The clone of Kagerou tilted her head a couple times. At first, to the side in thought. Then, to the window after the ground trembled as as she caught sight of clouds moving up, or rather. The ground she stood on had moved down. Sensations of all sorts filled her. External sensations, like the abnormal chakra that filled the room and the voices that spoke as from the deepest abysses of ocean depths and men's minds. Internal sensations, like the sudden surge of a different conscience, a different thought. The unique experience of individuality, but... the base did not change. The clone of Kagerou was still Kagerou copied, and so she thought like the original. Whatever she thought or felt, more important matters came first. She could not risk the safety of others to her selfish desires.
Eyes that had been momentarily lowered when the sudden surge of individuality had hit her raised to look at Toso once more. The smile had never disappeared from her face. Entertaining as it would have been to continue under the assumption that Toso was solely drunk, these strange occurrences could not all be hand waved and dealt with as merely "the Arashikage needs to be sobered up."
But she didn't know how. And right now, her only clues were these tentacles that spoke, so of course. She did the only thing she could right now. "Could you please stop?" she asked, blunt and to the point, "Who says there is nothing? When there is so much something in this village you have led these past five years, Toso?".

Bearing similar results as if someone had used a genjutsu. The floors and walls grew eyes which all seemed to move independently of one another while scenery seemed to be melting. The lighting of the room dimmer. In the corner once straightened pool cues began to look gangly and snakeish in nature. Whatever occurrence that was now enveloping the room and the Arashikage was intensifying. Outside the window streaks of this 'chakra' seemed to start running down the towers side.
The spectacle didn't go unnoticed of course but the course of action for those witnessing it was well, up in the air. Situations such as these required counsel of the Arashikage yet at the same time the Arashikage was unavailable for clearly obvious reasons. As if cementing into the ground like bolts of dark cloudy lightening it left 'wounds' on the almost venous like network of the Aether Leyline. This visible to those with special eyes but ultimately causing a brief headache if staring too long. At the very least the village stopped moving for the time being but the almost boneless looking husk of an Arashikage being dragged around by his tentacles wasn't being any less cryptic with its choice of words.
Tassei Kan, the arashikage's current attire, was a direct connection to the leyline, and by proxy Toso and whatever influence was presiding over him at the current moment. Piecing the two together Toso had called the clothing his 'pilot gear' to Kagerou in the past as a jest during a past session involving why he had such a diverse wardrobe, and with that bit of a reminder, the pilot was currently inebriated and under the influence. If anything could be drawn from the stirrings of the limbs linguistics with some deep thought it could be determined that they had acknowledged kagerou. Acknowledged in the sense of referring to her as the one whose village embraced returning to the nothingness, amidst other adjectives.

Designed to End All eyes focused on the core of this incident, on the lifeless husk of Toso and the tentacles that had seemingly taken control of his body. The falling chakra that streaked down the tower outside of the window were seen, yes, even if it would be easier to stop the village's descent to disaster by dealing with the mechanisms themselves, Kagerou would not want that. Of course, the lives of many bore precedence to the life of one. In this case, even if it was the life of the Arashikage. However, that didn't make that one life any less important. She would not abandon Toso while a chance remained.
Since the tentacles had acknowledged her, or at least appeared to, she would attempt to appeal to them. Her eyes glimmered red, a glow emanating from them that was greater than anything that could have been reflected in the now shadow-clouded room. They observed, and her smile... eased. Under the unnerving gazes of countless eyes, she smiled sane as her head pulsed with pain from attempting to decipher what was indecipherable. It was new, possibly even more alien than the Sero, but the unknown was a familiar sort of place for her to operate from. After all, was this clone that she was not birthed from the unknown? Given form and thought by some strange magic know as chakra then further granted individuality by the eldritch sensations that filled this room?

