Doran was nearly bouncing up and down by the time they got to the hallway. "Dessert? Like, sugar?" Heh, sugar. You didn't want Doran getting his hands on sugar. THe fox boy grinned widely and licked his lips. "Can't wait..." He just wanted to hurry up and sit down and eat!

Gunther opened the doors to reveal a splendid room decorated in mostly gold, with a long oak table that people were already sitting at - the servants, etc. The two seats closest to them were open, but all the rest had been reserved or taken by someone. "Guess we have to sit together. Unless you want me eating in my room." The young lord looked at Doran out of the corner of his eye.

Doran could hardly care less that they were eating next to each other. "I don't care. But if you try and take my food, I'll stab you with a spoon." He said in all seriousness as he sat down. It took Doran a moment to get himself situated, seeing that these chairs weren't exactly meant for people with tails. He ended up just sitting on the edge of the seat, seeing that that was more comfortable. Had Doran not been so hungry, he might have taken into consideration that this was likely a well mannered place and, well, he didn't come across as well mannered.

Deoradhan Doran could hardly care less that they were eating next to each other. "Haha. Like I would steal your food." Gunther laughed, relieved that Doran was hungry; considering most slaves were used to absolutely no food, most went hungry the first few days. "We have plenty of it, don't worry." Gunther sat in the last seat available, piling his plate with food from the bowls and plates all over the table. But he didn't even make a dent in the food supply, that was how much food they had.

Doran just nodded and followed Gunther's example, piling his plate high with all sorts of foods. After grabbing a steak or two, some of his favorite veggies, mashed potatoes and an ocean of gravy, he began to dig in. Despite shovling everything into his mouth, he took the time to savor the food. "Mmm... tastes good! I could get used to this!" He exclaimed and gobbled up another mouthful of mashed potatoes.

Sythe shrugged. He never wore a watch. Never saw a need to. "I really have no idea." Sythe said, closing his eyes. "Almost time for your bedtime though." Sythe said, before turning his head towards Vanity and smirking playfully. The actual time was around 8:30 PM. Night was almost completely fallen, but did not seem like it because of the overly-bright moon. He chuckled a little bit at the statment, knowing that it would annoy Vanity, even if just a little.
~*OOC*~ Sorry for the shortness of Sythe's post. I'm having some problems getting into his character. Damn school. stare ~*OOC*~
Jei smiled slightly, the smile lingering on his lips as he spoke. "Well, I am glad you like it." Jei said, letting his hands drop to his sides. "Where am I? Well, I am standing in front of you, in your room, in my house... shall I continue?" he asked, a playful tone in his voice. He paused for a moment when she asked about a dojo.
"Um... yes, I do." he said. "I can't help but wonder. Why would you want to know if I had a dojo?" Jei asked, curious. Jei used the dojo for martial arts training, as well as strength training. "I'm guessing you would like me to show you it, correct?" Jei said, turning slightly, moving out of the way of the door.
Lein smiled, and took her hand in his. "This way, Fayte-san." he said, leading her up an inter-locking brick pathway. "Now. Would you like me to describe it to you?" he asked, his voice a little enthusiastic, his ears perking up a little. To be short, Lein loved his house. It was small and homely, having enough room for five residents. True, Lein had money, but he would rather put it to good causes like charities.
~*OOC*~ Sorry for the shortness on Lein's post, Ari-chan. That's as much as I can put down until your character responds. ~*OOC*~

Vanity couldn't help but feel her left eyebrow twitch lightly upword from that statement. "Hehehehe, you're funny." She said through a forced smile and gritted teeth. She stood up and brush herself off while glancing at the Sythe once in awhile, she couldn't help but notice how the moon shined on Sythe's blonde hair making it look white. Vanity couldn't help but laugh outloud at Sythe as an old man with white hair.

Tis' okay. I am having that problem right now. Having a C in science doesn't really help me be more creative either.

Iyla nodded, her hands folded over each other in front of her. She shook her head, smiling ever-so-slightly. "That's one good thing about the ribbons, even if they're rather horrible... yes. I would like to see it very much. I fight, and have not in awhile. It's a horrible feeling, being out of practice." A playful twinkle crept its way into her eyes as well as her smile. It would be a lie to say she wasn't enjoying herself. Those things could come later, though, as well as... well, the entire house. "And I was referring to your room." A note of teasing had snuck in there somehow.
Iyla stepped lightly past him, hoping that was what he had meant by stepping aside. She stood in the hallways, her feet feeling the wooden floor. Her toes curled just thinking about the future. It was bonding time.

