"No..." Zelda gasped, seeing her vision splayed out before her, and yet again she felt completely and utterly helpless. "Why..." She was angry, now. Not just angry, but downright enraged.
Ganon leaned forward a bit, peering into the surface of a glimmering pool in front of him. The scene unfolded before him, the blue hue of the water replaced by red. A sickening smile formed upon his lips. He didn't call for this, but he liked whoever did. He stood up, deciding to pay a visit.

Tenebre slowly turned, smiling though you couldn't see it.
"Because things like 'control' and 'tidy' and basically all things humans consider good sicken me. Wait..."
He stepped towards Zelda, looking at her intently.
"You hold a power...that I want. Give it to me and your death shall be quicker than most."
He held up his larger hand, trying to absorb the energy Zelda had. With the Triforce, he could destroy all light, destroy everything. This girl could not deny what he wanted.

Zelda felt something being sucked out of her. Panicking, she looked at her hand, seeing the triforce fading. "Oh, no." her head turned back up to Tenebre, eyes complete slits. She spread her arms out, a diamond shape forming around her. This provided a temporary shield, as she brought her arms back, then pushed them out again. Another diamond shape formed, rapidly expanding in size before blowing up, sending anyone around flying backward.

Tenebre flew into a building, a large crunch heard as it collapsed on him. Suddenly the debris exploded and he was standing, a bit of an energy wave still moving out of him. He glared at Zelda.
"Now, do you prefer your organs sliced or ground up?"
He charged forward, slashing horizontally, then threw a punch with his large hand. He would then try to grab her and suck out her energy then.

Diving to the right, she managed to evade the attack from the mystery assailant. While his back was turned toward her, Zelda charged up an enormous ball of energy and sent it out, rocketing towards Tenebre at full speed. What is this thing? She thought.

Tenebre was flung into a wall as the energy cought him in the chest. Suddenly the energy dissappeared as if it never been. He rose from his hole in the wall, only minimal damage on him. He raised his hand to reveal the energy in his palm, where it winked out, sucked into him.
"You still fight, even when you cannot win. You don't even have anything to fight FOR.This town is doomed, destroyed. So will many others be, even if I am destroyed, though thats nearly impossible. As long as their is light, there is darkness. But darkness is the absence of light. When light is gone, darkness shall still remain. I win weather you win or lose. Give up now."

Sarrianna felt helpless. She cursed at herself for not bringing her bow and arrows, but there was no warning that Vaati and this thing would appear. However, she would do her best to protect the princesses.
"Back off!" she kicked out at Tenebre, furious.

A lump underneath the piles of covers shifted, and a groan emitted from it as well. Suddenly, two bare feet poked out from the masses of blankets, slipping into a weathered pair of boots sitting just below. As the figure struggled to free itself from the tangles of cloth, it slowly emerged from the mess.
Link shook his head full of blonde hair, muttering to himself as he discarded the blankets onto the floor. Scratching his neck, he stretched, pulling his tunic on and smoothing it out. He buckled his belt and sheathed his sword. Yawning, he pulled his cap over his pointed ears and sighed.
I'd much rather be adventuring right now... He shook his head and unhooked his shield from the wall. Oh I would give anything to be sleeping outside... Not in this mess of blankets... But then he remembered the dreams.
He had been plagued with these terrible nightmares for nights on end now, each one more realistic than the last. Link glanced in the mirror and swept a hand through the tangled knots in his hair. Something else caught his eye. The window had a strange cast to it that hadn't been there before.
Pushing the window open, a terrifying sight met the Hero's eyes.
The town was gone.

Tenebre felt another presence, and heard movement. He turned to see a boy dressed in all green.
"...Do you enjoy green or something? I think you should pick something less...related to life."
Tenebre saw the shock in the boy's eyes, and he was filled with sick glee. He was suddenly kicked by someone, the sound of flesh hitting metal rang through the air. He wouldn't have even noticed if it weren't for the sound. He thrust his several hundred pound sword into the ground to anchor him in case.
"Honestly, punches and kicks are so...hmm, actually, I shouldn't be saying anything."
He threw his large fist at her, its bone-shattering force laced with dark energy.

Link ran to where Zelda was, pushing past unsuspecting guards and drawing his blade. He skidded to a stop in front of Zelda with his shield raised.

Sarri flew back with a grunt, bearing through the pain with dignity. "Shadows are always defeated by light, idiot. If you didn't know that, then you will in a bit." She struggled to get up.

Tenebre laughed out loud.
"Sure, it conquers when the darkness is weak and you are fighting together."
He raised his blade, curling his talons on his right fist as he anxiously awaited his enemies' attacks, ready to torture them.

"Link! I'm so glad you're here, maybe the... three? ...Of us can stop this crazy thing." Zelda breathed a sigh of slight relief, happy to have another friend fighting by her side. Yet she was worried, her sister was nowhere to be seen. She couldn't draw her attention away from the fight, though.
She took another look at the maniacal behemoth, trying to find some weak spot. This being had caused a lot of damage to her homeland, damage she hoped could be repaired. "It absorbs energy... Some of my magic attacks are rendered useless." She told Link, frowning and stepping out from behind him.

Tenebre smiled and lashed with his sword, bringing it down hard before dashing forward to body-check them. He would then jump back to fire energy. It was simple, but effective.
"No attacks will defeat me, no matter the element, or if its magic. Give up now, or I'll kill you when you don't have the energy to resist."

Why would we give up now if he'd kill us anyway?! Zelda thought, tumbling back from the force of the sword. She'd much rather be battling Vaati; at least she knew how to deal with him. Speaking of Vaati... Where was he? Oh no... he could be running rampant, causing more trouble...
Quickly she got up again, composing herself and decided what to do. It may not help, but it was sure worth a shot. Zelda formed a similar diamond shape; only this one emanated a bright white light. Shadows are always defeated by light... She pushed it outward again, just like she did before, the blinding light growing stronger as it reached Tenebre.

Tenebre hissed and covered his eyes from the light. He was blown back and he hit a wall hard. He quickly got up and grabbed his sword, but it felt a bit odd in his smaller sword hand. He looked to where the blast hit him and saw a small crack, energy very slowly trickling out of it. Slight worry grew in his eyes, but it faded away. It wasn't too bad, it'll be repaired quickly.
He glanced up at Zelda with hate in his eye. He jumped back, covering the wound.
"Damn you..."
He ran forward, energy pouring out even faster. He reached to crush Zelda in his grasp while thrusting he sword towards Link.

Link skipped to his right while twirling his sword. He lashed out at his opponent's sword arm, trying to push it away as he pushed Zelda with his shoulder. "Move!" he growled through clenched teeth and raised his shield. Beaten and battered as it was, he was sure it could hold several more blows.

Sarri tried to move, tried to seek out where her bones had broken possibly. She couldn't feel her left arm more than just a tingle of pain that shot down it. Red potion... she thought bitterly as she began to black out. ...and I can't do anything! She hated feeling so helpless, so desperate...
