*Fortuny moves forward....then stops...then moves forward again...cautiously...she's never seen this side of Kero before...knowing him only as a child, or as the ruthless fighter and strategist she has seen in battle...now, she sees his true face, behind all the masks and the clever deception....one in pain...but who seeks not to escape it...preferring to aid others in escaping their pain first...and so his music heals her...though she has no doubt he could heal his own wounds, deep within his hidden heart, if he really tried*

Shar smiles at the two and walks out of the room. She dabs at her eyes with her sleeve and sighs, wishing she wasn't such a sap. But what she had just witnessed was beyond all her own meager capability and she knows it. Knowing the cub will have no memory of what he has done, she stores the vision away in her heart, to ponder and pour over at a later time. Right then she had a clinic to run and medicines to prepare.

*Kero's music soon stops...his body isn't up to it...and he collapses, snoring away...Fortuny, touched, curls around him, protecting him...and falls asleep herself*

Hearing a familiar snore, Shar looks into her office and shakes her head. Walking over to the two on the floor, she takes a blanket from the front room and covers them. "Sleep well, ye two." she whispers before returning to her work.

She lets the two sleep for about an hour then wakes them up, shooing them from the office. "I have work to do and ye both have a place ye can sleep at without takig up a good hunk of me floor." she grumbles with a grin to take the sting from her words. Before Fortuny can leave though she corners her and gives her one last hug.
"Remember, what ye did... ye did for love and for good... yes, there was pain... but that pain will fade and the good will remain... Never forget this, m'lady. Keep it as yer mantra when the darkness presses against yer soul."

Shar smiles and ushers them out telling Kero she'll come down to check on Tam later. "He didn't look too good last night. Is he alright, now?"

Shar leans against the door frame stunned. "Fight? Those two? What on earth were they fighting about this time? I thought they had finally moved beyond all that and were the best of friends."

I believe what they fought about is between the two of them...no offense, Dawnmistress, but Tam would die of embarassment if I told how badly something my mate did sat with him...*Winks, then scurries off*

Shar nails Kero before he can take off. "Is he ok?" she demands in a no nonsense voice, leaving no doubt in her voice that she is speaking of the bard and not the lion.

Shar sighs. "Show off..." she mutters and goes back to her work, deciding she'll walk down to the cottage to check up on her patient after dinner. Heaven only knew what kind of trouble he had gotten himself into this time.

*Kero reappears at Dinnertime, carrying a pair of plates, both laden with fish and veggies...he had since joind Shar in getting Mica to eat his greens....and had...once....done the airplane technique as practice controlling space....Until Lathander booted his behind, that is...*
Special delivery, Dawnmistress...who shall bully our Illustrious priest into eating a balanced meal today?
