Omnileech Undakai Slim95 Undakai Slim95 Early 1930's I believe. Can't remember the specifics for me life. *scours her brain* I'm just proud that my memory was capable of recalling anything at all about the date. =w= 1948 In 1949 it was published and released to the masses. Ha! I was close enough for a bit of self-satisfaction. sweatdrop Now you tell me what the paperweight represented. ^_^ Wouldn't know. I haven't read that book yet. It's been on my "I'll read it when I get around to it" list since I first thought about reading it in 11th grade (I probably would have read it if I had been introduced to it in 6th or 7th grade...but by 11th grade my eyes were already shot...now I have to wear glasses if I'm going to read for an extended period of time) YOU NEVER READ 1984???? And you post in ED- sometimes? Come on! I get plenty of information about the book, but that one in particular is one that, while I've had every intention of reading (I even feel guilty for not having read it) I simply haven't gotten around to it.

Wow, I didn't know that missing one book disqualified you from posting in the ED. Honestly, I didn't think it was all that great anyway...

Really? I devoured that book. biggrin
Only one part really lost my interest, and that's because it was almost a full chapter dedicated to describing the paradoxes within the Party....

People mention it all the freaking time and it's annoying. Anyways, Undakai, ask Pockybot to mail a copy to you since he has one copy of the book for every day of the month and reads through them on a daily basis.

Or you could hit up the local goodwill/salvation army/used bookstore. You can typically get a used copy for a nickel. While you're at it, you can pick Ayn Rand's books and a little Michael Crichton! -Tsuji

I also hear he gets really into hate week except he hates the president, zionists, intellectuals, elites, globalists, neocons and all sorts of others for all the world's problems.

Bah...Your totally wrong omni... pockybot Undakai I've recently been informed that you own one copy of the book "1984" for every day of the month, and wanted to know if you could lend me one of your extra copies, as I have not had the chance to grace my eyes upon this masterpiece's glorious pages. Your generosity would be greatly appreciated. whoah, I dont even own one copy of 1984^^ Who said that? I have often said the modern times reflect very distinctly something out of Orwelle's vision of 1984! //cory
