Feeling slightly embarassed, Ada apologized. "I am so sorry! I assumed they were all yours." She said to David. She was glad that the kids had found her comment funny. She could not help but to laugh as well. "Well, I am glad to meet you all." She responded to them. What if one of them is infected? She thought to herself, but then settled down. I'll just have to take their word. She listened to them talk but out of the corner of her eye, she could see that Nikita and Eri had not left yet. While still trying to pay attention, she grabbed her water bottle and threw it down to Nikita. She hoped he'd understand that she was trying to tell him to hurry it up. She turned her attention back to Kalila as she spoke. Even in the darkness, she could tell that Nicholas and Kalila looked very much alike, and that Kalila spoke the most out of anyone in the group.
"A fortified house?" She asked, slightly amazed that they were prepared for the outbreak. "That's something to be quite proud of." She continued to listen at what they had to say, but then interrupted them. "'Strength in numbers' no longer applies to this situation. The more people you carry, the more vulnerable you let yourself become. Physically and emotionally, too many people can hinder your group." She said as she thought hard. "But, we will go with you. We have no food here, so either way we have to leave. As for the stuff you are looking for, Nikita usually takes care of that. But I will gladly show you around downstairs and allow you to look for yourself. You may restock and carry as much as you can. As for the silencers and the heavier stuff..." She said with a coy smile. "These are in a large, dark brown crate downstairs. And I will only trust David with these."
Nikita stared at the switchblade that Eri was holding in front of her. "You keep that. Just in case. Ok?" He said, winking at her. He could still tell that Eri's fragile body was trying to fight off this virus. She was getting weak, and she would slow him down. Out of nowhere, a bottle landed a few inches away from his left foot. He instinctively looked up to see where it came from and saw Ada talking to the new people on the roof. I get it. He thought sheepishly to himself. I'll hurry up. Focusing on Eri once again, he made sure that there weren't any zombies too near him. Once he made sure, he squatted in front of Eri. "Get on my back kid. Trust me. It'll be easier for both of us." He told her with a smile even though his thighs were slightly burning from going up and down the stairs in the shop. "It'll be like going for a walk." He said, trying to reassure her.

Eri nodded and climbed on his back. She sighed slightly and looked blankly at his neck. "..." She was tempted, but she turned her head the opposite direction. She relaxed and ended up falling asleep on his back, exhausted from her internal battle against the virus that threatened to take over her body.

After all of the talk about the plan was finished, and Nina led Crismon into a room for sleep, Thomas began to decide what role he would play in the plan once they made it to Wal-Mart.
Although it may not look like it, I am very strong...But I can't handle a gun...and two daggers won't do much for stopping and erraticating the zombies inside... So I guess I'm best fit for barricading, but if need be, I can exterminate...
What if there are survivors...? Once we get there should we clean the place to make sure we don't get infected? Would there be a way to do that...?
All of it was too overwhelming for Thomas, especially since he was so tired. He had bags under his eyes, they were a dark shadey color, in contrast to the rest of his skin. He yawned and decided he would stay up, waiting for The two groups to make it here. He didn't want them to come, only to find some sleeping deadbeats...
"I hope Nina stays up" thomas whispered to himself
"It's going to be a long night.." Thomas moaned.

