He'll be back...he left to get stuff set up for the party...Kero's asleep, and my Fortuny is holding down the fort...so I can hang around, if need be...

Mica shakes his head in negation. "No... no... it's just he has been here for so long now, but for a time there he was gone quite a bit. A few days here, a few there. Never gone for long periods of time, but fairly often. And once he came back in pretty bad shape... exhaustion mostly, but he was also cut up pretty bad... only he wouldn't tell us what or where he had been... asked only that when he did need to go if we'd keep an eye or the cub for him. Not for about a year though. He's been home for nigh on a year, wouldn't ye say, Shar?"
The healer nods seriously. "Perhaps he is finally listening to me. I kept telling him if he kept that up he was going to leave the cub an orphan."
