Nila laughed. ^_^ "It's okay, everyone's screaming here all the time. So, are you the new person I've heard so much about?" Word traveled fast around here.

The girl's comment made Livi's blood run cold. "Y-Yeah, I guess." She said and rubbed the back of her neck, laughing a little.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I haven't introduced myself. I'm Nila Varens," she held out a hand for Livi to shake.

"Oh, uh, I'm Livi Hawkins." She responded and shook the girl's hand, but the hairs on the back of her neck stood up as if something wasn't right.

Nila gave one quick shake for a split second and then let go. In that split second, she had seen Livi's entire soul. Whatever Livi knew, she knew now too. "So do you need help being shown around?" Only one thing disturbed Nila and that was the way Livi mistrusted her. She needed to build that trust...for later.

"Well, I planned on finding 'my' house, but I suppose it won't hurt to have a peek around the place first." Livi said, smiling at the other.

"Perfect," Nila said, smiling, "This way please," she started walking towards the human-part of Nightmare.

Livi nodded and followed after Nila, watching her carefully.

"So where do you live currently?" Nila asked, even though she already knew the answer. It'd be bad if she made Livi suspicious.

"Here. . . . I guess." Livi said with a small shrug.

Melantha screamed bloody murder. "What the hell are you doing to me?!" She struggled and fought viciously.

Nila laughed. "No, no! Your house! You know, the roof over your head?" she gestured one of her hands over her head, portraying a roof.

"Errr. . . . Well, Jarrel gave me a house on Silent Street. It's the third one on the left?" She said, trying to recall.

"Oh! I know exactly where that is! Right this way!" Nila led Livi right down through the streets of Nightmare and in front of the house. "This is it," ^^
