, we need to find somewhere for the night. I can't keep this up," he admitted as sweat actually soaked his clothes and fell down his face visibly. He closed his eyes tightly and pressed himself on looking for the woman that supposedly knew his father and helped raised him. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark
