i love our garden its really nice, i lyk to sit out there and listen my music its a great way to chill. heart (and its good for my puppy coco who is a choc labrador)

They are not that hard to take care off. Just basically plant them and make sure you water them regularly and they bloom. It's just that if you have a deer population you might want to fence it for a little bit. Those darn deer love that bush. But once it blooms they stay away.

You are so lucky then. Those blasted deer eat almost everything.
*sniffs* They ate my violets but they hate marigolds which is a good thing.

& of course, vine roses
sunflowers

I have a fear of bugs which stops me from gardening. Maybe someday I will get over it and get myself a little garden. My favorite flowers are pansies, lilies, roses and orchids but I really love bonsai.
What precautions must you take when caring for poisonous plants and venus fly traps?

Venus fly traps are hard to take care of. They need to be warm and they can be easily drowned. Damn them, so pretty and so difficult.

I have a venus flytrap, but I'm not sure I've done right by it. It was thriving for the longest time, but then I went off on holiday for a month and the housemates must not have been doing what it likes, because it mostly died back. I never would have got it if I knew they could be so testy, because I don't have the best luck with plants.
Being predictably goth, I love black stuff. Black irises, black hollyhocks, black bell peppers. I'd like to try my hand at all of those when I have a garden of my own, but right now I live in a flat and the only gardening space I have is the windowsills. But I also like more conventional plants, and I've been growing ivy and red geraniums because they're so very easy. I guess if you can't have black flowers, red is the next best thing.
Aside from the flytrap, my most gothy houseplant is a spider plant. A white one, no less.
