Minty Andee I guess I'll have to find some sneaky way to get my compliments it. It really annoys me to no end when people are like that. I think it's really rude.

Gigi of the Ribbons kefkadragon I bought some stuff off my wishlist and was gifted some other stuff from it. Professor Merlin, recolors of quartermaster keel's hex, duke of spades, and some other stuff. (Probably. Sometimes it lets me see animated items, but usually not) Nice~ Again I shall wait to see the magic. (Well foo . . . I went with what it calls bubblegum on here. It makes me think cotton candy like my favorite hair. ) I just hope the judging doesn't take much longer.

For me, it's always more like the person refusing the compliment is refusing my opinion or saying I'm to stupid to really know what I'm talking about. Like if I tell someone, for example, that they have nice hair and they say "Oh, no. It's totally brittle and a mess today. I look terrible." It's like telling me I have bad taste or my ideas of beauty are invalid or not as important as theirs. Like, maybe they genuinely feel that way about their hair that day, but it doesn't mean someone else might see it differently.
In it's own way, it's very selfish and thoughtless to respond to compliments like that.
Besides, if you're feeling down about yourself, what better way than to boost your ego than to step into the shoes of someone who think's you're great for a moment. At least long enough to validate them and appreciate the time they took to try and make you feel better about yourself.

Oh, congrats to them~ What, didn't like showin' off the abs? emotion_awesome not for nearly three days. I guess it was that i couldn't change that made me like the avi less. I like that hair, but i don't know if i can use it that well.