On the subconcious plane of exsistence there would be the Arashikage. Standing on Saiken's shoulder where the tendrils that once smothered them slowly recoiled down their body as if it were an old skin being shed. Tired did the duo appear as if there was a whole scenario unseen that went on in the Arashikage's headspace. An ocean of booze slowly drying up filled with severed dark tentacles."That was more complicated than I thought it would be. I had nary an idea a chakra like this...ah if you could call it that was inside me same.""I would have never agreed to our pact if I was aware that I'd be sharing a room with what ever that could have possibly been.""Now, Sai-chan it might be strange but it seems its intent isn't directly a malicious one bloop. As if having a piqued curiosity as to what Saiken would say the Arashikage would raise an eyebrow "Yes Sai-chan?""Cut back on the booze." The slug would smack the Arashikage off its shoulder and back into reality. Although to say he was back at one hundred percent his old self wasn't entirely the case.
His voice, seeing as his current form seemed to lack a mouth came out from one of the tentacles as his body stood up. "Ah, well that was quite the ordeal bloop. I should likely take Sai-chans advice and cut back a bi..Ah.." Although the place where his eyes should have been were vacuous voids it seemed apparent they could still see and looking out the window he'd see concerned individuals looking as if an evacuation was about to occur. Turning around did Toso's pale body look upon what it believed to be the real Kagerou. "What have I gone and done this time Ka-nee?" - "Uhooooooh looks like I've made quite a mess of things! To think a simple nap would have led to this." - "If this was what was occurring Kagerou you should have suppressed me. There's no telling what could have happened to the village. The village takes priority over my well being. You should know this." Three on the tentacles spoke in the Arashikage's voice each one as if it were an individual. A muddled council of sorts.
Shortly did Arashi's elevation return but the attempts at alleviating the strange occurrence that he'd done to the Aether Leyline remained unchangeable. It would appear he'd require more of a group effort to solve this problem. As for the rest of what had occurred, he'd leave the Clone of Kagerou to handle the situation as suddenly would it feel the individuality it had earlier was slowly eeking back into the realization it was just a clone once more.

Designed to End Just as the gift (or was it a curse?) of self awareness did not change the level-headed clone of Kagerou, neither did the loss of it truly change anything. It merely watched quietly, offering no answer, be it refutation or agreement, to the final words given by the tendrils. That garbled, eldritch speech would be the last words spoken by the unnatural in this small episode, no doubt one of the many that will soon unfold. After all, there were some answers that could only be given through the experiences of one's life. Answers that changed with each individual. Answers words could not possibly fathom to answer. Answer's where the mind and tongue could not be trusted.

There was more than this simple reason for Kagerou's choice in speaking to the eldritch being, not least of which was her own memories of the consequences of a easily spooked genin breaking up a delicately balanced fuuinjutsu formation that had been at the core of a village-wide disturbance. In the end, it had ended well for the village, but from what Kagerou had gleaned, the Mizukage would live for the rest of his life with the scars of the decision. However, the Arashikage didn't need to waste his time with such a story.
That time would be much better spent with a gentle, smiling reprimand from Kagerou. She didn't want to see Toso like that, ever again. His body limp, some unknown force controlling him. Herself uncertain if he was still alive in mind and spirit within that distorted body. How much drink he must have imbibed to reach such a point. What must have driven him to drink so much. She also didn't want to see him like that ever again, turned so desperate as to turn to an unhealthy escape by something she did not dare to probe for. However, she would not voice these thoughts, which were better to be voiced by others. Holding her concerns at bay, she only smiled, sternly and with feeling, but still only a smile.

~Current Theme Music~:Shellfie' What appeared to be some sort of a delinquent child in a coat far too big for them ran about the training field being pursued by what seemed to be anbu and company in a rather comical manner similar to parents chasing their child around the household and running out of energy. Various tired exhales of what sounded like business jargon and office lingo came from their mouths to which the young lad simply replied. "That sounds incredibly boring, bloop. I don't want to right now, masu." One of those trademark you leave me no choice spiels later and one desperate dive later lead to an operative getting their head goomba stomped into the ground as the youngling spring boarded off their head and wrapped the loose long sleeves of their coat around the other pursuant's neck before slingshotting and launching both himself upward whilst also having the poor sap get a face full of his companions rear end. "I had to do another thing, masu. Now I can't remember, bloop. Sai-yan. Do you remember?""I believe you were intending on speaking with the one you refer to as Kaileer. Being a child, while his mind was still for the most part his own. There was something liberating about it. A feeling of being given a pass on the responsibilities of an adult. As the Uzumaki got closer to the building, one thing was for sure. She had never liked this... building if you wanted to call it that. It was odd and abnormal. A sad smile approached as she chuckled to herself. She was getting used to this building. Does that mean she was getting used to Arashigakure? This village wasn't too bad. Just... distant and always cold. Old habits die hard. With a soft sigh as she entered into the elevator and pushed the button, not sure what to meet. When the doors opened, her hues glanced around. It was empty. Damn. Where was Toso? Course after what happened, it would make full sense that he would be busy. No one was here save for the bartender. Maybe she could ask him. Headed to the bar, "Afternoon," she started, "Do you know where Toso-sama is?" She questioned, patiently waiting for his reply as her hands rested on top of the cool solid bar. A slight chill rose up in her spine as she was a bit confused. What was that? Little does she know that it was the curse making it's way to her, for she will tell nothing but the truth now.

