xXLittleLostAliceXx I feel about it the same way i feel about hunting. It doesnt benifit the hurt party in any way so its wrong. you wanna test it be your own guinea pig and leave the real ones in peace but hunting has so many benefits, like getting rid of invasive species and keeping other animal populations down because their natural predater died off for some reason or another

xXrockin_coyoteXx why test on cute little animals that did nothing wrong?!  why not test on criminals ?  heart I agree that we shouldn't test on animals they did nothing wrong to us. But I do think testing on criminals is also wrong. Some of those "Criminals" Are people who made mistakes in there lives and also deserve a second chance. And some of those people have families, how would you feel if your mom or dad did something wrong and was sent to prison and just about when they were going to get out you find out that they are being used for testing. What if they were allergic to something in that test and died? How would you feel? Theres a book like that...It's called "The Supernaturalist" in the beginning its about Orphans being tested on 24/7...and then other things happen.

I'm not too keen with the testing on criminals or cloning... But all I know is, WE HAVE ENOUGH COSMETICS! Come on, all the cheerleaders allready have their makeup to paint on their face. I think animal testing should be strictly for neccesary medical testing ONLY. Testing cosmetics on animals is kind of useless anyways, because they don't always have the same reaction as humans would. It's just disturbing to me how some people can be so selfish, not caring how many animals are dying, only caring if they can use the "best makeup ever".

yes animal testing is helpful to us. But wat about the animals. Why do they need to be messed with and killed frm stuff we want. I agree with cloning or stem celled research. thnks to whoever said that. Animals have lifes to. wat if they tested on us how would we feel. Even though i dont think the could. I say stop animal testing.

Test on animals, or test on humans? Big question. I know that during the veitnam war AGENT ORANGE was tested on soliders, without their knowledge, leading to deformities and complications in the children they fathered. This for Bio or chemical warfare.
So, the question needs to be asked, "what are we unwittingly taking" food additives, preservatives.
Scientists are telling us, that if we eat to much of this or the other, or not enough of this, we could get cancer....well why the heck are they manufacturing or producing stuff like that then putting on the market then!
Because....it boilings down to profit....the almighty dollar.

As for testing on criminals I believe this is not a great idea, come on guys for starters think how many "criminals" our in jail for doing exactly what were doing right now, for rioting for this cause, for rioting for greater causes.but as for animals I think it should be restricted to the necessaries in medical and scientific research looking back on history how many revolutionary breakthroughs have occurred from animal testing ,a lot. Cosmetics is a no and if you feel deeply on this matter just don't buy the products and get them to change for lack of business. As for a substitute tester how about volunteers, like donating organs people will step forward.

We Lie Awake -Breakdown- Animals should definitely NOT be tested on. I admit, though, sometime testing on animals can benefit the human race, but why sacrifice another race that's just as beautiful and beneficial? totally agree!! spread the word girl.
