i got an invitation for a application- interview^^

I am pretty busy at work - just came home from a 12 hour day (I only get paid for 8, no over time) and how do they repay me? With a letter saying that they've incorrectly paid my superannuation and that I owe $760.99 and that much per quarter from now on. In other words, I just got a pay cut of around $3000 a year. It would have been nice to have known this BEFORE I got my second mortgage.

My poor cat has been in a fight too - I have just shaved and cleaned his wound, but I'm sure it needs stitches.
*sighs* Here comes another vet bill.

On a happier note, my boss was asking me if I wanted to apply for a promotion - I said yes of course! I don't think he was expecting me to want one so soon (I've only been at my current work since the start of the year), but I think I need the promotion to get the kind of work that I'm interested in (plus considering my finances at the moment, a little extra pay wouldn't hurt!)

I've just picked my cat up from the vet. He's still dopey, but it's nice to have him home.
The best part - the vet put in dissolvable stitches so he doesn't need to go back to get them out!

Yep, it's that time of year!!
Which is the bigger event, Christmas or Thanksgiving?

For my family, I guess Christmas. We have some Polish-Catholic heritage which means there's some stuff you're supposed to observe on Christmas eve...then we also cook a huge meal on Christmas (or eat crab, depending) and have a tree and presents and all that goodness. Since my family is small, Thanksgiving is just a few of us eating a lot of (really good) food. smile

I spent a good while writing a scene for my current work in progress story yesterday, was pleased with what resulted and called it a night. That scene isn't in the file now for some reason.