Designed to End Cryptic messages from the tentacles and then sane ones from Toso's would make up the parting message to the clone. In surprise, she would smile at first. Surprise quickly turning keen with curiosity. Though, in the end, she only smiled helplessly. Speech of those outside forces were rare to come by, but in the end, it was merely speech. Such was just a natural part of this life.
With business finished, the clone of Kagerou bowed silently and puffed out of existence.
As Nozomi approached and inquired he'd be cleaning glasses as per usual with his head down. Quite audibly she would hear, coming from behind the ornate mask. "My, looks like its that lovely young woman from before. I do wonder what it could be that she wants from moi. Ah of course, that mans schedule. I've certainly taken the position of secretary haven't I? Should I offer a compliment? Best not. Chancing they have a significant other has burned me before. She looks the innocent type but tis those types that are the most brutal. Best say nothing before I find myself crushed under heel and helpless. To this day, I wonder what's become of that raucous Moro woman. I suppose I do favor a petite mademoiselle with fires in their hearts over the occasional cool beauty. Bon it would likely be none too different from Nina, I feel my size would lead to her discomfort like it did her. Some would think my endowment a blessing but what a curse its been, sera sera. Ah, bon should see if I can recall his whereabouts and give the lovely woman an answer rather than stand here in silent contemplation polishing the trade bon.

Trefles spoke completely in disregard to his earlier words, words of which he believed were confined in his head. That aside he essentially told nozomi a childlike version of the kage was likely in the fields outside the office. "Of course if you'd rather not play a game of goose and gander mademoiselle I can relay or deliver what you've the need to moi patron when he returns which I'm certain will be eventually.
Trefles would return to cleaning the glasses in front of him similar to before he seemed to be speaking out loud again. "Not as if I've anywhere else to be. What with moi patron closing his shop I've more time on my hands than I'd prefer. What with the village travelling on its own I've nary reason to leave it further and my nights have been so lacking in inspiration I've been polishing more than simply glass to find any sense of euphoria."

Back at the massive building known as the Spire, I found remarkably little in the way of a cause of the earlier explosion. All appeared to be in order, as far as I could initially tell. The lack of anything happening brought... annoyance? Frustration? I guess a sense of wasted time since I wanted to sleep. But since I was there, I might as well take care of what was needed. See if Toso was available to speak finally and, if he was, find out what the hell was going on.
Which brought me to the top floor of the Spire, where the Arashikage's office was. The elevator opened up to the end of a conversation between the blue-haired bartender and what looked to be Uzumaki-san. Something about polishing and a sense of euphoria. I didn't dwell on the statement, and had no interest in whatever he had just said. Unless the red-headed woman was there just to get a drink, the best bet was that she was there to speak with the Arashikage.
Which meant another wait.
Sighing inwardly, I hovered for a moment to see if my presence would be acknowledged before taking a seat in one of the chairs that decorated the room.