Hmm. So she does fight. Quite an interesting quality. Jei thought, amusedly. "My room?" Jei repeated, stepping out after her and closing the door behind him. He pointed to the door now on his right, the left if you were coming up the stairs. "Right next to yours." he said, non-chalantly. He caught the hint of teasing, and decided to play it cool. "Now, the dojo. It is straight down the stairs, and to your left. It's the last door in the hall." Jei said, directing her towards the dojo.
Now... the real question is... should I go easy on her? I guess I should. I do not want to hurt her at all.
~*OOC*~ My posts as of late are very..... yech. ~*OOC*~
Sythe smirked. "I try." he said. Closing his eyes once more, he let out a sigh, enjoying just lying on the ground. He felt as though Vanity was looking at him, then he heard her giggle. One of his eyes opened halfway, looking to Vanity. "What's so funny? Do I have something on my face?" he asked. If I do... I wonder how it got there. Sythe thought, pondering over the idea.
~*OOC*~ ZOMG!!! IM MISSING HOUSE SEASON 2!!! ILL COME BACK AND EDIT SYTHE'S PART LATER!!
Ok. It's edited. Sorry about the craziness... and the apparent shortness of the post. my posts only seem to get shorter these days for some bloody reason. ~*OOC*~

Gunther grinned, taking a bite of them himself. "And I also made the gravy, but mom changed it somehow... maybe a little too much milk." He thought out loud. "But either way, it still tastes pretty good, I think." "Master Gunther." An elder servant whispered to him. "Yes, what is it, Philip?" The young lord asked, coming slightly out of his rant. "You're ranting about your cooking again." "... oh, right, yes." Gunther blushed slightly, falling silent. "Sorry. I do that a lot." He then started on his steak.

[[ xD That's great! I wish I had a show to get excited about like that... and don't worry. I get like that sometimes, too. ]]
At the sight of the other door, Iyla's cheer was smushed, but not in a disheartening sense. "...ah," she said in response to both things spoken. She walked on until entering it, marveling for a few moments. Everything was so splendid, everywhere. Her hair swished as she turned to face him. "Do you have katanas? Can you duel?" It was obvious to herself that she was not yet ready to face someone of such skill as he seemed to possess, but her excitement fueled her on. In her tight little cell, she would do excercises, but only when the guards weren't watching. Maybe there was a slight chance.
Then again, she was only human.
A childish light in her eyes, she stared at him openly. Her walls had weakened greatly. Though a little voice in the back of her mind told her that it would be terribly awkward talking to him tomorrow, she ignored it. The happiness couldn't be bursted. That would be devastating.

"Nothing." Vanity giggled. "Hey Sythe, have you ever thought of getting your haired dyed white?" Vanity asked raising a mischiveous eyebrow while she tried to hide her smirk, which was not working. Vanity sat down again started playing with her hair and at the same time thinking what her hair would look like white.

Doran was barely listening. He was too interested in the food he was inhaling. Mmm... The kid paused for a moment, letting his food settle. His tail wagged happily and on his cheek was a dallop of gravy that had escaped his mouth. I dare Gunther to lick it.
The foxboy looked around the table in search for more food. Maybe there was a dish he forgot to try or missed. Perhaps he could even sneak into the kitchen... Doran quickly dismissed that last thought and began to nibble on some carrots, his eyes stil wandering.

Gunther slowly took the napkin off his lap and wiped off Doran's cheek, setting his used napkin on the table just as he finished his food. "Had a bit of gravy on your cheek there." He smiled as politely as he could. Something tells me I probably shouldn't have done that. Not like it matters. Slowly he stood from the table, nodding to his mother and exiting the room. His mother sighed, but said nothing as she continued to eat some more.

Doran froze when he felt Gunther wipe the gravy off and slowly relaxed. He didn't like to be touched, sure, but the guy was just being polite... right? The boy watched, puzzled when Gunther excused himself. Where's he off to? he wondered curiously and quickly finshed what he was eating and washed it all down with some water. Seeing that he wasn't as well-mannered as Gunny, Doran just darted from the table in persuit of the fleeing lord. The fox boy would try to stay hidden and follow Gunther if possible.
