By this time Aeon had detected two shards of the stone. "um...two shards detected, though you won't like where they are"

"It was the Sage who sealed it away the first time." Pakkun looked at Aeon. "where are they?"
(Sure. We'll just say that Sasuke was able to cut out an eye which Sakura saved for Kakashi if he went blind due to his mangekyo)
(Oh, and don't forget, Aeon and Obito both have a shard, though Aeon's is a larger piece)

Aeon takes the map and marks the two spots. "one is lodged into the hokage monument and the other..." This was the hard one. "the other is where the Root headquarters was...though in this time..."

"Anyway, about those shards, I can help you get to the one in the hokage monument, but I may need directions to these Root headquarters. As far as I know, nothing like it exists. Of course, I haven't gotten out much, recently."

"If Sai is now friends with Naruto and Sakura, then we can convince him to get the shard for us. He's apart of roots and knows where it is. I think the base is somewhere far below the village, but I'm not sure.

"Yeah, well that's going to change. Get some rest, kid." Pakkun parked his butt near the map to study it as well. It had been many years since he last saw the village as such.
"Obito, you're responsible enough for me to trust you out on your own. You can tour the village and get to know it better if you wish, just don't interact with your parents. I don't want any chanses of you dissapearing or something because of something you say or do."

"I understand, while I'm out I'll take a stroll to the hokage monument and see if I can get that shard." He clenched his fist and smiled even though the others couldn't see it. Before stepping out of the door he turned to pakkun and pointed to his ear. "If you need me, howl. It won't matter how loud it is, I can hear your howl thanks to father." He stepped out and vanished.
