◘~Jayce Elder~◘ Jayce ponded why she touched her glass to his, but decided not to ask. "Perhaps," He sipped his drink before he began again, "But it all depends on your perspective of fun." His eyes seemed to have a smile of their own as his grin grew wider.
llOOC: Tis okay. Jayce and Kuro are actually a few hours ahead of your character though.ll

Kuro laughed again. "Yeah I suppose it does depend on that." She gazed out at the dance floor as more people began to arrive, the nice thing about the Red Moon was its acceptance of any and all strange beings in the world. Not three feet from where she stood a wraith all dressed in her gauzey black gown and sipping a golden liquid was staring at her with cloudy gray eyes.
Kuro tipped her head at the creature with an ironic smile. Wraith's tended to dislike vampires due to the fact they couldn't exert the feeling of death and decay on them...seeing as how they were already dead. The wraith woman turned away with a sigh that sent shivers up all those non-vampires within the vicinity.
Kuro giggled. "I love this place."

◘~Jayce Elder~◘Jayce spotted a pair of vampires out on the dancefloor. Looking closely, he dropped his glass. "Can't be. . . . can it?" He murmured to himself. They looked far too much like his parents whom he had only seen a few times before they had abandon him. Surely they were much wiser than to return here after all these years.

Kuro gave a start when the glass shattered on the floor and turned to stare at Jayce. He was peering intently out on the dance floor. "Is something the matter?" She asked leaning closer to him so he would hear. "You look...undecided?" She murmured.

◘~Jayce Elder~◘"I think I just found my parents." Jayce said somewhat horrified and confused. He stared at them abit longer before the female vampire turned her head, staring back. She seemed to freeze in place because he partner could not get her attention til he looked towards what she was staring at. Jayce's face paled, if it were even pissibly, and stood there like a deer in headlights.

Kuro felt a sudden surge of protectiveness for her young vampire friend. She glared venemously at the two vampires as they clearly looked for a way to escape the situation, she bared her fangs in a vicious smile. "Why dont we go say hullo?" She asked in an icy tone.

◘~Jayce Elder~◘"O-Ok-kay." Jayce stammered, not noticing her tone. It sadden him to see that they were obviously trying to run away. They had abandon him as a young child to fend for himself in a world full of so much danger. Something dark grew inside him. One would call it rage, but this was so far beyond that. It would have consumed a weaker being, chewing them up and spitting them out like filth.

She grinned at him and advanced on the vampires who were now watching them warily. Kuro sauntered up to the female and eyed her up and down with obvious distaste. "You know I knew vampires were cruel but I thought they at least had the decency to raise their children." She said in an icy drawl watching the womans pale cheeks flush with anger.
She turned and glanced at Jayce. "Clearly you did him a favour though, at least he wasnt raised as a coward to run away when trouble shows up." Now the man was turning as red as his wife. The woman hissed and flung herself at Kuro who had been prepared for a violent answer. She grabbed the womans arm and pulled her over her hip sending her flying behind her to land uncermoniously on her back with a loud thud.
Other patrons of the club were watching with interest now as Kuro yawned and smiled lazily at the woman.

◘~Jayce Elder~◘Jayce watched as a conflict began. Approaching the scene, he rested a hand on Kuro's shoulder. "Don't." He said and held out his other hand to his mother whom was on the floor. The woman looked up at him, "Why?" Her velvet voice was sweet like honey, but the sound pierced Jayce's heart. "Because you are my mother." He said simply and pulled her up once she took his hand. He seemed to be the pitting image of The female's partner, but the coloring of the eyes and hair were different, and Jayce had a thinner build. "I'm sorry, Jayce." The male vampire said taking his wife into his arms, "We just couldn't do it." Jayce chuckled softly and shook his head, "You mean you just didn't want to raise a burden like me." The couple looked at each other, frowning. "That's not true," The woman spoke, "We had a large group of hunters after us, we were putting you in danger by having you with us." The other began, "You were about three years old when we left you at the doorstep of a Priest, hoping he would raise you right."
llOOC: Jayce's parents are up for anyone's control, so don't worry about making them do stuff, but nothing too crazy. heh. ll

Kuro looked from Jayce to his parents and eased into a more relaxed position her face unreadable. It was not her place to point out they might be lying to save their own skins. Instead she remained silently stepping a few feet behind Jayce to watch impassively.

◘~Jayce Elder~◘Jayce chuckled softly, "Well, I do remember the Preist, quite a meal he was." He looked to the parents, both just staring at him in shock. "Mr. Laris was our friend," The woman said shaking her head. "Oops, my bad then." Jayce just shrugged, not really caring at this point. They had left him and because of that, they lost their friend. "Well, I'm sorry to say that I just really can't believe you." He folded his arms across his chest. "You left me and never came back, what does that say to a young child who's left all alone, trying to survive without guidance from the people who are supposed to love and care for them?" He asked, his tone suddenly harsh and icy. "I know we were wrong to just leave you, but we never meant to do that to you." The woman said touching his shoulder. Jayce brushed her hand off of him. "Quit telling me lies you dirty wench. You have no idea what I went through." He hissed backing away. "Don't speak to your mother like that!" The male growled. "Mother? Mother?! I have no mother and no father." Jayce said before grabbing Kuro's hand. "Let's go." He said as he gently pulled her along, away from the couple. "Jayce!" The woman called out, but Jayce ignored her. They meant to abandon him.
