Xylia blinks and glances at who stepped out of the portal and tilted her head shifting through her memories. She briefly had an encounter with him before but that was years ago at some point when they were at a carnival and shrugged it off.

Summer thought that she felt something she looked at the green angel. Was Xylia always so pretty she was not intimidated by the crowd. Summer had forgotten about new goddess had appeared or that the party had taken a strange turn all that she into was the beautiful green angel that was talking to her. Summer was too scared to make a move on Xylia she was just to out of her league. Summer was just looking at Xylia as if she was the most important pae in the world.

Xylia tilted her head to the side as Summer was looking at her "something on your mind?" she asked her. She shifted a little from foot to foot. "Do you mind if we go get some fresh air?" she asked Summer wanting to go out to the balcony to get away from the crowd. That and she didn't want to Adonis to recognize her. Since she remembered their brief encounter and didn't want to draw any attention to herself, especially with it being Venus' birthday and what not.

Good point. The angel shrugged helplessly. "I'm going to say yes...But maybe she doesn't have friends and if random pae didn't come no one would've?" Only thing lamer than a party with strangers was a party with no one at all.
The voice of reason, Gray followed the demon off of the dance floor. He was planning on continuing dancing, but she had pulled them so fast away! Apparently she had her fill of sweeping along the floor. "If you invite me to your birthday party, I'll be sure to bring a present you'll like." He should probably address the whale in the room. "So...um. Monroe. I, uh..." Awkward...He deeply blushed, his eyes flicking onto their clasped hands. He didn't want to let go...so he took her other hand with his other hand. Now he could fully face her. "I like you. A lot. You're my best friend...really my only friend. But I also want you to be my girlfriend." Deep breath. Got to remember to breathe. "Will you be my girlfriend?"He breathed an audible sigh of relief when he was back by Harmonia's side. At least they had met up before things got any crazier. "Adonis? I remember him. Venus' boyfriend, right?" Speak of the devil. Out he popped in all his shiny glory. He remembered him flexing quite a bit on the boat last year. "Your family is...a little odd." He looked back at Harmonia, flashing a boyish smile. "But so are all families." Him? Worthy of her? Impossible! He deeply blushed as his lips parted to speak more. But before words came out, her lips had sealed them off. His eyes widened in surprise before eagerly returning the kiss. If she wanted to kiss, he would kiss! The leafy winged fae wrapped his arms around her to pull the tie-dyed pae closer. Maybe it was the alcohol. Maybe it was how he suddenly thought she was the best thing ever and was perfect in every way. But he was certainly feeling bolder.
When they finally pulled away he swore he was seeing stars, and not just the ones that dotted Grendells hips. "You wanna dance or...you want to take this to a room?" Whatever she wanted he'd do. Within the Party Hall, it would be unknown that a storm was brewing outside. The winds started to stir up making the waves crash against the shore and the trees bend back over themselves from the force. Lightning cracked in the sky, but was unheard until a particularly powerful one clashed right above the building. Everyone within would hear it and catch the flickering of the lights inside...

With a sigh she affirmed, "Fiance" Though that maybe splitting hairs at this point. Even with Hymm here, she didn't think an actual wedding would ever occur. From where she stood there wasn't much difference if a wedding never happened. Where ever her thoughts were going, he brought her right back. Full on laughing at his comment she had to shake her head as she quelled the mirth, "Oh you have no idea, beloved." Her family was strange and broken but it was family. "Normal would be boring but more harmony would be nice." Her smile never faded, the comment was an observation not a complaint.
Even as her family livened up the party, the Deity wouldn't' have it any-other way. Especially since they were tactful enough to leave Tristan be, let that stay that way. Her smile did fade when the lights flickered and the sound of lightening crashing caused her to jump. One hand rushed to lay over her heart to calm it down.
Lightening itself didn't bother her, it was just the unexpectedly powerful sound coming out of not where.
Looking up she commented, "I didn't think we were expecting a storm." As proof to her disregard towards the change in weather she just added, "Good thing I planned to stay in our room for the night." Stay, not sleep, her plans wouldn't be killed by a little storm.Grendell eagerly answered seductively, "Oh Lief I want you all to myself." What better way to show reverence to him than finding a room? Besides, he should be worshiped, just not by anyone else!
Only the lightening crashing managed to get her to look away from the perfection that was Leif. What was that!? Oh who were they? It was the first time she noticed anything outside of them since they sat down.Tartara Seabreeze Harmonia to Tris and gren to Leif.

