oooo.... getting testy are we... laughs lyssan, dropping the bo and snatching up a pair of nunchukas.... she gives them a tentative twirl and smiles wickedly... hooks are so much fun... but easy to grab... yes?.....

lyssan merely rolls towards him rather than away.... and he is forced to shorten his swing or take off a tentacle.... she swings one of her nunchucks hard at his arm snaring it and dragginbg him along with her as she moves... throwing him off balance...

so she releases the nunchunk and attempts tp grab for his wrist.... twisting the wrist out and away from her, still moving in, rather than away... old fighting trick... move inside the weapon's arc... it's less effective that way... just pray like heck that they are distracted by the move tho... cause it's kind of dangerous in a real fight.... especially if yer opponent has a short blade in his other hand.... ummm... i assumed both blades are the same length... right... or did i just make a big mistake.... blaugh

*She realizes her mistake when she sees the four spikes welded to the hilt of the sword*
Note: Ly...hookswords typically have circular hilts, much like a chakram, with four spikes on them....to prevent or counter just such a maneuver...

Note: Kids...don't try that moive at home...more than one person has broken leg, foot, hip, or all of the above trying this maneuver...it's tricky.

fox stays low to the ground and reaches blindly in the direction of her bo... finding it she lashes out at his leg... it's a wild uncontrolled move, but it should connect....

grunting with relief she jumps to her feet and holds her bo in a guarding position, watching cautiously.... are ye ok... she asks worriedly.... (many a duel has gone sour by someone falling for one of the easiest tricks in the book.... and she's fallen for it a time or two... enough to play it cautious...)
