Also, I'm not requiring you guys to roll them RIGHT NOW, but when you guys do begin trying to sleep and start taking watches, everyone please roll me 5d10. I'm not saying what it's for yet, and how many of the dice are being used (which will vary person to person).
Please roll, even if you do not take a watch.
Note, that the individual results matter, not the total.

The rain now begins to come down, almost in sheets from the get-go. It makes the dry spots within the temple VERY obvious VERY quickly. Water seems to be even getting into the hearth, as if fate is intentionally screwing with the lot of you.
I'm sure it will be asked; Asako Shusui's body is fine.
Kagae's light source is down to two parchments by this point.

As Masuyo began to pray to the kami and whisper to them, it would not take long for one to begin whispering back. A small entity that only she could see would make itself evident, as even Fubuki seemed oblivious to its presence.

Well, between staying up and then exhausting herself, Miyako wasn't up for a second night of 'watch' so she let the boys handle it. After all, she was probably going to need her energy tomorrow or soon. At least she hoped there was a reason for her being here. Yawning, she curled up in her blanket and hoped the little fox would come join her while his mistress was busy so she'd have a little warmth to keep the chill away.

Earth-bound though she may be, air Kami always made her giggle. It was probably an interesting spectacle too, considering she couldn't go off on her own (or at least didn't want to) and thus the entire party was suddenly subject to her one-sided conversation.

Shortly after settling in, Miyako's nerves calm down enough for her to realize her hunger. Settling on something simple, and ate a share of her rations that Kojiro had been so kind as to provide for her.

Kojiro looked at the darkening skies around him and let out an exasperated sigh. "Between the wind and the rain, whatever's out there may not be able to see much. I'm going to chance it and go out and get firewood."
The Scorpion went out to search for wood. Although he wanted to hurry, Kojiro knew his best bet was to get useful materials for a fire.

Given that they were doing two days worth of travel, Denbe would eat enough to take care of the first- the latter half he'd hold out on to make sure he had plenty of rations to eat some in the morning, before any fighting started.
Watching Kojiro get up, he'd decide that if the Crab wasn't letting go, he might as well help if the Scorpion didn't come back soon. After all, he supposed, they couldn't burn the body without wood, either.

Kojiro beats the TN, but didn't declare any raises, which I was secretly holding out on that they would be necessary to actually find any wood. As such, Kojiro finds none.
It's what he does find that matters. In one fairly sheltered ruined hut, he finds a gruesome scene of large dark stains upon the floor, barely visible at all in this light. In addition, he stumbles across the sheath to Asako Shusui's katana, his wakizashi (in total), his traveling pack, even his badge, all strewn about recklessly inside this building. At a quick glance, it would look like all his belongings were here, or at least clever simulacrums of them.
The storm seems to pick up suddenly, however. Kojiro, you'll need to give me a TN 15 Strength or Stamina roll to make your way back to where the others are without getting bested by nature (you don't HAVE to try). Everyone else, Kojiro's been gone for about an hour now, and the storm has increased in ferocity.
