All of our rooms are allways clean, the biggest thing we've had was a mute from someone who graduated a few years ago.

Dear don't get me started with our old band room there wasn't much but still
over the years I found a bottle of orange juice that belonged to a friend that moved to Alaska.
But its usually the Band buses that can get pretty nasty.

Nintendo Punk 05 Heh... i was reading though this thread and i was waiting to see how long it would take for the first person to fess up and say that they found a used condom in their bandroom. It always happens, we all know it. We really though never found anything in our band room, considering the fact that we never cleaned the thing, not once.... I'm pretty cerain it wasn't used but it was opened. some kids and the bd in middle school found it in the instrument cubby room when I was in 7th grade. needless to say the cubby room was locked after that until the person who put it there was found or fessed up. They didn't if I remember right.

tragicXdragonfly Every year, the first day of the concert band season consists of completely cleaning the band room, instrument trailer, uniform room, and guard hallway. This year, our Band Director wanted it to be as clean as it was when it was first built (unlikely). So, we dove in and started cleaning. But as we cleaned we found some pretty odd things: ~An entire music folder with tons of bite marks from mice. ~Random shirts from senior's freshman year. ~4 bras - All belonging to the same person.~A stash of about ten toy guns with darts. ~M & M dispenser that looked like a gumball machine. ~Water jugs still full of water from band camp. ~A cup that used to be full of Dr. Pepper - now moldly.~Our Drum Major's underwear from TWO years ago ><~Endless packs of sunflower seeds ~Ten pairs of flip-flops all belonging to the same person. ~A driver's liscense belonging to a kid that graduated three years ago. Hmm that's about it. If you were to completely clean your band room - what sort of things would you find? ...that is DISTURBING. I'm SCARED to clean out my bandroom. If we ever had to, I'd cry. x.x

-a sock monkey
-three shoes all different
-half of a sandwich
-a bag of peanuts that were totally black
those are the weird things

Lots of Dot Books(where we write down our drill)

of course underwear... and shoes and we find a lot of random socks. I can't remember what else, we don't clean that often

When I was in 8th grade, we were cleaning the band room and I found a lot of this clay stuff.
I made a little person out of it and named him Pablo.
I stuck a leaf in his head to make it look like he was part of some African tribe... and to make it look like he had a hat...
That same night I went to my friends house and I brought him with me in a plastic container that we used as his house.
My OTHER friend decided he would kill it by breaking it in half and placing it in the middle of the street.
Really stupid story, I know.

Uh...ok, this is some stuff found durring the marching band season:
-4 books
-10 assorted food wrappers
-1 banana
-1 beat up mute
-3 valve oils
-20 mardi-gras beads
-2 pairs of sunglasses
-5 F.O.B. sweatshirts
-3 unmatching socks
(and that wasn't even 1/2 of it!)

-used condoms (stupid people using our practice rooms >.<)
-a lawn gnome
-mini plastic toy saxophone
-a person in a tuba case (XD bari player curled up in it to scare the tuba player as a practical joke when she opened it)
-moldy reeds
-note cards about the history of sideshow freaks
-wooden raccoon
-stash of pop bottles (director threw them out by the arm-full)
yeah...can't think of much else right now >.>

One day the band hall was stinking so bad and we couldn't place where the smell was coming from. Then we checked one of the quint's cases and we found a crock pot. It was full of old, moldy stew that had curdling cheese floating on top.
Oh and recently we found a dead racoon in the ceiling. We think someone put it up there as a joke, but we still haven't found the culprit.

Um... about a million pairs of shoes, coke bottles, papers, hair pins, empty glitter-spray bottles, condom packages (don't ask, i don't know), and about a million other odds and ends...

we found a pair of shoes once with some socks so sweaty that they stood by themselves in the shape of a foot. the strange thing was that WE DON'T HAVE A MARCHING BAND!!! also once the class room smelled funny once then a couple days later we found a moldy limberger cheese wrapper.

well my BD is a jerk so we don't have a messy band room actually and that really surprises me becouse the advanced band (also known as Marching band) the begging band both classes ( the little kids just learning to play) the choir and the guard team all adding up to be about
over 200 people fit in this reallly small room (not all at once) but it is like spot less no mess anywher except competition that you might possibly find poopy underware
