"Nothing for now. We don't really do anything for another two hours." he said and sighed. He walked ahead of him. Jeff hated how stubbourn he was. "You know. All Scarlet wants you to do is talk to her. She may seem mean and horrible but she has feelings too." he said and left. Jeff had been with Scarlet for five years. They we're actually pretty close.

"Yeah?! That's not her fault! She didn't tell them to capture you! She didn't do it herself! She helped you! You know what they do to slaves that aren't sold?! They die!" Jeff yelled walking towards him. Jeff slapped Verde knocking him to the floor furious with his reaction. Jeff glared down at him. "If you were there for over a few weeks they would have killed you. Just like they almost did me." he said and walked away.

Jeff ignored him and walked downstair. He went to the kitchen and started slamming things as he straightened up. He was furious. At ten everyone started cleaning. Several hours later Scarlet came in with a million papers. She went to put them in her room. She came downstairs and walked into the kitchen. There was a planned party today and she had a few people cooking. and others getting ready for the party. Scarlet walked to the dining room and glanced at Verde. 'He still won't talk to me." she thought. She sighed and left the room. She avoided him the rest of the day til the part started.

Scarlet's bracelet beeped as he got closer to the gate. She hesitated to turn the dial. She sighed and turned it on two. Some how this hurt her inside. She could tell he wanted out. After a minute she stopped.

Scarlet's bracelet beeped even louder as he got closer. Her stomach clenched. She turned the dial to 3. She winced when she did it and immediatly turned it back down to 0. Something about the thought of hurting him made her feel horrible. She looked away from the bracelet feeling ashamed.

Scarlet got up and walked to the window seeing if he got away but she saw he collapsed. She sighed and went outside. she pulled him back to the hous and back up to his room. Scarlet then took took off his collar and her bracelet. She set it by his bed. "Scarlet what are you doing? He hasn't been trained yet." Jeff said walking in. "There is something about him that makes me think that I'm doing the wrong thing." she said. She walked out with Jeff following behind.

Scarlet didn't look at him. She was looking down at his collar in her hand. "The pain will go away soon. I have asprin of you need it." she said simply. She sighed and got up dropping th collar next to the bracelet on the floor. She left the room and went downstairs down to the party.

Scarlet walked down and fake smiled as she greeted people. She assumed he would leave soon. She wouldn't stop him. After greeting everyone she went to the kitchen and got a small thing of ice cream. She sat by the window and slowly ate it.
