Dudes! (And Dudets!)
I am BEYOND pissed! Today we have were going to rehearse for the fall show from 07-08, meaning that "Bob" (my big pain in the a$$) gets to come bak into the cymbal line. I've accepted that, but what I cannot stand is him going into the drum room and taking my new cymbals!!!!!!!
He took mine! Of course I want going to let that happen, so when I was about to yell at him, the section leader for drumline (i say this because there are seperate ones for pit), came and took me away, as well as my winter season cymbal caption (who is not playing a horn). I was beyond pissed, and I bet my caption would have been too if "Bob" was messing with his cymbals!
GAH! I do not want "Bob" ANYWHERE near my precious new, shiny cymbals! I don't even want him to look at them! He's not worthy!!!!

PMFG! There is this stupid stuck-up conceited b***h that everyone in band hates! Seriously everyone hates her! Even her beset friend! Her best friend still loves her and all, but she wants her out of band! This girl is called Sabrina and she is a flute in our band. She commands everyone like she's the conductor! When the conductor or the student band director wants everyone to quiet down, she goes, "SHHHHHHHHH! EVERYONE! SHUSH IT!" She thinks she is soo funny too! I'm in percussion and all 6 of us were acting all stupid for a joke (the joke was that we danced to the song we were playing since all of us were resting at the time and this was independent warm-ups. Everyone simultaneously played this one song and we were dancing on our rest.) Anyway we were dancing and all of a sudden she makes her loud point that "They are so stupid and retarded." Everyone heard in the room and ppl stopped playing! GEEZ! CAN SHE BE ANY BITC*IER? Today our violin player found her jacket and threw it in the trash the day that the teacher told us to pick 5 pieces of trash before we went into the room and everyone got extra pieces to cover the jacket even when they didn't know who threw it there. Oh yeah revenge. She also talks trash about her section leader! She thinks she is so good that she can be first chair! She can't even beat my best friend who is one chair above her and my friend is 4 chairs below the first! (No offense to my friend but she is the youngest to be that close to first chair). Geez I just wanna strangle her! Or put her in a room alone with a ***** on Viagra! scream scream scream scream scream scream scream scream Also there is this annoying kid in beginner band that thinks he is soo good! He also cracked the suspended cymbal today! He was leaning on it! So was this other person in my band, he's so pretentious! UGH! JERKS!

Ok. there are these two idiots in our percussion sec. that are eighth graders. thank god they are leaving. one of them cusses and everyone thinks he is gay, while the other one is really stupid and he cant play a simple beat. The one that sucks, (well, They both really suck) tries to take the snare drum (MINE) and beats on it. it ticks me off because he doesnt even march with us because he is so terrible. there is my rant.

i have to "Bob"s in my secction. (thank god Bob 1 left) and i HATE them both. Bob 1 is a retard. He can't march to save his life. Marching backwards he almost took out the ENTIRE flute section (my section). and he showed up everyday for prctaice wearing sandles. SANDLES. you don't wear sandles to practice, everyone knows that. Then in concert band, he thought that when you adjusted your flute to tone it, you used the cape. EVERY flute player know you NEVER touch the cape inless all else fails, then (him being last chair me being first) he tried to tell me how to tone my interment like i was the retard.
Bob 2 is just as bad.she thinks she is better then everyone. (even the bd.) She was in winterguard with me (thankfully she didn't make it to colorgaurd with me.) Well during tryouts, she tought ALL the new comers trying out the wrong counts to the routine. so us older members had to go back and spend an entire day reteaching everything. Then for concert season this year, She lost one challenge, so when i went to challenge her for 1st chair, she waited tile the last minute to go the the bd. And found away so i got screamed at for it. She skipped on the day of the original challenge, and then left on the third day of the challenge, saying she didn't know she had to stay after school for the challenge.(after the bd had already told her she did.) And got mad because she had to forfit her chair to me. Then, she has the nerve to sit there and act like she's better than the bd. I hate this chick. some times i wish i could just pop that ego of hers, cause if it gets any bigger, not only will her head explode, but the earth would drown in it.
(horribly long i know. Sorry.)

