"The wise Sir Bedivere was the first to join King Arthur's knights, but other illustrious names were soon to follow: Sir Lancelot the Brave...Sir Galahad the Pure...and Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir Lancelot, who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor, who had nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol, and who had personally wet himself at the Battle of Badon Hill...and the aptly named Sir Not-Appearing-in-this-Film. Together they formed a band whose names and deeds were to be retold throughout the centuries: the Knights of the Round Table!" Okay, that was random. And I didn't even have to look up a word of that! mrgreen

"What, a swallow carrying a coconut?" "Perhaps if he grips it by the husk..." "It's not a question of where 'e grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five-ounce bird cannot carry a one-pound coconut!"

"I built this kingdom up from nothing! When I started here, all there was was swamp. All the other kings said I was DAFT to build a castle in the swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em! It sank into the swamp. SO, I built a second one! That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one! That burned down, fell over, and then sank into the swamp, but the fourth one...STAYED UP! And that's what you're gonna get, lad...the STRONGEST castle in these isles!" Okay, it's official: I have watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail ENTIRELY too many times! I think I have at least half the movie memorized! blaugh (And no, I didn't have to look up this quote or the coconut one either, although I think I might have messed up the coconut one a little. sweatdrop )

Alvin: "Good heavens! What an awful thing to have happened!" Theodore: "We know THAT, you little pipsqueak! NOW what're we gonna do?" Simon: "I know! We'll get rid of the piano! That way, Dave'll never know!" Alvin: "Why, Simon! That would be dishonest!" Simon: *laughs diabolically* --from the Alvin and the Chipmunks (duh! wink ) episode entitled "Every Chipmunk Tells a Story"

TV Announcer (Terry Jones): "It's just past eight o'clock, and time for the penguin on top of your television set to explode." *BOOM!* Housewife (either John Cleese or Graham Chapman, I can't remember which one): "How'd he know it was going to do that?" TV Announcer: "It was an inspired guess."

(John Cleese and Michael Palin are portraying two Frenchmen who are showing off their sheep airplane. They are passing a fake mustache back and forth, and only the one wearing the mustache can speak) Michael Palin: "Mais...ou sont les bagages? Ou sont les voyageurs?...Gaspard!" *hands mustache to John Cleese, who puts it on his own face* John Cleese: "Merci! Les bagages! Les voyageurs! Ils sont...ici!"

Mademoiselle Alvinette Chibi, I'm praying for your Mimi. That's your grandmother's sister, right? That's right. They think she had a small heart attack this morning, but she's already on heart medicine, so there's nothing they can really do except keep her under observation. She's doing okay, but she's still pretty weak. So, my Mimi is staying with us for a few days. We would like her to move in with us so we can take care of her, but she won't do it. It worries me having her live by herself. @Snow - Thanks and congrats! heart Btw - I LOVE the Python quotes! xd

Ugh now knowing the sit, better, i really do hope things work out for the best. and perhaps you can persuade her into staying with you by explaining why you are worried and what not? if you haven't already that is. I found with ppl though to get them to agree or understand is a matter of how you word what you say.