"Yes, fortified." Kalila repeated, sounding very far away. Mentally, she was far away. She just caught Ada's words every now and then. She was still freaking out about Mizuki. He's on ground level with those things! There were so many of them. Has he made it to higher ground? "She's a Zombie conspiracy type of person. She's been prepared way before any of this started. Pretty hardcore." She added with a smile, deciding it was best to shake the thoughts out of her mind. Thinking of Mizuki led her to start thinking of her parents. She was so unsure of what happened or was happening to them. She could literally feel the depression setting in. She was the type of person that once started thing of pessamistic things, could only think pessamistically. She found it best to concentrate on what was going on right now. Sure, bottling up emotions wasn't a good thing... But, what else could she do at the moment. "Yeah... But you still have more fire power... More angles to fight with." Kalila said defensively. "Plus being alone would not help anyone emotionally... Yeah losing people hurts.... But that's just more insentive to keep them alive. Unless they were anti-social to start with..." She mumbled. "Glad to here you're comin' along. We'll need the fire-power." Nicholas said with a nod, feeling grateful she didn't eat his head for contradicting her. This time he had shot Kalila a look that read "Show some respect." He looked to Alex and David to see there reactions and then looked back at Ada. "Thank you very much ma'am." He said with a smile.
"I agree..." Kalila piped up and sheathed her katana. The movement designed to whip of blood from the blade didn't work so well due top how thick and old with was. Instead, when it was put into the sheath it gathered in all it's groady glory near the handle. Kalila noticed this time. Nicholas was already wrinkling his nose in disgust. "The guy who ran off, Mizuki, we need to meet up with him at GreenLane Food Mart, that's not to far from here. After we meet up with him," She didn't mention a thing about her nagging doubts of survival. She wanted to show she fully believed he was alright. "We head to Nina's... We would have to wait for you cousin and the child to return, right?" She asked retorically. "Um... Could we," She said with an arm movement including their group "get cleaned up a little?" She said grabbing her arm at the elbow and looking at the ground awkwardly. She included these words in her last breath, to get a quick answer and avoid awkwardness. Nicholas nodded in agreement. He, first off, wanted light. The darkness made him very exposed and unsafe. Secondly, he wanted to clean off his gun and fix it up a bit. He was excited to add new features and keeping it filthy was a sure way of getting it jammed when he needed it most. Lastly... He really wanted to get rid of this cold sweat that he accumulated earlier. He was too young to give off bodily oders, but he still felt gross. "Soap and water for my hands and face would do wonders right now." He commented to himself. Sure he was wearing gloves, but it was more of a mental thing. "Freakin' go David! I want a silencer!" Nicholas yelled at the scientist loudly. He was never an outside person anyway.
At the house Nina sneezed at, what seemed to her, random. "Someone's talking about me..." She muttered to herself jokingly. Garath spoke. "Oh yes! Go. Sleep... All of us will need our strength when time comes." She commented. She looked over her shoulders to the stairs and living room. "You can either sleep on the couch in the living room or the bed in the guest room." She said crossing her arms. "No boys sleep in my room or my fathers room. Crimson seems extremely exausted, so I'm leaving the room to her for now." She said looking at the group left. "I don't know when the others are coming back... None of them contacted me yet. So for now it seems we might be heading off in the morning or afternoon,. depending on when they get here. So for now, if they are exausted when they get back... Me, Kalila, and Jain got my room. You guys decide who sleeps in the living room and guest room." She said with a wave of her hand. She looked at the grop. Reshion seemed just as tired as Garath. "Anyways, I'm not sleeping. I know this place is awesomely fortified..." She said with a bragging grin. "But something could go wrong. In which case we need someone awake and ready. Seeing as this is my house, I'll be the one. Plus we don't need our other members to come and see all of us sleeping, now do we?" She said echoing Thomas's thoughts, though she didn't know it. Thomas mumbled to himself, though Nina couldn't make out what exactly he said, and then commented about the night. "Yeah... It is going to be a long night young man!" She said with mock authority. She laughed. "All my friends fates are left in the hands of themselves and men I don't know too well..." She said, thinking about Mizuki and Terry. "Well anyways, you sleeping anytime soon? If you are then, please, Can you tell me what you want to do before hand... So I have some sort of plan...?" She asked Thomas.

Thomas listened to Nina intently as she, pretty much voiced exactly what he was thinking. It was kind of odd to him at first, because usually people were never on the same page as him, he assumed it was because he thinks alot faster than most people... But not Nina.
I guess it's re-assuring to know that there's somebody here I can count on to make good decisions when I'm unable. I think I can trust Nina with my life, but I still want to be in charge of myself for a while.
"Nina, I had planned on staying up. I don't want to wake up to dead friends and zombie hoards, and I usually don't sleep much anyway..."
Who am I kidding, today has been one of the most draining days I've had in my WHOLE life.
Thomas picked up his backpack, laying in the corner of the room, and looked for anything that could give him a zip of energy.
Tylenol, T-shirts, Pills for Insomnia, Various other medical supplies... Nothing to help keep me awake.
It was then he noticed somehing under his T-shirt, it was 3 bottles of Mountain Dew Gamer Fuel. One was half gone, the others were still un-opened.
"Hey Nina, how are you with caffine? As in, how long can you go before you crash?" Thomas said, holding the 3 bottles to his side.

Garath nodded when she told hiom where he could sleep. "I'll take the couch. I've fallen asleep on couches before." Especially when he stayed up too late. He yawned again. But when he heard Nina saying that she was going to stay up all night to guard and then Thomas vsaying he was going to as well he realised they were right. SOmeone needed to be awake at all times. He noticed thomas looking through his bag. After Thomas asked Nina his question about caffeine Garath interjected. "Why don't we split the night into shifts. A couple hours each so no one person goes without sleep. I can stay up for one shift at least as long as it's not the first shift." He then noticed what thomas was carrying. "Thats a ton of Caffeine."

