"I thought I heard something... Sneaky..." Kaze muttered and sighed. "Nevermind, you have use of the shadows right?" He asked. Kaze thought to himself for a oment. "I know one other with shadow powers..."
"My mom told me that this happens sometimes. When two people spend too much time together, they tend to become angry at each other." Zathier explained. He thought back to his parents and shook his thoughts away. Zathier didn't want to remember them. He heard that his parents died shortly after his leave.

"What's up with that smirk?" Kaze asked. He looked over at her strangely.
"Don't worry! I'm sure he'll get over it sooner or later and come running back to you." Zathier said reassuringly.

"Well, atleast you're not like my... 'Friend'. He's a bit weirder than you are." Kaze explained. He continued walking to the town while talking to Eva. "Come to think of it, I haven't seen him in awhile. I wonder how he's doing." Kaze mumbled to himself.
"I don't believe that!" Zathier shouted. "He's your friend isn't he? Then he'll come back." He said.

"Hey! Purple wind cat!" Kaze called out jokingly. He didn't think it would be too hard to find a purple cat, but he had been wrong before.
"Opal, you give up on people too easily." Zathier said as he knelt down beside her again. "He'll be back, ok?" He said comfortingly.

Vaati clung to the dark alleys of Castle Town. He didn't want to go back. If Opal wanted to see other people, that was fine by him. He would stay out of her way then. His ears twitched when he heard Kaze's voice on the wind and climbed into an opened window he spotted.
Vaati was surprised of where he ended up. There was a tree in the middle of the room that climbed all the way to the ceiling. Vaati blinked, he was nearly blinded by the golden bugs floating around.

"Where do you think we should search?" Zathier asked as he got up and looked at Opal.

Vaati climbed out of the window, not caring if Kaze caught him or not. He just need to get of there before the stupid bugs blinded him. Vaati ran across the paved road and up into another alley there. There, he spotted a gang of cats in front of an house. Vaati trotted off to join them.

Kaze sighed and thought to himself. "If I were a cat, where would I be?... Either around other cats, or near some milk" He thought as he ran off, trying to find either of those two things.