Ok, I've got a Bob in my section, the drumline. She's a girl, we'll call her Bobbi. I was lucky, and have been center or next to center snare since my first year of Parade band in sixth grade. Bobbi here was a freakin bell player for the first two years. We were short on snares this year, and she was forced out of the pit to play in the drumline last year. So this year she shares center spot with me, since there's an even number of people. The girl thinks that, despite me being sectioin leader, she can tell me what to do, treat me like crap, then expect me to help her. She acts like we're...eew, friends sometimes just so she can try and get direct center, since she's always off to the side of me a bit. Then she whines like a freakin baby when I don't let her have her way. She'll brag she's memorized the music, then play it completely wrong! Then she tries to use my snare because it's a newer one and sounds better, and has even tried to swipe my own sticks from time to time because they have new stick tape on them! I can't stand her! I have to try and deal with her, and at the same time try and train the sixth graders and seventh graders how to play snare better so they'll be able to take over when I leave for the high school in the fall!

I've got ALOT of "bob"s in my band class. so i'm a lower class, right? so, one day i walk into band with my fellow percussionists and standing in front of MY snare and OUR bass and OUR bells is the upper class with OUR music on THEIR stands. yeah, i was pissed off. apparently, our band director decided that the 8th graders get to have all of the songs but one, and that one is the really easy crappy one that we have to play. just like how in one show, my worst "bob" is in the section with me. I was the ONLY girl among these annoying "bob"s. so it's MY turn to play, on my favorite song (it has the greatest tempo in the world X3) suddenly, out of the corner of my eye i see "Bob"'s FREAKING FACE!!!! I was so pissed, he was like breathing down my neck just WAITING for me to mess up. one more thing: guy at my old school thought he was better than me 'cause he was a guy (only girl in my percussion group of 5) here's the thing, he was a lower chair than me and he thought he was better saying: "You sound like crap!" on a song that he thought he could take control of. yes, i was pissed off at him wanting to rip out his throat and go shove his head down a tuba..... >.>

wow, so many people have bobs like me... (BTW, im a sophmore now
well anyways, I have 2 bobs in my DL. The first one is the same age as me, she's the girl, so ill call her bobbie. when I was in pit, all she used to do was grumble when we had to bring the instruments down to where the band was, and I always used to think, "well hello lady, at least your instrument isn't as big as mines!" yeah, she had the smallest vibe at the time, and I was pulling the marimba, which is heavier. Then this year, there is ANOTHER bob! He plays the timpani and he SUCKS! He always tries to play it even though he pretty much just makes everyone mad. I know the person that used to play the timpani (he moved to sax becuase he couldn't handle 2 bobs, lucky him) and he can play MUCH better than him!!
But I guess there is a silver lining becuase I am now playing tenors (whoot!) so I don't see both of them a lot and I RARLY see bobbie anymore, and it makes my life so much easier blaugh

well last year we had a major bob in our group. everyone hated her pretty much because she was so bossy and stubborn. i didnt hate her but she annoyed me sometimes. were still friends though...
this year we have TWO bobs. bob #1 never shuts up. when were supposed to be practicing she just makes random comments that arent even funny or asks questions about stuff thats already been explained or she could figure out if she just tried.
bob #2 never pays attention to anything. shell just stand there and we have to yell at her to get her attention. grr shes almost as annoying as bob #1...

there's this one girl who's good at EVERYTHING she doesn't even practice but then she is awesome whn she first trys something! So whenever someone doesn't do something right the coach is always like, 'go work with Jill.' like jills some fantastic goddess of guard > razz

ok this ones a little different...it's like about an almost instructor. she's not really an instructor she just comes to "help out" occasionaly.
so anyway i like just hate it she or other instructors will point out plainly obvious stuff like as if you didn't know that. like if ur practicing a toss, and the flag bounces before you catch it. they'll be like surprised h, that was better, but see now you have to try to not let it bounce smile .
i also hate it when someone tries to teach u flagwork by like putting their hands on the flag while you do the flagwork to "guide you" like in one instance...me:um, it confuses me when- her:alot of things will confuse u, you just have to work hard me: no i mean i can't do it becau- her: don't say can't, just keep trying. you'll get better wink meI CANT DO IT WHEN YOU HAVE UR HANDS ON THE FLAG WHEN I'M TRYING TO DO IT! her: oh......y didn't u say so? me:...*learns thing fairly quickly when she gets hands off* her: *expression on face like she thinks she helped*
oh and alot of times me or someone else will be practicing something, and she'll come over to "fix" something, and we'll practicing it that way for a while, only to have her come back and say "oopsies, i guess u were doing it right before" *we have to practically relearn part*...
and this isn't really a "bob" thing but i hate when like they're doing some dance warmup like jazz runs with sotays and something else (forget name, thing where foot is like near knee...can't describe it better) and they're like gonna show the new girls, and they're like oh, do you want to go over too? do you know how to do this? it's like i did it all last season...
