Darth_Gently In my school we have the typical, whiny bitchy emo kids. They whine and make bad jokes. They listen to Hawthorne Heights (Sucks) and My Chemical Romance (Sucks as well). I hate them, as a person and 'emo' or whatever the hell it is, as a culture. Also, really, no one has ever met an "Emo kid" because thats an idea made from stereotypes, and no one is a stereotype except as a character.

Well... I accually wouldn't say I'm "Emo" more like a mixture of emo, punk, and goth. I'm not really into the whole black hair crap, because on me it would look like I purposely dyed it, and that's just bull s**t.

I don't have a problem with the things that are stereotipically emo. It's only when people do them to fit in, look cool, and get attention that I have a real problem with them.

Emo's been around for quite a long time (just as the Goth subculture has). I always wonder if the folk who say they hate emo kids also hate the emo adults or people who are in their thirties, writing music or organising clubs and so on...

emo TO ME is someone who wont shutup about their problems and sit complaining and not attempt to fix whatever is bothering them, unless i ask them whats bothering them thats different -.-

I dont like emo haters, cuz usually emos dont hate goths, so why should we be mean to them? cuz everyone else hates us and we feel that we have no one to hate? Because they're style is sometimes similar to our own?
I dont personally mind emos, most dont even follow the trend that emos are suppose to (and some are pretty hot)