[[Warning: Crappy post.]]
As Nikita stood with his legs spread and bent, and his back hunched over, he felt Eri hop onto his back and wrapped her arms around his neck. His breathing had unwillingly become heavy and shallow, making it harder for him to calm down and make his breathing return to normal. After he had cleared a way towards 8th avenue, he began running as fast as his legs could go, stopping only for a second when Eri would slide down too far down his back. He would re-wrap her arms around his neck and put one of his hands underneath her thigh. He felt her chest expand and contract rythmically as she breathed in deep. Poor kid. He thought as he began running again. How is she able to sleep through this? After a about a mile of running, he noticed that the gun shack was no longer in sight. There were only about 6 zombies following him now, so he turned around and shot them quickly with his pistol. When he reached 8th avenue, he took a quick left and readjusted Eri. Sweet. Only a few more blocks 'til we get to the pharmacy. He thought as he headed towards the pharmacy, creeping in the shadows.
Ada laughed once again at the answer Kalila gave her. She was glad that these children could defend themselves. Perhaps it was because she was lonely, but she enjoyed their company. They were not like many other punks that sit and whine about how life was unfair to them. That's why Ada really didn't like kids. She didn't know how to deal with them. That's why she was happy about these; she got the vibe that they would step up to the plate when the moment called for it. "You're very welcome." She told Nicholas.
"Yes..." She said softly, biting gently on her lower lip. "Nikita and Eri are headed towards the pharmacy. It's accross the street from the market. I'm sure we can meet your friend Mizuki along with them. I will need to stock up on food." Coincidentally, her stomach growled loudly. "All we have is a few candy bars. We really haven't eaten anything today and we are hungry." Unfortunetly, as she finished saying this, she saw the blood on them gleam; the cause of a distant street light. "Bathroom's downstairs. We've got plenty of water, also. I'll show you around, just follow me." She said, then walked in between their group to get to the door. She then opened up the door and allowed the light from inside spill onto the roof. Turning her head, she spoke to David. "While they get cleaned, I will show you where you can find the things you are searching for."

Reshion stood up from the table, and told Nina, "I'm not going to sleep either. I'll wait for the others, Thomas, you too. You guys should get some rest." He said, feeling a slight twinge of pain as he turned his head towards them. "Ssss." He said, closing his eyes, clutching his head. He took a harder fall than he thought, and the pain was bad. It was sure to get a hell of a lot worse soon enough. "I will be part of sweeping the store, and also help fortify if need be." He closed his eyes and turned his head to the side, groaning in pain. "Jesus, the pain is horrible. But I must press on. I must show them all how strong I can be." Breathing shakily, he clutched the table. The room was spinning slightly, and his vision was misty. Breathing heavily, he turned to Nina, "Is it ok if I drive the Honda still?" He asked her, smiling slightly.

((I apologize as well you guys... Homework is slowly, but surely, killing me! Well anyways, yah Funny_Man0... Just post whenever you have the time ^_^... Thanks for the warning.))
"You plan to stay up? Ah... alright then. That's good... I'm not really good at staying up alone all by myself." She said with a smile. Tho,as scavanged around within his stuff. Nina paid attention to the supplies floating around the bag. Nina mentally laughed, I see he wasn't joking when he said he doesn't sleep much... Then, of course, came the gamer fuel. Normally Nina wouldn't have known the significance of the items except they were a new flavor of Mountain Dew. But seeing as she was friends with Nicholas, the biggest gamer she knew, she knew what they were. "Oh God! You're a huge gamer..." She commented on how the kid had three of them. Thomas spoke. "Oh, who? Me? Me and caffine sren't good together at all. You see... It easily affects me." She said with a sheepish grin. "The first time I had an energy drink my hands wre shaking like crazy and it made my chest hurt..." She said. "But... I guess I could have a little... Very little." She added, just to get her point across.
Garath spoke up, changing his mind. "I like that plan... I like that plan a lot!" Nina said excitedly. "Good thinking..." She said throwing Garath a smile. "Why don't you go to sleep now... Or wait!" Nina whispered dramatically as an ideahit her. "How about two people stay up at a time! That way if something does go wrong two people are awake to back each other up. One person could sleep, and then switch off with one of the two, and so on and so forth until everyone has a turn of sleep and everyone has guarded.... Sound good?" Nina asked looking from one young man to the other. She liked both of these guys... Garath was her love interest and Thomas was a little brother figure. "I still say you can sleep now if you would like Garath." She said pointing an open palm towards the living room.
To Nina's surprise Reshion spoke up as well, thus she jumped a little. He had been quiet for a long time. "Not sleeping either, eh?" She mumbled... Well then how about this instead." She said thinking on how she could change her plan. "Um... Two people sleep at a time and two people guard at a time." She stated sitting on the ledge of the table. "One person will switch off at a time... So you don't have to stick with the same person on your team." She said with a nod. Nina noticed how Reashion was in pain. "Hmmm... No you won't." Nina said rather curtly about Reshion idea of what to do. "You said you were an awesome aim, right? If you're an awesome aim you have to be one of the people who stop zombies from coming in as well as protect the fortifiers..." She said with a frown. "Yeah... You can still drive... Oh... And take a asprin or something." She said much more nicely. "I saw Thomas has some Tylenol and we have some advil in the medicine cabinet... Take your pick. It'll get it for you if you like..." She said noticing him clutch the table.

