Dean Winchester

Dean pulled into a hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado and sighed as he parked the car. His entire body was stiff, between the fight that paper had lead them to, and driving almost non-stop to get here, he was completely exhausted. He turned off the car and leaned back in the seat, looking over at Daniela "Okay, so we made it here safely, now what? I have no idea where we're supposed to go, they were around this area at the last sighting, but there's no telling where they went from here... Not for me anyway."

((And in response to all your questions:

Firstly, I'm going to be editing so that we're actually in Colorado. Castiel might be a good idea, just as a guide, points them to Europe maybe? And Europe we can do shortly after being in Colorado?))

Daniela, too, was exhausted from their last hunt. As they stopped in front of the hotel, Daniela could feel something different. It wasn't strong but it was something. "Stay here," she suggested and grabbed one of the guns just in case she met another demon.

The scent was very faint but she knew it was Calcifier's scent. Daniela walked toward the building but stopped to feel the ground. The ground felt normal but something was pulling her toward the alley way. She continued walking and walked around the building. The alley was dark and cold. The feeling sent chills up and down her spine. The wall at the end was cold to the touch. Too cold for Colorado Springs in the summer. When Daniela turned around to tell Dean, a figure was standing in front of her. He had no emotion and wore a tan clock, a white shirt, black pants and dress shoes.

"Can I help you?" Daniela asked suspiciously. He looked like an investigator but something was off. His aura was different from that of a demon. It was part human part....something else.

"I actually came to help you, Daniela." The man said in a deep, raspy voice. She slowly pulled the gun up, not trusting him.

"You make one wrong move and I'll blow your brains out." The man just stood there, unmoving. I expected, at any moment, for some of his minions to jump out and attack. "Dean!" Daniela called, hoping he would hear her. The more back up she had, the better.

Dean stepped out of the car as Daniela left, grabbing a gun in the process. He trusted her when she'd told him to stay put, and so, he hopped up on the hood of his car and leaned back against the window, eyes closed against the sun sitting high in the sky. He hummed softly to himself until he heard Daniela's panicked yell. In a flash, he was on his feet, armed, and at the mouth of the alleyway, looking at the mans back in-between himself and Daniela. He clenched his hands around the gun and then shook himself, forcing himself to relax. This wasn't a point to panic.... "Step away from her please." his voice was even as he spoke, and a chilling calm set in around him as he sighted down the gun to the back of the mans head

Daniela felt relieved when Dean came to her aid. The man in the cloak turned around and looked at Dean. "Nice to see you again, Dean." She took a step forward as if to re-emphasize her gun.

"Who are you? How do you know Dean?" She asked him. The man turned back around to face me, his expression unchanged.

"I am an angel of the Lord. My name is Castiel. I know Dean because we have met on previous occasions." Her gun still hung in the air pointing straight at him. "Now, I'm here to help you Daniela."

"How do you know my name? And why should I trust you? Angels don't exist." Her patience was running low but she had to remain calm. She was a professional at this. Then again, she was still a bit rusty. The man in the cloak sighed and looked at Dean before turning back to Daniela.

"I told you. I am an angel of the Lord. Angles do exist. There is opposition in all things, is there not?" Daniela said nothing. "I know a lot more than your name. I know you feel aura's and see visions. Like the one you saw of Sam." Daniela's heart skipped a beat. Dean wasn't supposed to know that. "You saw it because the Lord wanted you to see it. I'm here for that exact reason. We need to go to Europe." Daniela blinked at him.

"Excuse me?" She asked. "Europe?" The man nodded.

"London to be exact." Daniela looked over to Dean, still trying to find if everything Castiel had said was true. Though, she didn't have any feeling in her gut not to trust him.

Dean froze as Castiel turned to look at him, his eyes going wide, his arms dropping as he holstered the gun "Good to see you too again Castiel..." he muttered as he looked at the angel. He looked over at Daniela and walked around Castiel to her, lifting one hand, he pushed down on her gun "Castiel is telling the truth Daniela, he's an angel, as much as you're a psychic." he looked over at Castiel and sighed softly "London, really?" he shrugged "At least it's an option."

