Askari began to run, but paused. "Denji.." she said quietly, this time a small tear rolling down her cheek. "I told you it was stupid...then you go and worry..that doesn't make anything better..." the blonde said quietly, then she shifted into her cat form and ran after him. Denji! Wait! Please?

Denji shifted forms again and retrieved the ocarina from Aki. "You said you felt lonely even though I'm always around you." Denji muttered with a frown.

Askari shifted forms as Denji did, "I...I didn't mean it like that..it's just...I can't explain it..." she looked to the ground, "It's impossible to explain...you don't make me feel lonely, but when your gone I..." she shook her head, it was impossible to explain.

"I'm almost never gone. When you were on the ground sulking before Envy came back, I was there. And you were lonely? I don't get it. Could you at least try harder to explain?" Denji's ears drooped and he had to try hard not to hiss. He was angry, whether he wanted to be or not. He put the Ocarina away to keep himself from crushing it.

Askari was frustrated, "It wasn't when you were there, it was when I was washing, when I had gone to find food I was lonely...I can't explain it further, it's impossible. I can't say it in words..." She still had tears streaming from her face, and her head hung low. "I'm sorry, Denji..." she said quietly, kissed him softly, then darting off in the opposite direction. She couldn't stay, she'd been causing more trouble than she was worth.

Envy had been watching from the shadows. She kept hidden behind a tree as she watched the two. Was it her fault that Denji was angry? Ever since she stepped in, it looked like those two never got to be alone. She sat down and looked at her hands. A flashed, a small little boy laying on the ground. He was dead, the hands that Envy looked at were covered in blood. All she heard was, "MONSTER! MONSTER!". Envy shut her eyes tight and clamped her hands over her ears. "ITS NOT MY FAULT! HE- HE-" She suddenly shouted.

"Wait... Askari..." Denji touched the spot she kissed and practically melted. He was stunned and it took him a while before he decided to run after. "Waaaiiitttt, I'm sorry for being so rude. I forgot that you washed and hunted, and I was asleep and I washed too..."

Askari paused, then continued, she didn't think Denji really would've come after her, but he obviously cared. She'd stumbled over her own two feet, not watching where she was going, and fell. She began to cry, "It doesn't matter, I know you care, but I tried to show you what I couldn't explain, and you probably don't feel the same. So just leave me here.." she continued crying, a few sniffs being heard here and there, in between sobs.

Askari's eyes widened, "Denji, Truly? Y-you do?" the blonde was stunned, but she couldn't read peoples minds, so she really wouldn't have been able that he was going to tell her that he loved her.

"Of course. When you said you were lonely, I kind of thought it meant you didn't love me back, that I was doing something wrong. Do you feel better? We have to get the last stone from the Zoras..." He got Aki's ocarina out again.

Askari wrapped her arms around Denji's chest, "Of course, I feel better. I lo-" the word caught in her throat. She coughed, Why can't I say that I love him? I know I do, but why can't I say it?, she thought to herself. She attemped saying it again, "I l-" the blonde was startled. Why couldn't she say it? It wasn't that hard, why would her throat close up just before she got the word out? She wasn't doing it, but it was strange. She thought for a moment, for how she could get around the word that she longed to say, but couldn't. Not that she wouldn't, but she simply couldn't. "I like you this much.." the blonde muttered before brushing her lips against his.

Denji felt like he melted again before he kissed her back. For a brief moment, he forgot about his mission. His dreams, the stones, all seemed to disappear and he saw nothing but Askari. It was simply his best day ever.

Askari felt her love well up inside, and knew this feeling wouldn't go away; but she liked the feeling. Her fingers were intertwined with his when she pulled away, "We'd best get going..." she said with reluctance.

"Aww, so soon?" Denji gave her a flirty smile. "Well, I guess the sooner the better. I want to see what the point is in these dreams, so once we figure that out, we can be alone, right?" He asked as he eagerly ran towards the domain.
