I totally had a crush on Elijah Wood. I think he's currently doing kids shows. Well that's what I saw him doing last. My jaw dropped!
There has not yet been a trailer posted. Thanks!

I tend to like Tim Burton movies so I'm looking forward to seeing this, changes aside. 124-C wakusei Kerrigan_dragon ........ I'm just gonna ignore that bit about Lord of the Rings there. Me too... xp This. ...Tom Bombadil... sad I will try to retrain myself too... *Goes and hugs new LotR boxset for comfort* The lack of Tom Bombadil is both disappointing and relieving. His awesomeness could not possibly be done justice on the screen. xp pickle relish Just go ahead and call them boobs already, Tsuj. xd rofl In terms of how they have done Anne Hathaway up for this role, it is bugging me that they have kept her eyebrows dark... Marilyn Manson is also working on his own movie about Lewis Carrol...

aretoo And again, this ISN'T Alice in Wonderland OR Through the Looking-Glass, but a sequel, and I don't yet know what bits they're picking from which for their narrative. smile It being a...threequel? just comes off to me as Burton saying "See??? I can make all the changes I want 'cause I'm not adapting the story! It's ~*my own creation*~"
Booo.

@Ala: Marilyn Manson scares me. ;____________; He would be the monster in my dreams if I wasn't more scared/worried about other things going bump in the night.

Booo.Maybe, maybe... but I'm willing to see where it goes. After all, there's been plenty of good stories from taking something established and saying, "What if...". Wicked from Gregory Maguire turning The Wizard of Oz on its head, for example. smile

blaugh I can't wait to see it. I have high hopes for this movie. The style looks beautiful! And the actual books were pretty strange, so I think they'll really do justice to them.
The cat looks awesome, the Queen of Hearts looks so cool...gaaah I can't wait to see it. whee So many awesome-looking movies this year.

You forgot the caterpillar... ninja @Terra — I suppose you're right about Tom... They couldn't even pull off the spider, so I guess Tom would have been too much awesomeness for them. Do you remember when they had the big a** spider in there and all the Harry Potter fans were bitching about them stealing the idea? That was pretty funny....

I never heard about the Harry Potter fans bitching. Wish I had known some, I would have beat them over the head with the 20 year old book!
