Coremean wiped the sweat off of his forehead with his sleeve. He had managed to gather and weave together enough grass to make a ten foot long rope, excluding what Alaci and Andarlo had contributed. Testing his handmade rope, he tied it to a tree and tugged. The grass didn't fray... Yet. He tugged again, except harder. The rather precarious robe still didn't fray. He showed it to Andarlo and Alaci. "Is this fine for now?"

Andarlo took the rope and looked at its design. He was amazed at how well Coremean had been able to construct it. "Coremean, this rope you made seems like as if it is better than most true rope I've ever seen!" Andarlo said. "So what's your plan? Oh wait, Rayne ran off to go get some rope." Andarlo thought about it. "Well it might be a good idea to have some extra rope."

Coremean glanced over to the rest of the group. "True, and at least they stopped arguing."

"Whatever," Midna sulked. The odds of her ever getting her real body back- and these humans' chance of winning this war- were diminishing by the second. She sunk into someone's shadow- didn't know whose- and sat there.
"Oi..." Zelda rubbed her eyes. "She's not always this moody. She's just mad..." She trailed off. She didn't want to reveal Midna's secret. Not yet.
"They will not escape me..." Zant stood in Faron's clearing. To get to Faron, the pathetic Light Spirit, they'd have to go through him.

Rayne cursed loudly as he popped the top of a crate open and looked inside. A length of coiled rope was buried inside, along with other various items that didn't catch his eye. He slung the rope over his shoulder, then jumped over the count and towards the door.

Coremean sat back. He had wrapped up his handmade rope and now it dangled from his waist. As an automatic precaution procedure, he started to sharpen and test his arrows. The ones that snapped or the ones that broke while he was doing this were the ones he would definitely not use for his little stunt.

Alaci just nodded, watching Coremean. "So, what exactly are you trying to do?" Alaci asked him. Though the grass rope was well made, it was still made of grass and Alaci wasn't sure if it would hold for to long. Alaci stood up and brushed hair out of her face. "God this is getting annoying," Alaci thought irritated.

"Well," Coremean began, listlessly testing his arrows, "The bridge is out, and we need to find a way to get across. The gap between the ledges isn't that far, considering the ledge won't break. I handmake nearly everything I have with me right now, so they are pretty sturdy, due to my constant practice. But I have three arrows my little sister bought for me from the best blacksmith in my country. They are strong enough and durable enough to withstand nearly anything, but the kicker is that I only have three of these special arrows. I was going to use two of them to make a makeshift "bridge" so to speak, so that Link could find the children." Coremean dropped his head. "It would also help me find my sister faster," he murmurred under his breath.

Andarlo listened to Coremeans' plan and heard him say something about his sister. He then thought to himself, "Ah ha, so that's why he's here with Link and the others. His sister is missing." Andarlo sat there thinking and watched Midna disappear into a shadow. "Hey Coremean, you said something about your sister, what happened?"

Coremean kicked at a rock, sending it rolling towards a tree. "Well, six years ago, my little sister was kidnapped by some monsters that ransacked my village. She's the only family I have left, so I left my small village to go find her."

"I see, I'm sorry." Andarlo said sincerely. "Ya know, when I lived in my homeland I failed to protect one that I had sworn to keep safe. I felt such despair, but you know what? I bet if we help each other we will be able to find your sister together. I know we haven't known each other long, but what do you say?"

"Great." Andarlo looked down the road towards the village where Rayne had gone to get some rope. He hoped he didn't do anything rash. He may not have known the man for very long, and he hadn't given him any reason to not trust him, but there was just something about Rayne that kept Andarlos' attention. "I think I will keep a close eye on him for a while." Andarlo said to himself.

The thief had managed to slip out of the house quickly before anyone else could see him. He made his way back down the path, in front of Link's house, and back towards Coremean and Andarlo. "I got some rope," he mumbled in a sour tone. He hated being caught stealing in such a small village.

Coremean smiled. "Perfect. May I see the rope?" Taking the rope from Rayne, he tied one end to one of the arrows, and tied the other end to the other arrow. With all of his strength and speed, he plunged the first arrow into their side of the ledge. Notching the second arrow into his bow, he aimed it at the other side. When he had pulled the arrow as far back as he could, he let the arrow fly straight into the other side. The arrow itself had been wedged so deep that only half of it was still visible. Slightly satisfied, he ran across the narrow rope to test it. He made it safely to the other side without any of the arrows giving way. He grinned from ear to ear and called the rest of the group to come too.