Daniela lowered her gun and placed it tucked in behind her back. So, he was an angel of the Lord. That wasn't something someone had the opportunity to experience. Though, Daniela saw it as nothing but bad. She didn't see it any other way. He was bringing them bad news. They had to travel to Europe and the only way to get there was by plane and Dean hated planes. That was one of the few things he feared. Another one was losing Sam and that had already happened.

"Yes, London." Castiel confirmed.

"But why?" Daniela asked. She didn't understand it. They had to reach Sam and, as far as Daniela could sense, he was still in the US. But Europe?

"There's something big going on over there. Something the other hunters can't face on their own. They need your help."
Daniela looked at Dean, wondering if it really was still a good idea.

"But what about Sam?" She asked. Castiel stepped forward not that her gun was no longer pointing at him.

"It might have something to do with Sam. Going there will lead you to wherever Sam is." For some reason, this didn't fit with Daniela. Something was off about this whole ordeal. Never once did Daniela have to go to Europe to hunt something that might lead them to Sam. It seemed to suspicious but what other choice did they have.

"Fine," Daniela sighed. "I don't like it but fine. We'll go. Though, last time I checked I didn't have enough money in my bank account for backpacking through Europe." She hoped this was a good enough excuse to continue to search for Sam in the states. Castiel reached into his pocket and handed them two two-way tickets.

"These should get you there and back whenever you need to leave." He said through his raspy voice. Daniela sighed and snatched the tickets out of his hand before heading back to the car.

Dean clapped Castiel lightly on one shoulder as he passed him and ran after Daniela, stopping her by wrapping his arms around her waist. "Daniela, please don't be so grr towards Castiel... He's not exactly the best with giving you details, but he's helped me and Sam in the past, and that counts for something... He wouldn't send us off to England if it weren't going to help somehow." he released her as he finished speaking and stood straight, sighing softly and looking over one shoulder at Castiel "Regardless of the fact that he knows I hate planes, I'll survive, because we've got to go for a reason..."

