			            Sciurus gave her a nod before leaving the room and starting planning his next move as he went down the hall. He would have Nancy call in Radiology while he found a wheelchair, and perhaps while Sammy was being looked at, he could check on other matters. It occurred oddly to the surgeon that things seemed to have slowed down; and as he passed another man in formal attire with a stethoscope, something clicked and Sciurus snapped. "YOU!" The surgeon turned back and grabbed the other doctor by his shirt, slamming him back into a wall. Quite a feat when the other man wasn't a small fry, but surprise and annoyance were instantly replaced by terror upon meeting the surgeon's garnet gaze. "Where the hell have you been?! Being scheduled on a holiday does NOT permit you the luxury of running late, or feeling lackadaisical about your job!" Sciurus let go of the man irritably to prevent any violence and started walking again before the poor medic could even protest. When it looked like the other doctor would, Sciurus stopped and glowered at him over his shoulder. "The patient in room five is mine. Don't even think about going in there, or I'll cut your intestines out and string them from my mantelpiece for next Christmas!" Sciurus starting walking again for good this time... Maybe Sammy was right about him eating something.

			            Sammy was tempted to lie back down but part of her knew she might not be able to sit back up again. It was difficult not to nod off. It was past midnight and her body was about to quit after the ordeal she'd just been through. She blinked a couple of times, taking a little longer to open her eyes again each time. Then, all of the sudden, the wall shook and she could hear a muffled holler. Now wide awake Sammy hobbled to the door and peered out, holding her injured shoulder to take the weight off it. Dr. Sciurus...? she thought to herself, hardly able to see what was going on.OOC: ~

			            That Green Gentleman Anon {Wow, that would be awkward... I mean I've never had a boyfriend at all, but really that would be a bit weird. Awww, Grandpa 13 would probably flay me alive if I thought he was adorable xD. YAY! YAY FOR FAVORITES! I hope you get to ride with him more. I'm really not sure who's my absolute favorite, between Nate, Jimmy, & Lewis and the others... Well Lewis is easier to spend time with at least, almost not as scary as the others. He seems genuinely nice & always keeps his Hybrid toasty emotion_awesome I uh... Actually gave him a Christmas card... First time I've ever done so in the time that I've been riding the buses.
  I rode with a brand new driver a while ago though, like literally he was maybe 2 years old in terms of driving, but he said a lot of the drivers do around 50 hours a week, like they must have at least 8 hour shifts. daaaamn...}Voyager stared at him now, almost heartbroken. Sure the "experiences and background" thing aside, everyone should get to go to Disney Land at least once. It was "The happiest place on earth" after all. "Oh, that's it, We're going. I am so taking ya to Disney Land if ya want! They've got rides & princesses, I think they got a water park, Oooh! And they've got the safari thing too!" Voyager was getting excited now, he really wanted Orrin to have a nice, fun day for once. Although the gentleman's concerns almost hadn't occurred to him, nevermind that the Plymouth wasn't entirely sure where Disney Land was. "Wait... Oh damn..." Voyager trailed off, thinking about this.

			            The younger physician breathed a sigh of relief once Sciurus had left him alone. It wasn't the first time he'd been late for his shift, but he'd never worked with the surgeon before and had only heard rumors. With everything going on, he was going to be lucky if he survived his shift at this rate. As the man went to go on his way, he caught sight of Sammy peeping from her room. He looked curious and was about to address her, but blanched upon seeing the room number. Before getting to the nurse station again, Sciurus tried to take a breath and calm himself. It wasn't like him to let his temper out so readily, especially when he normally had nothing against the other physician and normally wouldn't dream of arousing other people's suspicions of him. But it would only lead to more problems if he started another fight with Nancy, especially considering things were already so strained today. Nancy was on the phone behind the desk when the surgeon approached, but looked over and grabbed a notepad, switching hands on the receiver. She gave a nod to let him know whenever he was ready. Sciurus shoved aside some of the weariness creeping up on him and waited for a moment before speaking. "The young woman needs an MRI, the waitress who came in. I put her in room five and when I find a wheelchair I'll be taking her down." As the pen started writing and Nancy gave him a thumbs up he added, "And my apologies for earlier..." He spied an empty wheelchair and rushed off to get it before she could answer.

