 Gage laughed and swept her up in his arms, returning the kiss as he lifted her off her feet. After a long moment, he set her down and took her hand with a soft laugh. "Well, I figured what better way to restart our relationship after being apart for so long, than right where we started in the first place?"

Stella giggled and took his hand in hers, walking to the entrance of the carnival. After they bought their tickets and walked in she instantly started looking for the game that Gage had played to win Gage Jr. After searching for a bit she finally found it and pulled him over to it. It was the same water gun game he had done before to win Jr, so she figured it would be perfect.. "I don't wanna go on the Ferris wheel until dark." She giggled, remembering the first time they went to a carnival and she nearly had a panic attack up at the top. But that was then and this was now.. She hoped that things had changed for her.. Even in the slightest.

Gage nodded as he followed her around the carnival. "I wasn't planning on going on it until after dark anyway silly..." he wrapped his arms around her and looked up, noting a pink match to Gage Jr. "Hmm, guess one of us better win her." he said, nodding to the bear.

Stella looked at the guy and pulled out her wallet, handing him the money for two games. She wanted to give it a shot at the game. When she was younger it was one of her all time favorite things to do when she went to a carnival, even if she sucked at it. Slinging her purse over her shoulder she sat down and looked at Gage. "You said one of us." She giggled and pulled him down on the chair next to her.

Gage chuckled and let her pull him down onto the chair, he sighed softly as he sat and looked at the gun for a long moment before he picked it up and took a deep breath, focusing in on the target in front of him.

Stella hadn't even thought of the possibility that playing this game could of made him uncomfortable. After eighteen months of having to do something like this it could take quite a toll on someone. Without thinking the guy started the game and Stella pulled the trigger to shoot the stream of water into the hole to make the balloon blow up. She looked over at Gage and smiled widely, causing her gun to move and no longer spray into the hole. When she looked back she cursed under her breath and aimed again.

In all reality, the game didn't bother Gage, it just gave him an advantage over Stella... He'd been shooting a gun for how long while he was gone...? Soon enough, the machine was filled and his balloon popped, spraying water. The man behind the counter frowned, saying something about rarely having balloons pop.

Stella squealed and jumped onto Gage's lap. Kissing his cheek with a giggle. "That's not fair! You had practice!" She giggled and turned his face towards her, kissing him deeply. A smile pulled onto her lips as the guy mumbled a question as to which stuffed animal prize he wanted.

Gage laughed and shook his head as he looked over at her. Looking back up at the other man that ran the booth, he pointed to the pink bear and smiled "Yes, I do have more practice than you do... But, we got the bear, regardless...."

Stella smiled and and stood up, slinging her bag over her shoulder and smiling at Gage as he got the big pink bear. She giggled and took the bear from the man so Gage wouldn't have to carry it. Kissing his neck softly she held her hand out for him and giggled. "Very true. What should we do now?"

Gage shrugged and then grinned. "How about corndogs and funnel cake... Should waste enough time that it'll be getting dark and we can get in line for the ferris wheel?"

Stella nodded in agreement and they went off in search of the nearest corn dog and funnel cake stand. Finally finding one she pulled him into the line. There were maybe two people ahead of them since the line seemed to be moving steadily. She rested her head on his shoulder and smiled at him. "This is perfect.."

Stella giggled and frowned as they soon at the front of the line. She held onto to Stell-Bear, her finger tips brushed against her stomach and she looked down. Remembering their conversation from earlier and smiled widely. Looking back up at the person in the stand she asked for just a regular corn dog, looking to Gage so he could order what he wanted.

Gage ordered his own couple of corn dogs and stepped aside as they waited for their food, allowing the people behind them to order once he'd paid for his and Stella's food. He leaned down, kissing her cheek, close to the edge of her mouth as he sighed softly, cuddling close up to her as he relaxed while they waited.
