He smiled and his eyes twinkled off in the far distance at her question. "Ah, Miss Rosette, I want to be a lawyer, to follow in the footsteps of my mother and be a just individual fighting for others!" he said with such passion and spirit. Haruhi chuckled softly at Miss Rosette's statement about his mother. He really did miss his mother, but Haruhi was determined to follow his dreams. "Miss Kairi, you know you've never bothered me before. Please do come by with anything you may need... that is, unless one of the other hosts has made a ridiculous request of me and has sent you over here..." Haruhi then stood up and stretched his short arms. He walked over to the new guest and held her hand. "Hello, Miss Lumiere. I am Fujiouka Haruhi of Class 1-A. May I be of assistance to you today?"

Haruhi glanced at the paper. "Ah, well, that truly depends on where the theta is located on the triangle, is it not? Remember that wherever the theta is, if you are looking for the sine, you take the opposite side of the angle and put it over the hypotenuse. The cosine is with the adjacent side of the angle and put it over the hypotenuse, and the tangent is only the sine divided by the cosine. Obviously, their reciprocals would just be the opposite of all those. And equilateral triangles cannot really have a sine, cosine, and tangent. Remember, trigonometry only applies to right-angle triangles; well, I suppose you could find them, but why would you? All the angles equal 60 degrees, so what would be so hard about finding the sides? And isosceles triangles are just 45-45-90 triangles. So the congruent sides equal one, and the hypotenuse equals the square root of two. I hope that helps." {ooc: (seriously, I did this from the top of my head; I'm a whiz when it comes to geometric trigonometry!)

((I'm in Honors Geometry, but I am a freshman, so I never heard of a theta. I did well in the chapter, but it took me a while to figure it out my teacher's way. Then after reading yours it made more sense. We would find the angle then label each side O, A, and H. Opposite, Adajacent, and Hypotenuse. It was so we could use SohCahToa. But my teacher is, or at least should be, considered insane.))

{ooc: Really? Oh, theta is just the angle you are looking for; sorry about that. It has been three years since I've taken geometry. I am a junior taking AP Calculus right now, and it's kicking me in the butt. But I had an amazing geometry teacher in eighth grade.}