Dean wrapped his arms around Daniela and she sighed in his grip. The only time Dean ever really hugged her from behind was when she was mad and wouldn't listen to anyone else the way she was at that moment. Dean knew her and she knew him. When he released her, she turned around and sighed. "Alright Dean, I'll listen."

~~~~
The flight was long but it wasn't so bad. They hit turbulence a few times, Dean still looked like he was going to faint, but, to Daniela, the flight wasn't all that bad. Castiel had told them he would meet them there. Angels didn't trust airplanes and they had a reason to.
The plane landed smoothly and the two of them rented a car. It seemed strange, at first, having to drive on the opposite side of the road on the opposite side of the car. Not to mention, the car was a little small.
"Where are we going anyway?" Daniela asked Dean.
"Turn left up here." Castiel said as he appeared. Daniela jumped and then sighed out of frustration. She hated being scared like that. "Sorry," Castiel said and turned his eyes back on the road.
"Stupid Angel," Daniela muttered to herself as she sat back. "Who are we seeing, anyway?" She asked Castiel.
"The Callahans. They need your help-"
Castiel began but was interrupted.
"With something big." Daniela finished. "We know."
"And they have information about Calcifer."
Castiel said like it was nothing. Then again, he didn't seem to have much emotion to begin with. Daniela sat back and stared out the window. Any information on Calcifer would be a huge help in finding him. Maybe going to London wasn't that bad of an idea after all.
Dean himself hadn't stopped whining since he'd seen the compact car he was going to be driving, he thought of his own car, sitting at the airport long term parking back in the US and growled softly... He already hated England and they'd been here like, five seconds... He listened silently to Castiel and Daniela and then chuckled softly as she called him a "stupid angel".
Following Castiel's directions, they soon parked and Dean turned off the car, getting out and giving a huge stretch
"I hate that car Daniela... HATE... That car..." he looked up at the houses in front of them and quirked one eyebrow as he looked at Castiel "How the hell can you tell where they live, these are all the same house... I swear, seriously, they're the same house..." he sighed and ran his hands through his hair as he waited on the other two to get out of the car and start moving
Daniela stepped out of the car and looked up at the small house. Dean was right. They all looked the same but she felt as if this one was right. She laughed when he mentioned for the millionth time how much he hated the car. He wasn't alone. Daniela hated the small car too and missed Dean's Impala. The sound of the engine, the feeling of it's ride, the smooth leather seats. She missed it all.
"Because this is the right one." Daniela said as she looked up at the house again. "This house has a different feeling than all the others." She looked at Castiel who nodded in agreement. The door suddenly burst open and an older woman smiled at the three of them.
"Don't just stand there all day. Get in here. We've got some nice hot tea waiting for you."
The woman walked back inside and Daniela turned back to Dean.
"Yup," she nodded. "Definitely the right house." Daniela walked inside the small home and looked around. It wasn't really what she was expecting. Everything was neat and tidy and put in it's proper place. You wouldn't have expected the people who lived in the small home were demon hunters. The woman who had opened the door walked into the living room with a trey for five.
"There you are. Fresh made tea. Please, will you have a seat."
Daniela sat down on the couch and was handed a cup of tea. The war liquid seemed to sooth her. The sudden rush of the time change was beginning to affect her. "You must be Dean and Daniela. My husband and I have already met Castiel. I'm Mrs. Callahan."
A man who looked to be about her father's age walked into the room with a small trey of sandwiches. "And I'm Mr. You two must be hungry. I know Castiel doesn't eat." Daniela looked around the room and noticed a few things out of the ordinary. She looked back at Mrs. Callahan.
"You're a physic." Daniela stated. The woman's aura was stronger than the man's which meant he was definitely her. The woman smiled and sat down before grabbing herself a cup.
"Yes, and I see you're one too."
She smiled and pointed at the necklace around Daniela's neck. The necklace Dean had given her recently. "But," the woman paused as if trying to piece something together, "it's not a family heirloom." Daniela looked over at Dean, remembering what had happened to her grandmother's necklace.
"No, it's not. But it's a long story." The woman nodded and placed her cup down.
"Right, perhaps another time. Right now you two must be tired from the long trip. There are rooms upstairs though take the one in the back.The front bedrooms belong to our children. I'm afraid there's only one guest bedroom."
Daniela smiled and waved it off.
"Really, it's nothing. We're just thankful you're allowing us to stay here." She sipped her tea and took a small sandwich. She didn't really realize how hungry she was until actually eating something.
"You two should get some rest." Mr. Callahan suggested. "Get a few hours of sleep before the big hunt. Then we will explain everything." Daniela didn't need telling twice. The sooner she slept, the better.
