Flustered Knight Anon Yes, but his nudges usually end up knocking me over. He chuckles a little at the thought. I've been friends with him since both of us were very small. He would always wake me up by jumping on me when he was smaller, but now he just sits on me, or waves his tail in front of my face. And sometimes he'll hide behind things and jump out and roar, which always startles me. So long as he doesn't hurt you. *eyes go all big and sparkly* That's adorable~ W-well not the jumping out to startle you part. How did you two meet? *looks up ready for a magical story*

The White Kingdom I'm from trains its knights to ride lions, so children with parents that are knights will often be trained in the same discipline. He looked away and frowned lightly. But you see, I was born of a mother from the White Kingdom, and a father from the Black Kingdom, which is the Kingdom we're at war with. Because of this, I was often not allowed to take part in most training, and had to rely entirely on my mother's knowledge. Atticus was the runt of a litter of lion cubs, and none wished to train with him, so my mother brought him to me without them knowing. We've been friends ever since. His smile returned as he spoke of their friendship, though the circumstances were not ideal.

All he had to do was roll onto his back and put his paws up. He sighs. Now isn't much different, mind you. I still have difficulty getting him to do as I ask.

Does he still roll on his back with his paws in the air? I bet it's still cute~

It's not as cute, but yes, he'll do it from time to time if he wants something. He chuckled. But it's lovely to have him around when I sleep outside. He's a wonderful heater.

Cute enough for it to work, correct? *gives him a little nudge with her elbow and smiles* Oh, I bet that's nice. Like a big cuddly pillow~ Say, do lions purr? That would make for even better sleep.

Ah, no, lions don't purr. I've heard that animals that can roar can't purr, while animals the purr can not roar. I'm not sure how true that is though. I don't believe I've ever heard a lion purr, however.

I don't believe I've ever heard a lion purr, however. Aw, that's too bad. The thought of him purring you to sleep is so cute. *taps her lower lip* D-does he roar to wake you up? Th-that might be a bit too scary a way to wake up . . .

Ah, yes, he does that from time to time. I'm not a very heavy sleeper though, so it's not very often that he roars to wake me up.
