I repeat my earlier statement.
IF YOU'RE REALLY THAT CONCERNED ABOUT IT, GET OFF YOUR LAZY, FAT A** AND F***ING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. OTHER WISE, LAY OFF OF BUSH. YOU THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER? TRY IT. AND WHEN YOU'RE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING BECAUSE YOU'VE TURNED INTO THE VERY THING YOU DESPISE AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME, JUST COME BACK HERE AND SEE IF YOUR VIEWS ARE STILL THE SAME.
And a side note: Whoever is running this thread, please add another option for people who aren't idiots, but don't particularly like Bush. And while you're at it, please also get rid of the Sparta option. Last time I checked this was the "Intelligent Discussion" Thread.

Jibiki I repeat my earlier statement. IF YOU'RE REALLY THAT CONCERNED ABOUT IT, GET OFF YOUR LAZY, FAT A** AND F***ING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. OTHER WISE, LAY OFF OF BUSH. YOU THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER? TRY IT. AND WHEN YOU'RE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING BECAUSE YOU'VE TURNED INTO THE VERY THING YOU DESPISE AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME, JUST COME BACK HERE AND SEE IF YOUR VIEWS ARE STILL THE SAME.And a side note: Whoever is running this thread, please add another option for people who aren't idiots, but don't particularly like Bush. And while you're at it, please also get rid of the Sparta option. Last time I checked this was the " Intelligent Discussion" Thread. I know I could do better, however as someone said earlier, there's not much that can be done. Bush is one of, if not the most hated president in America. Still, while some people are lazy, it's hard to get enough signatures to impeach a president, and a lot of people do stay loyal, they use patriotism as an excuse for not doing anything about something they dislike, or they sit back and watch instead of doing something about it. I've signed petitions and started a community on livejournal, amongst other things. I've been very active in my pursuit of getting Bush out of office. So to just assume that everyone ranting, venting, or saying anything against bush is lazy and needs to get off their behinds and do something, makes you look pretty ignorant in my eyes. Also, the way you're flaming isn't intelligent so I don't see why you're being a jerk about a silly option in a poll. While this is the intelligent discussion thread, that doesn't mean you have to have a stick up your bum and be boring and not make things interesting, or can't be sarcastic and silly. Lastly, as for you telling me, or anyone else that I need to lay off bush, for whatever reason you have, that's ridiculous. This is a thread for that purpose, if you don't like it you don't have to read it. On top of that, I and we can say whatever we damn well choose.

I aint fat, I aint that lazy, and I do all I can in my situation about it. I would love to run for president and, while i cant say id be perfect, i know i would do a thousand times better than him, at least. There is absolutly no way i would be corrupted into acting in any way like him, because I have lived on the bottom rung of things for far too long. You say i should run for president? fine. Show me where I would possibly go for the FUNDING TO EVEN ENTER!!! One of the biggest problem s we have is that the rich SOBS who only care for their own wealth are the only ones who can affort to run most of the time. Those ppl do not usually care about the lower class or even the middle class ppls well being unless it is election time. John Edwards was seriously into trying to help the out, which is why I was a big backer for him until he dropped out of the race. And IF I were to be president, that is one of the first things I would focus on. helping those who NEED IT! and last of all, lemme ask you this: What makes you thing George W. Bush is not SPARTA!!! ? (besides, if this is intelegent discussion, why are we discussing the antics of a dumbass?)

1. So you'd like us all to try and do better than Bush? Well alright, I'll just need to borrow oh let's say a billion or so from you for campaign purposes like advertisements TV time etc, and I swear to whatever deity truely exists without a reasonable doubt. 2. Maybe you could also try not being an a*****e by saying everyone who's said Bush is stupid is an idiot (you're not the only one with an opinion) and yelling in all caps and red. This is indeed the intelligent discussion forum not the "You're all pissing me off and I want to stop you from speaking your minds" forum maybe you should get it right 3nodding 3. About the SPARTA thing....Get. A. Sense. Of. Humor! 4. Shush! -edit- *breaks his rationality stick* 5. You say he's our leader and we have no right to speak badly about him? I guess I didn't read the section called "Ignorant Patriotism" in the book on how to be a good American everyone's entitled to their own opinion it doesn't matter who it's about honestly if the Pope did anything stupid I'd be there in a heart beat to insult him/point it out being something special does not make you special it just means you probably had more popularity and beat someone better suited to work at what you beat them to.

Bush may be intelligent, I don't really know. All I know is that he isn't very good at running the country.

Bush = your next President 'til November.
Let him wallow in his own pool of conspiracy until then and leave him alone.

So what if he messed up , we all make mistakes. What do you think? "we all" aren't presidents of one of the strongest countries, so messing up is not really an option

It does not matter whether he is intelligent or not. What matters is the path he leads the country on. Thus far, He is leading us strait for a cliff.

KuramaFox007Yaoi I think people should learn the word 'loyalty'. I understand the word loyalty perfectly well, and I only give it to those who deserve it, which excludes Bush. I didn't vote for him, and I see excruciatingly little, if any, good coming from his presidency, and certainly a horrifying amount of bad. Why should I be at all loyal to him when I feel that he has betrayed me and the whole damned country?

George bush is not my favorite person.. I think he thinks if you dont agree with his beliefs you out.. I think you need balance people who will stand up and say we disagree..and not be afraid of being let go.. I think on the war is we had got to know the culture and come in with ideas things might have worked better..we might not have been in the war.

KuramaFox007Yaoi I think people should learn the word 'loyalty'. I think you should learn the difference between "loyalty" and "blind loyalty". As Lincoln once said: "Stand with anybody who stands for what is right, and part with them when they go wrong". many ppl followed with bush when he took revenge against Afganistan for 9/11. however, it has been quite awhile since Afganistan has been his primary target. He decided to make it a "war on terror" and attack Iraq, who hadnt done anything to us, and who was equally hated by Osama as America is. so what part of this makes him worthy of my support?

I feel sorry for the Republican party. all it took was Bush to throw them off the deep end. the only good Republican president has been Abraham Lincoln. I could be wrong, however. I will admit that I am not an expert on the history of the 20th century.

For me as an outsider the US has become kinda scary since Bush has been president. He is the symbol of the "first crash it than search for reasons"-method and it seems kinda fishy to take rights from the people in order to "protect" them. But we have someone like that in Germany as well^^
The problem is that he is the person everybody connects with that, but he is not like a dictator or something. So what will happen if he is no longer president and there are still things that do not seem to be right? I think it is very easy to say "Bush is stupid and it's his fault", but it won't work forever.
