Yuki watched Leopold for a while before falling asleep as well. Reiko sighed and then looked at Leopold. "(You and your son seem to have a weird relationship.)" Kiru got up and decided to take a walk. He walked into the town and wandered to the noticed board. It read "Teacher Wanted: For Basic / Advanced Sparring. Please apply with Kingdom Key Academy." The long haired male took the flyer and then rushed back home.

Reiko nodded as she looked at the baby and then back at Leopold. Kiru arrived back at the house and walked to the yard. "I picked up a flyer while I was out. Something for Nami's academy. They need a teacher." He looked at Leopold. "Interested?"

Leopold scoffed. " what would that key wielding brat shack want with my old hide? I doubt that place even recognizes the bostaff as a weapon. Bloody shame really," he said flipping his staff in his hand. " why don't you do it Kiru? You certainly fit the part. Older than the students and better than them at the weapon they use," he said chuckling. " unless they want the children running it. Chaos my friend. That's what happens when you let the psychos run the nut house," he said.

Kiru seemed to be thinking it over. "That's a good point, Leopold. Plus, you two could have your house back." He smirked and then sighed. "But we don't have a way to the academy." Reiko rolled her eyes and put Rice down. "(As you say.)"

Leopold chuckled. " i can't really respond to that without sounding like a jerk or a kiss a** Kiru. As for your ride, Patricia's father is Cid. He's the gummi ship guy around here. She could probably hook you up with a ship. If we're really desperate we could cram you two into a ship of our moogle friend. I doubt it'd be comfortable though," he said. He shot a cold glare at Reiko for her comment.

"Perfect! I'll talk with Cid then. Thank you, Leopold." Kiru said, grateful for his friend. "Maybe I can get a family dorm there." Reiko returned the cold glare before grinning. "(I'm beginning to think you don't like me.)"

" with namine included I assume? The child deserves to have the family live together with them for some time. The little one needs other role models besides the parents as well. I'm sure she'll love it," he said. He looked to reiko. " (You are a former employee of the guy who nearly killed my pride and sole heir. Not that that matters anymore. I'm not used to strangers being on my property I guess,)"

Kiru nodded. "Yes. That is, if she wants to. She will, however, be visiting us everyday." He grinned. Lerana woke up and walked over to them. "Hey honey." Kiru kissed his wife and explained the situation to her. "That's great!" Lerana exclaimed. "Finally! We can live in a safe place to for Yuki to grow up! Nami will be so pleased!" "(My former employer also gave me the gift.)" Reiko stopped and closed her eyes, balling her fists to prevent her from crying. She turned away from the group. "(I never asked to become what I am today. He picked me from a thief clan and practically forced me to kill.)" She said before facing him, her red eyes crying for the first time in years. "(Do you think I ENJOYED killing for him?!)" She yelled at him. Lerana frowned and took Yuki inside.

Leopold sighed. " you guys go on with your plan. I'll stay here," he said to kiru and lerana. He looked to reiko. " (I'm not here for your sob story. I have enough of my own as it is. I couldn't care less about your past or your employers or your clan. You are here as my student and nothing else. The point is you're not one of them anymore and you can change for the better. When life gives you lemons, eat them raw. Don't let people sugar coat everything and tell you it's alright. Humanity as a species is severely flawed. We are slaves to emotion and personal gain. The friends we make and the choices we make are all ours. So quit blaming things on a troubled past or evil people. s**t happens. What's done is done and should no longer affect you now. Get over it and grab a staff. The stretching and meditation part is a bunch of crap anyway," he said bluntly.

Patricia rolled over in her sleep and fell off the couch. She painfully stood up. " Ow! I really ought to stop sleeping on the couch. That thing is not meant for people who toss and turn," she said rubbing her arm. She looked up to lerana and smiled. " i nearly forgot you two were here. What do you need?" she said smiling. gah! This bloody hurts! I sure hope its not a fracture. That be embarrassing, she thought.

Reiko looked to the strange man. "(Who the hell are you?)" She said in a foreign language. Lerana scratched behind her head. "Well, Kiru may have found a job at the academy, and we don't have any way there. We were hoping maybe we could get Cid, your father to help us." Rice fled to a safe distance.