  Awwwh, that is so cute! I have never really sent any Christmas cards myself, that I can remember, but once I am my own lady in my own household, I hope that I shall~ It always felt like such an adult thing to do, somehow. ; u ;
  Ooooh yes, the shifts do get rough... My uncle sometimes goes on break for like, two hours or so, then go back to work for more long shifts. It's just stupid how they wear them out like that... Can't lead to anything good, in the end. :T)Voyager seemed so very excited about it, so even though Orrin wasn't sure what one might do in an amusement park aside from eating junkfood and sleeping on giant stuffed animals, it clearly had to be something amazing. Well, that is what he thought at first, at least... "R-rides, p-p-p-prin-c-cess- A-a-a W-WHAT park...!?" The horror! People built parks for such evil stuff? Oh, the humanity... Orrin hugged the seat for comfort, trying not to think of what horrors might be seen in such a place, but failed in doing so. All that water... WHY?

			            That Green Gentleman Anon {Meh... I guess that's one good thing about the bus drivers, I'll never have to worry about dating one because they're all obviously way older than me xD Ironically when I used to ride 1C there was another kid from Yonkers there who kept hitting on me on the ride. Only a year younger but really, he doesn't read books, doesn't know about cars, & you should really get to know people before you keep asking if they're single every 5 minutes. HE WAS THE KID, when I learned what "X-Y-Z" means. Nate taught me that, yelling at him. mrgreen
  I actually meant to give Jimmy one, but like I can hardly talk to him & Lewis has always been nice when I've gotten him. I asked him before if they ever get cards, he said once in a blue moon, sometimes he gets them, so I decided to give Lewis one instead. & If I'm still around by next Christmas, I shall look for him & hunt him down so I can give him another one! <3 That's what surprised me though; like I know some might do straight shots or break the runs up, but they've got a union! they've got the freakin SEIU, a pretty big union.}Voyager was still thinking about being stuck in the parking lot, but Orrin seemed a bit upset. "Well, yeah, the princesses from the movies are around. A lot of the movie characters are... What's the matter? Was it something I said? I think they have a water park, I'm not sure... It's a big place ya know... We can go wherever you want." The thoughts of cheating with his human form temporarily poofed as the Plymouth worried about upsetting his friend.

			            Sammy met the eye of the other doctor as Sciurus stormed off, but only for a second. Retreating back into her room she decided to sit back down and stay put. The last thing she needed was to make anything worse around there by getting involved. OOC: ~

			            (Oh, that sounds both incredibly annoying and hilarious at the same time. xD I just imagine some snotty brat bouncing up and down in the seat behind you all the way. "Love me yet? Love me yet? Date me maybe? Hey. Hey. Am I handsome now? Boyfriend material? Hey. Hey. Hey. Want some chewing gum? Hey. You. LOVE ME."
  Yeah, and the weirdest thing is, their employers can't really afford to let them strike, so it should not be so hard...? D: But then again, I guess they can always threaten to sack the lot and get new people willing to work under any conditions at all... I know that one problem here is that some of the drivers keep agreeing to anything, so that the ones who do complain doesn't get enough back-up. So stupid... :T)So it was true. Water park. Who in their sane mind would ever think of such a thing? The zombie curled a little tighter to the seat. Apparently, they were going to a huge, scary place with water. That may have princesses. What if a princess drowned? What if he drowned? Orrin shivered, but he didn't want his friend to know that he was scared, and especially not since he seemed to love the place himself, for some bizarre reason that Orrin could not see. "Mmmm... L-le-lets not g-go to the... Th-th-the wa-water p-part, then..." The green guy scratched his neck, trying to ignore the thought of such horrors as massive, watery depths, bitey animals and huge areas to get lost in. "...Y-you... You're g-going w-w-with me, r-right...?" Going alone, he would doubtfully make it out alive, Orrin thought.

			            {Actually, it's the code for Leeks. But whose to know?}The younger physician was almost relieved when the woman went back into her room, and hastily went to find his next patient before the surgeon returned to make good on his threat. "Radiology, four-six-two-nine." He briefly wondered what the woman was in for, as he recognized the code for an MRI. Doctor Sciurus meanwhile... Had probably had too much coffee and too many straight work days. Some of his usual indifference had gone out the window after threatening the other doctor, and despite always being strict and serious about his work, part of the man just couldn't take it anymore. Now he was in the mood to give someone a heart attack. Let someone be afraid of him! Perhaps they might take better care not to end up in the hospital in the future. Whatever was going on with the surgeon, maybe there was a reason doctors usually didn't do everything for their patients. Sciurus found a wheelchair and did all the necessary looking it overs. Just to be safe he made sure no one else entered the hall for a good few minutes and made a mental marker of room five's position... And then the doctor took off running with it like a medical edition of NASCAR.

