Lapinporokoira Big breasted women who try to compete with the man stakes. Boys who act all cool and distant and emo-esque and who have some need to prove something. Pink-Haired girls generaly being pretty vacant. The lecherous older man. Always one somewhere. ugh, I hate all those, they annoy me to no end!

How about the background characters who are obsessed with the main character? ie. Tomoyo and Sakura? And what about almost "genderless" characters? (Is found in both male and female characters!) Or characters that are always thinking of crazy things, have their heads in the cloud? ie. Inoue or Osaka

Prizz1989 1. underaged teen living alone cuzz parents died (mostly boys) 2. girls wht no mother, are great cooks 3. the hero is usualy naif oh yeah, what is it about most characters in anime living by themselves, or with one parent? Or else they live above/with relatives(not parents) that you never see.

and group of 4 or more there has to be atleast one of the following:
- an air head
- and emo/punker
- a gay guy/chick
- a sexuality undifind persone
- a pesimist
and somethimes an character can be more than one at the tim lol

Speaking of musical stereotypes, if you watch Trigun, you'll notice that Wolfwood plays tenor saxaphone, and he's an important character. xp

Sometimes they get an episode all to themselves, then shuffle off for the rest of the series. Otherwise, they're just relatively unpopular characters.

wait, the main girl in otogi zoshi plays the flute, doesn't she? her brother does I know for sure, but he's sick and probably dies - I havnt' seen enough to say. but I'm almost positive she does.
