"Aya.... that is a strange name, Rave." Rave on hit it on the head. Sort of. It did feel awkward, but Aya wasn't going to admit that. So, she had listed the first thing of her mind. His name, Rave, was weird. What kind of name is that? Then, she noticed Noel go up thte men and talk to them. She blinked. "Wait, girl...."

Will nodded at Noel's response, and would have laughed out loud if Noel had blatantly admitted that she was a "true fat girl" at heart, or if he even knew that. The blonde said absolutely nothing to Gale's skittish attitude and to Noel's actions in walking right up to the fighting men and telling them to basically stop fighting. A small smile curved onto his face as he watched.

The men continued fighting and pushed her away. Some of them had different reactions such as:

"Ming your own business, miss."

"Oh, this one's good looking too."

"Who are you?"

"Get out of here, you b**ch! Are you one of those too?"

They wouldn't stop fighting, and one even made a grab for Noel. Will did absolutely nothing, waiting to see what would happen. He wouldn't make a move unless someone requested him to or forced him to.

Tatsuya sighed as he saw Noel go up to the men. "Hey, stop it!" he shouted to the man that had grabbed for Noel. Not the smartest thing for a girl to go up to a bunch of brawling men and just tell them to stop.

Noel was the only one that had moved in the group, and she apparently didn't need any help from any of them.

Aya had a hand to her mouth, covering her gape. She felt completely outclassed. Tatsuya was also visibly gaping, and his hand was not covering his mouth. "Will.... what's going on?" Tatsuya asked.

The smile dropped off Will's face when he saw Noel's reaction. She was displaying things that weren't humanly possible. It seemed that he had gotten more than he had bargained for. Is this what she had meant earlier on the vehicle when she mentioned that she wasn't the typical type of girl? She almost looked as if she were flying in one of her stances. And what was that with the chain glowing? "Well, isn't this interesting?" he remarked, a smile forming on his face again as he responded to Tatsuya.

One of the men landed in the dirt beside Will, and attempted to get up, but Will put a foot on his head. "Hey, stay down if you don't want to get your a** kicked around more. Besides, I don't think Ayra would be happy with you messing up her place, you know..." There was no doubt in Will's mind that Noel was strong, stronger than she physically appeared despite her innocent and trusting mentality. Noel had officially piqued his interest, and the blonde was excited. He slowly clapped his hands, assuming Noel would stop fighting when all the men were on the ground or unconscious.

Tatsuya had lost interest in Noel, and frankly, he didn't want to accidentally get killed by a girl. Monster... he thought. Why the hell was Will just smiling? Who could smile after seeing something as shocking as that? What was the girl? A demon from the legends out to destroy the world? For some reason, Tatsuya was regretting that he hadn't brought a spirit ward with him.

Aya blinked again when Noel walked back to them, as if what she had just done was no big deal. I can't... I can't compete with her if she's like that... isn't Kanra a small nothing of mountain village? She managed a weak smile, but she had sort of lost part of her appetite.

With that performance, Will was rather pleased that Noel was unhurt. Clearly, that wasn't the case for the men that had attacked her. They could clean up after themselves, even if some of them were hurt pretty badly. If they didn't move fast enough, some of Ayra's workers would surely come to kick them out of the area or "escort" them to some hospital.

Will chuckled and put an arm around Noel's back, his hand clasping her other shoulder. "What did we come here for, Noel? Lunch, of course." He lowered his voice to a whisper. "We should spar together some time alone.

He steered Noel into Ayra's lavish building, and asked for seating in the general area for six. The general area had a stage where a woman was dancing, and another was singing and playing music. The place looked pretty comfy. Menus were on the table, and the food that could be ordered covered much of Japanese delicacies and typical food. They could order pretty much anything they wanted.

Tatsuya almost breathed out sharply when Rave asked the question that he so very much wanted to ask, but hadn't mustered up the strength to. He had been trying to stare at the menu and distract himself.

Aya looked at Noel, expecting her to answer and very curious about what the girl who had just downed eight men inhumanely would say. Aya's eyes were narrowed, scrutinizing Noel's every action.

Will raised an eyebrow. "That was rude, Rave. Not table talk for lunch for a lady. Don't worry. If she somehow is either of those, as her sensei, I will train her properly."

Tatsuya frowned and furrowed his brow. "You're not a teacher, Will, so stop pretending! Why are you blocking your own friends for her?" He glared at Noel and almost just as quickly retracted himself back. "Rave's question is very reasonable, so answer it." That had come out unexpectedly. Apparently his frustration had temporarily overcome his fear and uncomfort.

And where did you learn all that?" Aya added quietly.

Tatsuya frowned. Noel was an innocent childish monster? How could she believe someone for just saying something? "He's not! What kind of sensei stands by and allows someone like you to ... do that to the men?"

She's a natural born fighter... Aya thought. It was the only thing that made sense. But still... Aya was building up her ego again, recovering from the shock. This will certainly be a challenge. In her village, she had been seen as a natural too, but not like Noel. She didn't have the strength after years of training to match the strength that Noel had displayed. That was ok. Speed and other factors could balance her out.

"Noel, they're just jealous that a new recruit shows so much potential. It's true. I'm not their sensei, but I'm yours," Will said warmly, giving Tatsuya and Rave a smile that pretty much said Shut up. He looked at Gale and Aya with a normal smile. "Now, let's order before it gets too late." If the rest of them really were uncomfortable with Noel being there, and she decided to leave, he'd probably go with her. That, of course, meant that Rave and Tatsuya would be paying their own meals.

Tatsuya opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. He didn't know how to phrase it at first. "No, it's not just that..." And then he ran out of words to say. No one had helped her, but she didn't even need them. Everyone was too busy staring at her.

Will smiled after ordering. Gee, thanks, Tatsuya... I'll remember this of course. "Special cases," Will answered. The blonde had taught before, but not really much in the city. His instruction had been to random children in the villages he had been to, and many times, it was done just to have the underdog beat the snot out of an overly arrogant bully who really wasn't as skillful as the bully thought himself or herself to be. The closest in the city he had been to being a real teacher was being forcefully assigned to be a mentor to some younger guys.

Tatsuya blinked. What? Special? Now, what?

Aya was also like Gale and Rave waiting for their orders.

Tatsuya had about the same reaction as Rave when Gale spoke. Gale had just seemed so meek and terrified he hadn't expected anything like that out of her mouth. He was at a loss of words again, but for a different reason. He had almost dropped the food he was eating before too.

Aya was surprised as well, but she definitely didn't think of Noel as a role model. She didn't know what to say. "Yes.. good competition..." she muttered almost inaudibly, taking small bites of her food.

Will had also not expected Gale to speak those words, but he smiled. It wouldn't do to scare Noel off on the first day, though it could have been potentially fun. "See? It's all good." He winked at Noel. Often, the students looked at some of their teachers either as role models or... just annoyances in education. Sometimes, the students would look back and realize that the teachers weren't so bad after all, but that was only for some students. Will nodded. "And our country relies on the strong just in case our dear emperor screws up." Will wasn't supposed to flat out badmouth the emperor because it was taboo, but he had just done it anyway.

Will smiled softly. Noel was such an innocent girl. He had thought of ruining her in a prank, but after that display, she had gained his interest. So, nothing had been done to the other girls either for the moment. Maybe he'd test her abilities some time. ...though preferably sooner than later since he was excited.

"Not a problem," the blonde responded. "Everyone? Oh, my, Noel. That's not something that anyone can do. Well, guess we'll see how things pan out."

He sighed. "But Noel, I am a little concerned about your display. If you don't mind me asking, what was that with the chains? Did you feel any pain from it?"