			            Sammy let her legs hang over the side of the table and she kicked her feet to and fro, feeling a little nervous. The doctor was clearly on edge and she hated being part of the problem to push him over. The paper beneath her crunched with every motion. Then, things got quiet. Too quiet. She stilled and looked toward the door. Something of a hunch made her get up again and peek out. The first thing she saw and the first thing she heard was Dr. Sciurus letting off some steam - running toward the room in reckless abandon with the chair, its wheels screeching on the linoleum floor. Sammy's eyes cut wide and she retreated back again, up on the table, and scooted all the way back till she was flat against the wall, shaking and terrified. W-w-what the heck...?! oxO;OOC: ~

			            That Green Gentleman Anon {Almost, & he really does, every time I saw the kid he be "He pretty, you still single?" Or good lookin' . Lucky I didn't smack him, but I wouldn't cause Nate any trouble on his bus. (I swear the whole time, I never even noticed until Nate called him on it) "x-y-z" Means examine your zipper, usually cause your fly is open. but when I first met the kid he was sitting on my right at the bus stop, I was mostly ignoring him waiting for the bus & looking on my left. & the kid was even sitting on the top of the bench so he was higher than me... I STILL never noticed his fly was open until we got on the bus & Nate yelled at him. But of course first thing I did notice when we got on was that Nate got a new haircut. xD & it was worse because neither one of us knew what "x-y-z" meant. I thought it was just a joke or something & they knew each other, till Nate literally had to say about his zipper. Made my day.
  NO. No strike please. I will kill someone if the Beeline goes on strike, but not one of the drivers. Wouldn't hurt them. & sure, I mean they're some of the best drivers in the county probably, it can't be easy to train new people. But I know they do have to be really careful they don't mess up and get fired, Lot of pressure to be perfect all the time ;3; & it really is a dangerous job with long hours and all the people. I hope they get paid enough & taken care of at least /huggles poor drivers/}Voyager was nervous as Orrin shifted around. "You ok Orrin? Didn't mean to upset ya, if I did. Need the heat up?" He tried getting his thoughts back on track. What was it again? Oh yes, his cheating the parking lot... Voyager did have a limited "human form" but there was still a lot he had to learn about it. "Nope, we don't have to go there. We'll go wherever you want. And yeah, I think I can. Cars normally have to stay in the parking lot, but I can run around lookin' like a person for a while when I need to." A thought occurred to the Plymouth then, "Hey, you want if Sciurus ever comes back with the peanut butter we ask him to come with us? Maybe not. Seems like the doc went to harvest the peanuts himself."

			            {xD /Is bad/}Sciurus was enjoying his time zooming about with the wheelchair. It wasn't anything like speeding off recklessly with Barracuda the way they used to, but the speed was refreshing nonetheless. Another nurse went to stick her head out of the door and drew it back in hastily, almost having a heart attack; And the surgeon's naughty grin cracked into a full out psychotic smile. A vision of running down that younger busybody only made him happier, but sadly the hall was a short one. The doctor could go pretty fast with his long legs, but now he had to slow down and inertia was not on his side. He stopped himself running the best he could as room five approached and threw down the lock on the wheelchair, but unlike a stick-shift, wheelchairs don't work so well. Sciurus hung on for dear life as it jerked, one hand grabbing onto the wall bumper as hard as he could, and he still ended up a few feet passed the room. The surgeon allowed himself a moment to laugh at it all. He would have to try this more often... When the hospital wasn't as crowded and he wasn't on duty. Now back to professional mode, he calmly wheeled back to Sammy's room and knocked before sticking his head in. "Miss Sammy?"

			            The knock on her door made her skin leap, as if it hadn't been through enough. Wincing at the shot of pain that followed, she eventually talked herself into moving again, hobbling over to the door and somehow managing to open it herself. Dr. Sciurus was back, appearing as if nothing were of the ordinary, like he didn't just threaten a man or come barreling down the hallway like a drag race with an invisible opponent. Sammy quickly decided she could play along. "Oh, you're back."OOC: ~

			            Except for the slight smile tugging at his mouth and the mischievous glint in his eye, Sciurus appeared absolutely normal with his wheelchair. Just a normal day at the hospital, right? "Yes, with a wheelchair as promised. How are you feeling? They are ready and waiting for you down in Radiology, if you're up to it." His gaze trailed on her arm, as if assessing if anything had changed since he was away.

			            Sammy returned the smile, but most of it was forced. "Oh, y-yes." she replied, turning around and leaning back carefully to sit in the chair. There was next to no chance she'd be able to balance her injured arm on the armrest now that it was right there in front of her, so she just folded it in her lap and reluctantly let go. She winked an eye shut and winced, but miraculously didn't make a peep this time. "Little sore," she said in a strained voice, "...but fine..."OOC: ~