Thomas considered Nina's plan. He was fine with it, but he knew he probably wouldn't be sleeping until around 5-6AM. He was too worried about everybody else to sleep anyway.
"Yeah, I play video games alot. I'm kind of like that... Mainly because I have nothing else to do, seeing as I might aswell be living alone. But any of you are more than welcome to take a bottle if you wan't"
Thomas sat the bottles on the table
"Uh... Nina, I'm fine with your plan, but I would just like to point it out that uhm.. I'm probably not going to be able to sleep until 5 or 6 in the morning. Possibly not for another 24 hours depending on how this night goes. If we're overunned by zombies, I won't sleep until we're safe. Which probably means Wal-Mart. The same probably goes for you guys, and you all probably need more sleep than I do..."
Thomas glanced at his insomnia pills laying on top of the pile of junk in his backpack.
"In addition I would also like to ask... What if we're overunned by infected and the others havn't returned yet? I know the chances are slim... But still."
Thomas sighed and rubbed his right temple with his palm.

David chuckled at the thought that someone trusted him enough to get silencers, but no one else. He didn't think much more of it though. Alex also started laughing. As Kalila brought up the cleaning up fact, David said, "I'm good... Why clean up when we are just going to go back out there and get gory again anyway?" "Alex why don't you go get cleaned up, I'll go get the silencers, and stuff." David said, looking over at alex, who was very happy at this thought. Alex hated getting dirty. Not to a germophobe level, but he just hated the feeling of it. Being covered with blood was not helping at all though... Although Alex wasn't sure where to go. Either go get cleaned up, or go with father. Alex may not have liked his father making fun of him, but for god sakes, he was still his father. Alex made up his mind, his father could handle himself, Alex needed to get clean. David looked at Nicholas, then leaned in closer. "I am going to get them, stop rushing me." David said, flicking Nicholas on the forhead in a playful manner.

"Pharmacy... That's a good idea. Our friends back at the house have a bunch of medical supplies but we don't. I'm sure a pain killer or a penicillin would come in handy." Kalila commented to herself. She didn't know about Eri's infection. "Forget the virus for a little bit and you still have cuts that could get infected with just everyday bacteria. There's still muscles overworking, sure to need a pain killer the next day if you wanna move at all, right?" She said, looking towards her brother. He nodded in agreement. "We're stalking up on food too... So yeah. We also have a good amount of food at Nina's house... So hopefully you guy'll be able to feast like king's when we return." Nicholas said with a smirk. David spoke to Alex. "I rather like being clean..." Kalila said crossing her arms. "If you get cleaned up now, but bloodly later at least the filth isn't acummulating." she said squinting her eyes in disgust. "If you go to wipe off sweat from you face with you arm or hands, which are cover, but the covering is still covered in blood... You're going to get the blood in your eyes, mouth, nose, or something..." She stated and shivered. "Absolutely disgusting..." She mumbled to herself. David spoke to Nicholas and flicked him on the head. Nicholas rubbed his head with the palm of his gloved hand. It didn't hurt, it was just a thing people did without true explaination, like when people say ouch when he or she accidentally bunch their food against something but it doen't hurt. "No... I'm gonna rush you you all I want... I want a silencer really bad..." He said in mumbled angrily complaint. He continued on in his upset mubling, most similar to Warner Bros. Yo Samity Sam's "raggafragga" -ing.
"Thank you very much." the siblings said in almost unison, just a few milliseconds apart on their speech. They got up and followed Ada towards the door. Ada spoke to David. The group walked inside and walked to where Ada lead them.

Crimson awoke before she was ready, her eyes snapping open. Her body was still tired, her mind still tired, but there was something blocking sleep. So she rose from where she had been sleeping, and returned to the main room, her face retaining traces of sleep.
With a sheepish smile, she greeted everyone,

Garaath nodded. "Sounds great, I have no problems with the plan. And I'll take you up on your offer of sleep. I'm not much good for anything. Just tell me when it's my shift and I'll be heading off to sleep right after." He yawned again and leaned against the wall listening to Reshion and Nina talk abit. When Thomas mentioned being overrun Garath felt he had to intergect. "Then we fight till we win or they get back to help us mop up. Nothing else we can do." thinking about the bad things that might happen seemed a bad idea. It would make things seem hopeless. Well more hopeless then they currently were, which was saying something.
