We only have 5...in beginning band I'm not sure but HS band we have five...
And it doesn't help that we're overpowered by our monsterous low brass section.And by about a million trumpets.Oh,a peice of advice,never try and outplay one,it's impossible. sweatdrop

we have 22 flutes.
i must say i'm pround of my section of 24 clarinets though. (section leader pride. haha.)
our band is about 170 people. xp

We have 3-5 flutes in our band.The bad thing is,another girl and I are good so we aren't great.But that's why we have trumpets!

we have over 20 flutes.
over 20 clarinets,
over 20 saxaphones.
over 10 trumpets.
they are all overpowered by 2 oboes.
no they dont suck.

We have 9 flutes.
4 in the Symphonic Band. (I'm 1st chair ^^)
5 in Wind Ensemble.

In marching season this year, there were 9 flutes. We lost one to academics (damn the whole needing to graduate issue. =P). So now there are 8 flutes, two of which are guys. They're pretty awesome.

Sasuke_Needs_To_Die My band has had at least the maximum of 5 in all the years I've played, and I've been playing for 7 years. I think that's horrible! crying There should be more flutes and definently guys who play flutes because a flute is not a sissy instrument. domokun we have way too many.... flute is the instrument all the preppy girls want to play xd

But yeah it's sad though having almost 20 flutes but everyone under sayy 10th chair is horrible and can barely play.

we have 11 flutes, but that is unessicary wo we are teaching most of them new instruments =D

We have 9, but only six of them ever play, and one of them plays the picc, and a bunch of them play percussion on the side, so we really only have like 4.

We have 16 this year, but almost everyone is quitting to be in percussion(stupid percussion), so next year we'll only have 5.

Our band has a shortage of flutes. The most we ever had was 3. You can't really hear them play, since we have 5 loud trumpets. xD
