Askari's own ears flatened against her head with her tail against the outline of her lower body, "You'll think it's stupid, Denji..." she said softly; she didn't know, but she could guess.

Askari nodded, but put her face in her hands anyway. "I...I dunno...I feel..well, lonely..." she said quietly. "I told you it was stupid.."

Envy came out of the forest a few minutes later. She was a fast hunter as she had a small gofer in her mouth. She looked at Askari sadly as she sat down and placed the gofer down.

Askari looked between her fingers at Envy, then at the gopher. "Heh...I see you found something to eat," she said with a small smile, removing her hands from her face; there wasn't a clue to even see she had almost cried.

Envy tail wagged as she bolted forward and tackled Askari and started licking her. She stopped and nuzzled her face on her cheek. It was the first time she had ever done that with anybody. But it looked like Askari needed it more than anybody.

Denji wasn't sure if he should have been hurt be her words. Did she feel lonely with him around? He was kind of hoping they had a... bond with each other. After considering it, he did feel kind of hurt. What was he doing wrong? He didn't let the truth show at all but instead, he watched Envy. "Where were you?"

Askari smiled at Envy, "Just like a little sister, if I ever knew what having one was like," she said. She pondered what she had said only moments before Envy had arrived back. She didn't feel lonely with Denji, but she wouldn't-no, couldn't-tell him that.

Askari closed her eyes, not bothering to get up from the ground, "You'll have to borrow Aki's, she's the only one that I know who has one." she said. There was a slight twinkle on her cheek, but it disappeared just as fast as it was noticeable. But only one. Only one.

"Crap, where is she?" Denji hissed angrily. His mood just completely snapped with the new situation. No ocarina meant no entry into Zora's domain. Askari's comment hadn't help his case in the least either.

Askari opened her eyes and glanced at Denji, then got up. The blonde gently laid her hand on Denji's arm, "What's wrong, Denji?" she asked. Now she knew that she had hurt him, and she was sorry about that. Very sorry.

"Getting my hands on the ocarina. Without that, the Zoras won't let us in." Denji growled, though it was only half the truth. He had to figure out how to voice the other half.

Askari looked to the ground and brought her hand back to the side, "That's all..? Alright, then we best find Aki.." she said.

Denji shifted into his cat form and sprinted up ahead and away from Askari. It was his way of showing that something was still wrong. He found Aki not too far off on her horse. She had to take the long way around to bring her horse over the bridge.
