Andreas does the sensible thing, and pockets the dry-erase marker, and one of the Bagel Bites just in case he needs them later. Whatever situation he seems to have gotten himself into, it may require a little resourcefulness, and he doesn't want to be ill-prepared. Now for the final puzzle: the door. He walks up to the portal, and jiggles the handle; locked, as he suspected. This key is suspicious though. He slides it into the most obvious key-hole, and turns. To his relief, the key works. He inhales slightly as he turns the knob, and opens the door to whatever lies beyond.

What he sees addles him slightly.

You're, really, very welcome. I'm having a lot of fun here too. If you think the latest frame is a little sadistic, then you should see some of the whoppers of ideas I've got in store for Andreas.

Andreas first thinks to walk across the hall and examine the message, but given that the situation seems to have gotten dangerous, he takes the initial precaution of looking all around himself first.

Straight up is a rather trivial affair. The ceiling is made of foam tile held together by metal frames. The lights are public-building-standard, frosted plastic plate covering up florescent tubes.

Down the west passage, there are more red spatters on the wall, and two more doors. beyond that is a heavy door.

From what Andreas can see through the window in the door, to the north is another classroom, this one seems to be more heavily furnished then the one he was just in. He can see a spatter of red, which leads him to believe the vandal has been doing his morbid graffiti in there as well.

To the east, Andreas first notices that there is a giant cave-in blocking about half of the next segment of hallway. The second thing that he notices is a human figure, crouched over more red smears. The figure is definitely another living person.

Andreas decides not to check the message right now.

Andreas snakes around the corner back into the room he woke up in, and arms himself with the heaviest weapon he has. He waits like that for a while, occasionally poking his eyes around the corner to check if the other person is coming down the hall. Eventually it becomes apparent that they are just outside; stopped between the doors.

Andreas knows he's male, slightly shorter then himself, but about the same build. Andreas hasn't observed the other man do anything violent or rash.

Andreas takes a silent breath and makes a quick decision. He folds around the door frame, and holds The Stapler high, and threatening. "Who are you?" He says, a determined look in his eyes.

The newcomer holds his hands up to show he has no weapons, and says "Please don't hurt me! I'm terrified!"
