Am I odd for not being bothered by Navi, or for somehow liking her more than Tael?
And there was an actual solution to the grunting noises, but we'd have to go back to A Link to the Past for that. They replaced it with sword noises. I personally preferred that to the "hah"s and the "hyah"s, but that's just me.

Well, as I stated before, Navi was too mechanical in my oppinion. She wouldn't have been so bad if her character were better developed. And the total absence of the sounds are somewhat of a bad idea. Swinging a sword is not the easiest thing to do, and doing it for a while really invites fatigue to settle in. I just find the idea of Link staying completely silent during battle as weird.
If this disturbs you, then walk away.

The truth is that Link is a mute telepath, which explains why he never says anything, yet can hold a conversation. Also, he might be crazy, since he eats hearts.

Erverain Am I odd for not being bothered by Navi, or for somehow liking her more than Tael? No not at all. (It's Tatl you get in MM. Tael is the little black fairy that Tatl loses, he's her little brother.) At least Navi would tell you what enemy weaknesses were. Tatl would just talk down to you for even asking.

..pfft, Navi. There was a Navi at Otakon, complete wih "Hey listen!" and "Look!" sign.
Hmm... Annoying character lines? As amusing as Air Gear is, there's some pretty annoying lines repeated and in RHPS, despite being one of the most amazing things ever, a majority of themes can get annoying very quickly.

Hm...catch phrases that get me annoyed?
"WAAAZZZUUUPPP?!" This was my brother's voice mail greeting for years.
"Believe it!" (Naruto could make a decent drinking game with that...Thal's Anime Catch Phrase Drinking Game, anyone want to play? The game ends when the catch phrase starts sounding good.)
"We be jammin'..." or what ever it was that animal (frog?) in the Starfox game was saying during the missions. I often let him die because of it.
"I'll be back" or any variation of this. We all know once you say this you're gone. Especially on a Scifi channel "original" movie.

It was almost three, but Klavier is hot so he's barely forgivable. (Minus a few points for the fake-a** tan) - Any one of Franziska's rants about fools. Just pick one. - Manfred von Karma's objections. It gets really annoying and frightening very fast.
