I'm sorry that I've not been very active/when I'm on, and been kind of irritated/snippy at you all. I really just want to help you all avoid the mistakes I made when I first started drawing ><;;

This isn't really a lesson, but more of a continuing assignment. I want you all to start journaling. I don't mean the traditional kind of journaling, where you write, but a journaling kind of like this.. This is a highly customizable assignment; you don't have to do watercolor, you can do just pencil, do it with color pencils, markers, charcoal, or even do it digitally with programs like Photoshop. Whatever you want to do. On that website, it tells you to write, but that could be optional; I do it without writing a page or two, because I am now capable of drawing and painting without thinking about anything, and just letting the brush and pencil flow on the paper.

I have done this before, and since I've decided to do it more often, I'd thought I'd make an assignment of sorts. I'm going to be doing it at least three times a week in order to prepare for college and so I get motivation to finish my AP art concentration v.v

You all, however, only have to do it once a week. If you write, you don't have to post the writing alongside the art, but if you want to I can't stop you.

This assignment will carry on throughout the rest of the lessons; in other words, please continue to do this once a week alongside the lessons.

Here's a really helpful tut on making your own sketchbook. The best thing about these sketchbooks is that you can add and subtract pages without tearing ^.^

Do you think you use a darker and slightly larger font? I had to quote it to see it v.v;

It's kind of like that, but you can't let any thoughts come to you as you draw it. I think it's kind of like meditating, and find it very relaxing ^^

I'm going to try and make my own journal today with some cardboard, some ribbon, and some cloth biggrin

The color is ok, you can make it larger and I would be able to see it better. ^^;

Arts and crafts is fun, I got to use (and threaten someone with) an exacto knife XD
I ended up using some wallpaper material instead of cloth, but it's thick enough to work. ^^

It's takes some practice to not think while drawing, especially if you're used to listening to music while drawing. I've gotten used to it, and I actually got all three of my journals done at school, two of which were done in pre-cal >_>;
I'm probably going to do some tomorrow night XD

That's one of my favorite things to do, just stay up until who-knows-when and let my brush flow on the paper. Some of my previous journals where actually done without penciling, I just went straight to watercolor >>

It definitely gets easier with practice biggrin

What's cool is that I can blank out my mind, do the journal thing, take notes, and actually remember what the notes where about XD

Pre-cal for my school is mostly review for ACT stuff, which I'm already done with >_>;

Don't want to take another one, I'll stick with what I got v.v;

From what I've heard, the SAT and the ACT are roughly the same, though the SAT may be slightly harder due to the format v.v;
It all depends on what college you want to go to. Most colleges will take ACT scores, however, some colleges won't so it's up to you to figure out which will and which won't.

The science part of the ACT has no real science work v.v

It's mostly just reading tables, reading graphs, guessing correctly. Even the help guides you can buy say that >_>
