Kid Nasty MeriThranduiliell Tyo Kid Nasty And for the people all wondering who/what/where with Ethan, I 'm pretty sure that.... ninja Ethan is Alex! ninja That's exactly what I was thinking too. 3nodding I was at first, but ninja isn't Ethan too old? Alex would only be about 16... and he doesn't have a french accent. sweatdrop Well, yeah, but... ninja Danielle never said (1) When she gave birth to Alex, or (2) How long she was on the Island before she set up the repeating transmission. Besides, 16 years is long enough to lose your accent if you're talking a different language the whole time. I mean, Danielle barely had any accent anymore. ninja ninja But who would he have been talking the other language *to*? sweatdrop I see where you're coming from, though...

My guess is that Alex was still a kid when he came with his parents to he island, but his mother might have moved from a french-speaking country to America, or Canada (as Ethan said he was from Canada, so maybe Danielle's from Quebec?), but his father, and the rest of Danielle's expedition, may have been English. It's very possible that only Danielle was french, and when they were attacked, she panicked and spoke in french in the transmission rather than english because that's what came more naturally to her (though, I admit, many people in Quebec speak English as well).

Alrighty, I figure since it is now Thursday afternoon that everyone's seen it so that it's safe to post without white. If I'm wrong in this assumption then mods, feel free to fix it, or let me know and I'll fix it.
I DID not see that coming, oh and about the alex thing...didn't the transmission say it killed them all? Well they'd have to have been there for a short while before that wouldn't they at least? So there's no telling how long Danielle and Alex have been on the Island. Also, did anyone else feel an evil vibe from locke when Sayid came back to camp. He looked like he didn't want Sayid to be saying anything.
Now, Charlie and claire, my favorite subject. I nearly died when the episode ended. How could they do that to us crying ?! I was loving the conflict between the two because it makes it interesting and not-so-perfect and therefore more realistic. And once again, like Meri said, I kicked drugs so I can do this...poor charlie **pats him like a puppy** And her life story was interesting, and her ex...**sporks him** AND the psychic! Why oh why must they play with my head like that?

Nolah Also, did anyone else feel an evil vibe from locke when Sayid came back to camp. He looked like he didn't want Sayid to be saying anything. Yeah, I noticed that! I was like, "What's Locke angry about?". Something's up with him. Remember Claire's dream in the beginning, when he had one white eye and one black eye? It's like in the fight between good and evil, he's the nexus between the two or something.

It was hard for me to hear the transmission, as I still stand on the assumption that Shannon's translation wasn't entirely accurate, but I'm fairly certain Danielle said "il les ont tuer", meaning "it killed them", not necessarilly "it killed them all". 3nodding I could be wrong, though. It's been a while since I was in a french course.

I bet the baby isn't going to come for a while though... they're probably going to stretch that out for a while. xp I still say that Locke is evil... or at least there's something not right about him. sweatdrop I see what you mean, Tyo- Canada is partly french speaking, so I'm thinking he just might be Alex now... sweatdrop

Though, Locke might be angry because the group that heard the message over the transceiver didn't tell the other survivors that there was a message. I doubt it, but I have to bring it up...

this week's episode really freaked me out. like the whole thing in the beginning with Locke's eyes. *shivers* that was so creepy. and then the whole thing with the psychic guy knowing about the plane crash and making Claire go on that plane. and i have a question...who the hell is that Ethan guy? i was thinking it was the psychic guy because Claire seemed to recognize him.

Ethan was introduced a few episodes back- he was helping Locke to hunt. Other than that, we don't know anything about him.

I have a bad feeling about next week. There were some pics from next week's ep at LOST TV, LostMedia, and losttheshow.com . It's kinda spoilerish if you don't already know (you might, but just in case . . .) , so look below if you'e curious. If you don't wanna know, just, like, close your eyes, lol . . .
Charlie and Claire are kidnapped (We assume by Ethan) in the next ep. There are several pics of Charlie sitting alone (!!!) by the fire, with some marks on his neck (!) and lookng tramatized. Plus, Jack and Kate apear to be omforting him. It seems that Charlie will be found, and not Claire. It might not be that bad, maybe the experience just traumatized him and Claire's somewhere else. But we C/C shippers better keep our fingers crossed for her saftey.
