my school is doing our first show on Saturday.
It's only a clinic, though, so we're not actually competing. crying
oh well.
JV theme: Spotlights. I keep forgetting what the music is, but we have a really cool white floor with purple spots.
Varsity theme: Marionettes. Their show is SO COOL. I am jealous beyond belief. Next year, you shall have to let me in, coaches. I shall prevail! *maniacal laughter*
I am annoyed because Varsity's show is all done and we barely have the skeleton of ours yet. We probably have about 32 counts of work all together. -_-
oh well.

Sacred Heart from Roslindale Mass. We're doing "With love, Elvis" It so different from what we have done in other years. It's going to be great. We'll be at the Salem reg, Trumbull Ct, New Jersey power reg, and Dayton for WGI. We'll be at nesba and emass shows too.

w00t w00t for winter season! I marched clarinet for field season. We're doing "City" by Sara Barielles. I'm finally on rifle line. I sorta was in middle school and then high school that director left. But miss tonya is awesome. She does our middle school too. They're show is "The Dance" by Charlotte Martin

we're doing the race. ^-^ Its really cool. I love it! This is our school first year to do indoor. I'm so excited.Cypress Woods High School Houston, Texas. Our show is called Melody and its some sort of instrumental piece that is really hard to describe. Any of ya'll going to any of the Houston shows?? We had our first one at Cy-Springs the 19th and got first in the AAA class.

I was going to do it, but I didn't. I was going to be in Capella...I just didn't think it was for me I guess. They are an independent winter guard and they are going to World's so check them out...if you are going to World's.

This year our them is foolish games for our A guard with Jewel's foolish games for our song.( my squad)
B guard's them is a song from NSYC. Like sailing or something. I don't remember.

I'm from horn lake Home of the eagles (our football team sucks)
Our first winterguard comp is the 16 and our show isn't even finished yet. my director says it's normal, but after marching season, it just feels weird.

My freshmen year we did a show called Child of Man by Noa. It was realy freaking annoying!! Our uniforms were the nasty things every bright green pants, and bright yellow tops with bright pink and blue strips!!!!!!!!! We were like freakin flowers... Anyway this year with or Melody show we have the entire thing done and did by our first comp. We have our second this weekend at Oak Ridge and I'm totally physched b/c we might get bumped a class.

SinobarreFirst year I tossed a rifle, trying to toss a five, and it flew to the right and hit some girl on her head. I cried. lol I was scared that she was really hurt but she wasn't. First show was. . . . hyperventillating. lol. But after I was sad cuz our performance felt sp short and I didn't want to get off the floor. lol lol my freshman year I was practicing doubles in a circle with a few other girls and I released one slightly to the right. It hit a girls rifle out of the air and into her forehead sad She had a huge goose egg for about a week. Over a year later she still wont let me forget it....

I'm from Mounds, OK. Our show is "A Night Through Vincent's Eyes".
It's the song Vincent by Don Mclean, but Josh Groban is singing it.

Kay. So i'm at Rancho Cotate High School in California. We're doing our VERY FIRST winterguard competition and we're doing our routine to the song "turn the beat around" by gloria estefan...and we're doing the routine wearing all black to emphasize our bright colored flags.
Excited.