Dysmas leaned in closer to Sweetie, thinking that this had something to do with the body spasms that she was having. "What is it?" He asked her. Dysmas' eyes grew wide as Sweetie made her confession. No, that definitely did not have anything to do with flexing. The male's face turned bright red, as red as it could be. "Here?" He questioned her, his eyes blinking rather quickly as he looked around to double check that there was no one else close enough to have possibly heard the utterances that came from Sweetie's lips. "Said yes?" He questioned her, still in shock. "What exactly did I say yes too?" Goosebumps formed on Dysmas' skin as he heard the unexpected sound of lightning, and watched the lights in the room flicker. A storm...? Dysmas looked around the room again, listening to the dull murmur that now filled it.

Monroe nodded her head thoughtfully before shrugging her shoulders. It was an interesting scenario to say the least. "Aw, thank you!" Monroe said in a chipper fashion. "But you wouldn't need to do that, you being there would be the best gift." If only their host had the same kind of thoughts, but it was her party after all and Monroe certainly wouldn't be able to provide for her guests the kind of things that had been provided for her and Gray on their trip so far. Monroe listened intently as Gray spoke, first looking down at their held hands and then slowly looking up until she met his gaze. She could tell how nervous he was. She felt nervous now too. She wanted to put them both out of their misery and tell him that she felt the same way, but her nerves held her back so she let him finish his speech. "Oh... Gray... I..." CRACK!Monroe's eyes grew wide as she squeezed Gray's hands as tight as her hands could possibly squeeze and scooted as close to him as possible, she even yelped. "What was that?!"

Kleta was near mother, watching Persephone with suspicious eyes as she mentioned a gift for Venus. She didn't presently have her spear ready, instead she had an arrow notched in her bow, now aimed at Persephone, but ready to go in any case. It certainly wouldn't be as effective as her spear at stopping things, but at the very least would provide a distraction while she proofed to get a spear. Hopefully Persephone wasn't here to give her mother too much grief. Oh Adonis... Persephone could keep him, she thought with a roll of her eyes. Although she knew how much mother had enjoyed him, and after she was done scoffing at Adonis, Kleta shot a glare at Persephone for whatever discomfort she was causing Venus. Then the Lightning cracked. Kleta was already on edge due to Persephone's presence so when the Lightning struck and the lights flickered, the green goddess' finger slipped and loosed her arrow. Tika put down her chocolate cup and walked across the table to the other side where there was more 'savory foods'. She picked up these little (hot dogs) things that had tiny spears sticking out of them. Tika poked the questionable looking meat (none of the sweet treats had struck her as questionable... But it had a spear in it, so clearly someone had hunted for them. She put one in her mouth, chewed it, tasted it, spat it out. What was this poor excuse for a hunt? Tika looked up, hoping to browse the foods for a more edible eat, but instead she spotted, across the room, a big pae. Under normal circumstances, she would have cared less. At the moment she was filled with unexplainable urges. Perhaps it was all her pent up agression towards the big pae, and maybe his Mohawk was the straw that broke her back, but she wanted to fight him! Tika jumped off the table and made a mad dash for the big, blue pae. "Ahta, booty!" Tika called out. "Ahta! Ahta!" She shouted at the big, blue pae as she looked up, up, up at him. She bounced back and forth from foot to foot, and waved her arms around, trying to make herself look bigger. "Putta!" She called out to him. DaemonGabrielle My tiki kitty wants to wrestle Pelagious.

Summer blushed Xulia was talking to her. "Ok, that sounds like a good idea." she could stay with Xylia longer and maybe she could show off her plant knowledge. She started to head towards the balcony when she heard the crash along with the lights flickering. Summer jumped surprised by the loud noise. "What in the world was that." She turned her head from the lovely Xylia to look out the windows and saw the storm outside. "Wow. I do not think it would be advisable to go outside any more." she turned back to Xylia she was so pretty.
