I hug my trumpey all the time..
named it Sue Ann.
and made my ex-boyfriend completely jealous of it.
he said, "I don't like the way you always have your lips on your mouthpiece, or how you always hugging it, its disturbing."
and I said, "You just wish it was yourself and not trumpey."
...he blushed.

Yeah! I hug my trumpet! It's great. One time I was super hhyper and wanted to freak out my teacher, I started making out with it in the middle of class! It was so funny!

Definately!!
I especially hugged my trumpet when the saxes were laughing it because part of it has a hint of orange in it.
I hugged it and denied that I have a ginger trumpet.

Yes I hug my sousaphone quite often! blaugh at band camp during breaks I lay down with my head resting in the bell- sounds pathetic but its acutally really comfy! rofl

I hug my trombone ^-^ It makes a nice pillow during band too when I've had a particularly bad night's sleep and the clarinets are doing a run for the eightieth time. It's really comfy. In middle school actually, I almost fell asleep, and then the director called on me, after talking about another female trombonist. I looked up, slightly dazed, and then nodded and snuggled back with my trombone again. He laughed and mimicked me. Nya...sleep~

PSSH! i give my Contra a hug when i get it out, and put it up! i kiss it sometimes, too. especially when people ask if i like playing it. i just say: "i LOVE it! *kiss*"

yeah, i hug my baritone all the time
but not only that i see ppl hugging their instruments, in my school, i see the the tuba players making out with their tubas.
its so hilarious!!!

That "making out" thing? Yeah, that would be called playing. Or we do it because our section leaders won't make out with us.
I mean...*cough*

one time i was in band (im da only girl) and we were bored and first chair (im second) looked lonely and i was like, im bored. and he was like "hey, watch this"

then he started making out w/his trumpet.

i have to admit, i was kinda jealous.

ya...

but then i tried it, and it turned out to be kinda fun.
