I like most of it, but they toned down things a bit.

I'm really digging this book. Very easy to read, though you're right, they toned some things down, but overall easier for new players of L5R to get into, since it's not a ******** like the 3rd edition book.

Yeah. It's my second favorite "4th Edition" At the moment, as far as those go. My first favorite, is A Time of War (Which is secretly Mechwarrior 4)

Kaori is an Earth Shugenja. The kami of the earth love her so much that they will do what she says. However, the kami seem to love you more, seeing how fast the ditch your digging for yourself is coming along.

well, I meant with your previous comment. Still, buck up! I doubt she has a better earth ring than you, so you should be able to mess her up pretty badly when you hit.

Well as much as I respect shugenjas but if they can replicate what I can make in seconds which would take me days it makes me a unhappy panda.

Separating the two ditches here.
Kaori's Tetsubo only lasts for X amount of time and burns a spell slot.
Kagae's Tetsubos are likely to be family heirlooms.
If Kage should hit Sayako with his Katana, Sayako should be bloodied badly.