He didn't look up as she listened to him continue to talk. Feeling a bit sheepish for assuming he would know the man's schedule, maybe she was at the wrong here for asking. "Nothing wrong with compliments, course each woman is different." A bit of shock was seen in her eyes. Did... did she say that?! That was something she would think, not say out loud. She wasn't a social person, and she sure as hell wasn't going to start now. "I haven't had a significant other in years, I'm doing all I can to shield my heart from being hurt again." Nozomi instantly place her hand over her mouth. What the hell was she saying!? She doesn't reveal this to her best friend so why would she, to a stranger? Then she coughed when he brought up his 'size' might end up 'discomforting a woman'. Her hand slammed onto the bar as she was doing all she can not to blurt out another word that was on her mind. The stinging pain from the contract of the surface helped direct Nozomi's mind elsewhere. Her eyebrow rose at him, "A child looking like him?" then she frowned, "With all the time gap that's been happening, I was not aware that a reversal could happen. Hmm." She smiled at Trefles, a bit warm, sad, and friendly, "This... message isn't exactly meant to be delivered. It's more face to face." She then seemed like she was going to stop talking but this curse had other things, "It's more about my failure with- GAH. No, stop." She shouted at herself. "Think of other things, did I say that out loud?" She questioned. She wanted to think that, not say it!
Okay. She needed to get out and hide somewhere before this escalates. She felt a bit bad for Trefles. Nozomi wanted to say more, it happened. "May I suggest something? It would make me a hypocrite to say so, but there's nothing wrong to take up classes to find your new hobby. Photography. Drawing. Yoga. Panting. Even bug collecting. Try each one till you find one that makes your heart sing instead of just your job. If I wasn't so cold-hearted, I wouldn't mind going on a date with you. Also, any woman would be lucky-" The red haired female was quick to place her hand over her mouth and the rest of it was muffled. With a fast turn of her heel to get out of here, she saw him again. "Oh no no no, I need to hide!" Her cheeks were red, "You are so hands- OKAY!" She did some handsigns and poofed in a puff of smoke.

He was taken aback that the girl was sticking up conversation. Conversation pertaining to the goings on on what he believed to be in his head. As embarrassing as that was the frenchman was an individual that cared little of what others thought of him particularly. She took the red haired darlings compliments in stride. 'Finding a date' was never the issue. It was 'keeping' them that proved the hard part. The beautiful disaster that was his relationship with the former forge masters daughter was an enlightening experience for both of them on top of the realization that neither he nor her were ready for the implications. He, consumed by his work, ideas, and perfectionism. Her, fearful of child, fearful of her possible mates tendency to be distant, and her mates ignorance of what it meant to be a 'partner' and never taking the step towards commitment. Truth be it the frenchman believed most he was the problem and not her but the work relationship the two of them maintained even through all these years, it could be said to be a stronger bond than any marriage.
"My I hadn't considered branching out in such a manner I thank..oh?" the gal was gone. He'd always been the technical type this man. His expressiveness came from his craft and his enthusiasm came from his travels. With both feeling as if they'd achieved a capstone perhaps it was time to pursue something else. Arts Culinary, Art Crafts, Arts Mercantile. He'd mastered these among others but perchance something new like oh perhaps still art painting or something of the sort was something to work toward...or dare he consider...service as something more than a simple sommelier and craftsman?

Ever since the accursed awakening of 'the ancient' blood that dwells within him Tosokurui Ashikoki Hojo had developed something a 6th sense. Truly, a sense no different than that of what many sensory nin possess but an additional sense nonetheless. An increased awareness of his surroundings but at the same time in his childlike state a bit duller, not by nature but for the most part by choice. "Ah he's here! bloop." Young Squid would say as he opened his eyes and flashed the Ikakugan. All his equipment that pertained to attire had become unfit for wear. With only the celestial armory capable of being form fitting and even it being somewhat baggy the at the very least still had access to its contents. Looking to the top of the tower the younglings sighed. "Masu. Sai-yaaaan I don't want to walk back to the elevator. bloop. An I don't wanna move at aaaaaall."
"To-kun. Are you truly so lackadaisical and evasive of your responsibilities that an excuse such as 'does not wish to walk' is enough to discourage you." Toso would assume a rather sour face lips curled at their edges and eyes averted from the tower. "Maaaasu..." the onomatopoeia when translated known as tuna was said with such a childlike whine it was comparable to a 'uuuugh' that children make when told to clean their room. Tiredly if not reluctantly did the young Toso reach into coat and remove a pipe shaped object. He'd bring it to his lips and with an exasperation of breathe did a bubble start to grow from its end. Then a blub as the large bubble sloughed off the end and encapsulated the kage. Toso would then tuck the pipe away again. Really?"Maaaasu" he'd say as if not even going to dignify Saiken with a response. Without even getting up from the laying on his back position the bubble lifted him and slowly began to ascend and float upwards toward the towers uppermost floor.
As Nozomi made her assumed exit, from the same ceiling hole 'partially repaired mind you, when the arashikage first crashed in slaying a clone of himself the lazy bubble did float and descend through the hole. wub blub, wub blub, wub blub. Almost in a lazy heartbeat like rhythm. Inside the laid back kage child was still looking skyward. It wasn't dread that he gave off but a level of equivocal unenthusiasm that screamed I don't want to do anything right now. Then the bubble popped a bit prematurely as the kage plonked on the ground. Even unphased by what sounded like a painful thud the boy simply echoed in the room toward the ceiling. "Maaaaasu, is Kaileer here. bloop."

