I just joined this guild so here goes ... Hi, my name is Isolde and I am passionate about water quality issues. Water preservation is important but it is only a tiny piece of the big picture. I live in the Mississippi River watershed (specifically the upper Mississippi River Valley). When rain falls in the watershed it eventually ends up in the river. It also takes with it anything it picks up along the way from fast food wrappers (seriously! how hard is it to throw away your trash) to lawn fertilizers and pesticides. I work in a field where I can directly impact water quality. So what do you say guys? Ready to help me out. Turning off the tap when you brush your teeth is a good start but continue your good works by picking up trash in your watershed to help keep Earth's water ways clean.

hi everybody. I like rock/metal or any variations on those genres. Too many to list them all. And crazy enough my dad is a importantish researcher on the effects of global warming on plants. cool So I know a lot of stuff about that

I am cshell, trying my best to live green and teach my family the same. We recycle, grow some of our own food, buy local, and shop at thrift stores most of the time. I am new on Gaia, so if you have any info on making my visits here more fun, left me know. I will try to post new things I learn about loving our planet...can't wait to chat!! mrgreen

Hi my names Bex. I've been abit of a hippi since 2004 lol...I'm a veggie and I have my own garden box on my balcony. I do what I can and have been in my share of protest in my area over the years.

Hello I'm Rachelle I have been taking environmental classes for the last few years and love to try out new things to help the environment.
I love vegetarian foods So if you have any awesome recipes send them my way!!!
@Tussies- your not to old at all. I'm 20 and i plan to stay on gaia for a long time still.