Dean looked over the couple and their home as he sat down next to Daniela, accepting the tea and taking a sip. This couple definitely wasn't what he'd expected out of a british demon hunting team... But it worked. He took a bite of one of the sandwiches and listened quietly as they explained the want for them to sleep before they'd explain what was going on in this town. Dean looked over at Daniela and then back at the Callahan's with a faint smile "Sleep would probably be preferable before we engage in anything too extreme... I've never had jet-lag this bad..." he grinned faintly and looked over at Daniela as she ate, giving her a different sort of smile, one that seemed more sad around the edges before finishing the sandwich and his tea and setting his cup back on the tray in front of him
Daniela finished her sandwich and tea and headed upstairs. She felt a good aura around the home and around the Callahans. Almost as if she felt self. When she walked into the room, the only thing she really noticed was the bed. Her mind didn't want to look at anything else. She plopped down on the bed and made herself comfortable before dozing off.
A few hours later, she woke as the sun was barely setting. She must have slept for hour though she could have slept a little longer. However, they had a job to do. The smell of home made food filled the air. Daniela left Dean in the room and walked toward the kitchen where Mrs. Callahan was cooking.
"Ah, good evening."
Mrs. Callahan smiled as she chopped up some vegetables. "Did you have a nice rest?" Daniela yawned and nodded. "While wait for your companion to come down do you mind if we have a little chat?"
"No of course not." Daniela said and sat down on of the stools.
"I know why you're here. Besides helping us, I mean. You want to find Dean's brother, Sam." Daniela nodded and continued to listen, hoping she would have some information. "Well, I don't have any thoughts on that but I do have some thoughts about Calicifer. Though, it's best we wait until Dean wakes up. Coffee?" Mrs. Callahan offered.
"Oh yes, please." Daniela said and was handed a hot cup.
"What I want to talk to you about is Dean."
Daniela stopped in mid-sip not really expecting that. She knew Mrs. Callahan was a physic that she was but she didn't expect her to really act upon it. "There's more to him than meets the eye. He needs you Daniela. More than you know." Daniela was confused. She knew Dean needed her. It was the reason why she was in London with him. They both wanted to find Sam and Daniela was going to use her gift to do so. But something was telling here it was much more than Mrs. Callahan let on.
Dean sat up in bed and looked over, running one hand over the bed where Daniela had lain, it was cool to the touch, saying she'd been up for awhile now... He sighed and slid off the bed, walking across and opening his suitcase, he pulled out clean clothes and got re-dressed, he walked downstairs in a black tanktop and jeans, following the sounds of female voices to the kitchen and smiling at Mrs. Callahan as she handed him a cup of coffee. He smiled at Daniela as well and sat down on the stool next to Daniela, taking a sip of the coffee and closing his eyes in happiness as the warmth sank into him
((I left it open somewhat so that if you wanted to continue the conversation between Daniela and Mrs. Callahan you can.))
Their conversation didn't really move on after that. She wanted to know more but all Mrs. Callahan said was "I cannot reveal things that need to be revealed themselves." As a physic, Daniela understood this but hated the answer. She wanted to know what she was talking about.
By the time Dean walked into the kitchen, Daniela was helping Mrs. Callahan finish with the cooking. They were making pot roast, steamed vegetables and homemade mashed potatoes. The kitchen was killed with all sorts of delicious aromas.
"Now that you two are both awake I can, at least, tell you what I know." Mrs. Callahan pulled out the roast beef and set it on top of the stove to breathe. "For months, young women around the same age as you Daniela have gone missing. Now I've got to where they have been kidnapped to get any sort of reading. A few weeks ago I caught wind of something different. It wasn't a demon or any other creature but, in fact, a wizard."
Mr. Callahan walked through the front door and placed his coat on the hanger. He sat down in the kitchen. "The children are at Marge's. I thought it would be best if there were somewhere safe tonight. Abigale wasn't happy since she wanted to go out with that David character. Will she sneak out the window?" He asked his wife.
"No," his wife smiled, "she'll stay put because she knows I'll catch her either way. Anyway, as I was saying, we both did our research and came across a wizard by the name of Alfos. His signature was all over each girl. Every few decades it seems Alfos comes back out to collect seven women to sacrifice. In the past, Scotland Yard have found the women tied up and cut up. Drawings of paintings drawn in blood were written all over the walls. Each decade his sacrifices were in different spots."
"We're not sure where he might be this time," Mr. Callahan continued, "but we do have a plan." Mrs. Callahan placed the roast on the table and Daniela placed the potatoes and vegetables on the table as well. "We need you, Daniela, to be the bait. You're around the same age, fit the description of all the other girls. Alfos would have to be a fool not to come after you." Daniela blinked at him.
"Why me?" She asked.
"Because,"
Mrs. Callahan said nervously, "he's already kidnapped six girls. He needs one more and, we believe, the sacrifice is done on the blue moon. That's tonight." Daniela sunk her seat, not sure of what to think of all of this.