Though the colors he wore and the 'bloop' at the end of his sentence were also giveaways.
Standing back up, I approached cautiously. "I am," I announced, still out of his view, I presumed. It didn't seem like he wanted to put much effort into looking around anyway. "Ah... It would glow briefly and in typical magic pocket fashion would he remove a brush case and lazily open it. From inside the contents of the case almost like insects did a set of ten paint brushes come out and begin to whirr around. Almost like bees or flies almost annoyingly did they fly around Kaileer, before they were seemingly given direction and moved downward. Beneath Toso and similarly, beneath Kaileer a circle was being formed.
Comparatively to old cartoons, when the circle was finished. The feeling of the ground would vanish. Kaileer would bare witness to this first as the aloof Toso descended first at the time all the brushes seemed to return to the case as if perfectly timed. It would behave as if there was a half-second of reactionary time before Kaileer would be falling into the hole himself. Had he reacted quickly enough to look down the hole what would appear to be an empty whiteness and the Arashikage's childlike form still laying on the ground would be on the other end only facing downward instead of upward. It would be like looking into a puddle and what was beneath the surface. Otherwise, Kaileer would feel a sudden shift in equilibrium. Where one would expect to 'fall' it instead created the effect of having been 'flipped'. Where the ground he was once standing on was now the floor.
Once and when, Kaileer would join him and or get his bearings the first thing face-hugging the floor would muffle was. "Schoow whars Wannyolkuu. Fwust stwikengly owdd ting wash yoo toosh wash alwayd wit chother." Like a toilet paper tube or rather a sea lion the boy would flop an *plop* back onto his back and become easier to hear. The hole that Kaileer was standing on that had caused the flip would begin to slowly close, implying that there was no going back. (Of course, this wasn't the case, as to get back one typically only needed to have the desire to wish to go back) This wasn't the office desired but looking around at the vacant nothingness would imply if privacy was the desire it was more so achieved. "If he's dead, that would be a surprise maaasu. We shared a dislike of whales he and I. bloop." Spoken rather unempathetically, or so it would sound as most words even back then that came out of the squidling's mouth was stoic and monotonous to listen to. Toso had mentioned Isekai-Junsei before when he an Kaileer first met. After all his entire understanding of Kaileer was that he was from here to begin with having gained sentience. Of course Toso wasn't outwardly going to explain where Kaileer was currently or where this place was unless asked. To much effort for his current mindset.

Drawing another entryway in the mirrored or blank world will create a similar entryway in the real world from which to exit. The exit method isn't particularly discreet unless per say the exit was made on something hiding it or is well hidden to begin with. The world inside of [Isekai-Junsei] can then be entirely manipulated by those inhabiting it. This involves its user and any individuals who may be inside. This manifests itself in the ability to create black and white or colored structures, objects and things from sheer imagination as though the world itself was a blank canvas. Objects made with the intent to do harm require an amount of chakra to do so of an [X]-rank and will only last [1-post] thereof and will be treated as [Spiritual] for interactions. Anything made without this malicious intent otherwise will not impart a cost aside an activation but can be willed away just as easily unless a cost was paid. [Isekai-Junsei] can thusly emulate threads like a Dojo or Academy for appropriate reductions and also offer a place for individuals to compete without the threat of structural damage.
